Good and Faithful Servant
Please pray for an end to spiritual warfare that has targeted me since I was young. Please also pray for an end to vivid, disturbing dreams that I constantly have - which sometimes are related to the warfare and sometimes are not. Please also pray for me because I'm so overwhelmed and every five seconds, there's something else going on in my life between spiritual warfare attacking me and someone always wanting something from me - I just want to be left alone. Please pray for me to have a better schedule and to stop ending my nights so late. Please pray that God would lead me to new jobs - and possibly the ability to have at least two jobs, one primary and an extra one. I am considering staying now at the jobs I currently have. Please pray for wisdom for me about this and that all issues I have with these jobs would get better for me and my coworkers. Please pray for me to be set free from maladaptive daydreaming and inappropriate sexual thoughts which I keep giving in to especially while falling asleep - and which the enemy seems to be directly increasing temptation toward. The sexual thoughts are really becoming a serious problem in my life and I'm so ashamed. God set me free from sexual sin before. I'm so sad to be falling into it again. 💔 I think because I'm struggling with depression right now, I'm using those thoughts as an outlet. Please pray. Pray that the African American community would be set free from false teachings. Pray for my entire family as we all seem to have the flu - pray that no one caring for me in my sickness would be made sicker while trying to care for me. My father who was the first one to get sick but was getting better now seems to be coughing a lot again. Please pray for three of my cats - two who were scratching themselves too hard and accidentally caused wounds and the other who was making a strange noise with his mouth the other night but seems fine now. Pray that all my cats would be and stay healthy. I have no money for a vet and don't even know of a good one in our area. We love our pets so much. Please pray that I would stay disciplined in eating according to a diet I have to eat on due to a medical condition. Please also pray for a close friend who has fibromyalgia, alpha thalassemia, blood pressure problems, prostate concerns and asthma. Pray that I would be a suitable encouragement and helpmeet to my boyfriend as we continue in courtship. Thank you.

We stand with you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who has already triumphed over every power of darkness. Your request touches deeply on spiritual warfare, physical struggles, emotional exhaustion, and the battle for purity, all areas where the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy. But we declare that Jesus came so that you may have life, and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Let us lift you up in prayer and speak truth over every area of your life.

Heavenly Father, we come before You as Your children, covered by the blood of Jesus and empowered by Your Holy Spirit. We first take authority over the spiritual warfare that has targeted our brother since childhood. In the name of Jesus, we break every assignment of the enemy against his mind, his dreams, and his spirit. We command every tormenting spirit, every spirit of fear, oppression, and confusion to flee now in Jesus’ name. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4). We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we cover him in the armor of God, truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).

Lord, we ask You to bring an end to the vivid and disturbing dreams that have plagued him. Give him peaceful, restorative sleep, free from the enemy’s interference. We pray that You would station angels around him as You did for Elisha, so that he would see the spiritual reality, that those who are with him are more than those who are against him (2 Kings 6:16-17). Father, we also ask that You would quiet the overwhelming demands on his time and energy. Teach him to cast his cares upon You, for You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Help him to establish healthy boundaries and a godly schedule, trusting You to order his steps (Proverbs 16:9). Give him wisdom in his work, whether to stay in his current jobs or seek new opportunities, and let Your peace guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).

We must address the area of sexual sin with both truth and compassion, for it is a snare the enemy uses to bring shame and bondage. Our brother has confessed his struggle, and we thank God for his honesty. The enemy would love for him to remain in isolation and shame, but we declare that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). However, we must also say plainly that yielding to sexual temptation, whether in thought or deed, is sin, and it grieves the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 4:30). The Bible warns that if we sow to the flesh, we will reap corruption (Galatians 6:8). But if we sow to the Spirit, we will reap eternal life. We rebuke the spirit of lust and perversion in Jesus’ name and command it to leave. We pray that God would renew his mind with Your Word (Romans 12:2) and fill him with the fruit of the Spirit, self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). Father, we ask that You would restore the joy of his salvation (Psalm 51:12) and lead him to accountability with godly brothers who can pray with him and encourage him in purity.

We also lift up his struggle with depression and maladaptive daydreaming. Lord, You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would lift the heaviness from his heart and fill him with Your hope. Help him to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to fix his eyes on You, the Author and Finisher of his faith (Hebrews 12:2). We pray against the lies of the enemy that tell him he is alone, that things will never change, or that he is beyond Your grace. We declare that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that You have plans for him, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

For his family battling the flu, we pray for complete healing and protection. We ask that You would strengthen their immune systems and prevent the spread of illness. Lord, we also lift up his father, asking that You would restore his health and ease his coughing. For his cats, we pray for Your healing touch. You are the Creator of all living things, and we ask that You would bring comfort and health to his beloved pets. Provide wisdom for their care and, if it is Your will, open a door for affordable veterinary help.

We pray for his friend with fibromyalgia, alpha thalassemia, blood pressure issues, prostate concerns, and asthma. Father, You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would bring relief, strength, and healing to his body. Give our brother wisdom in how to encourage and support his friend in ways that honor You.

Regarding his courtship, we pray that he would be a godly helpmeet to his future spouse, as Scripture calls husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church (Ephesians 5:25). We encourage him to pursue purity in this season, remembering that marriage is honorable and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral (Hebrews 13:4). Let this time of courtship be marked by holiness, prayer, and a shared commitment to Christ.

Finally, we lift up the African American community, praying for discernment and a hunger for Your truth. We ask that You would raise up godly leaders who preach the full counsel of Your Word, free from the distortions of false teachings. Let the light of the gospel shine brightly, drawing many to salvation in Jesus Christ.

Father, we thank You for our brother’s faith and his willingness to bring his struggles before You. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). Strengthen him, renew his mind, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We trust You to complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear how heavy everything feels right now, spiritual battle, the vivid dreams that rob your sleep, the constant pull of people, and the inner shame around the sexual thoughts. When depression dips low and your defenses are worn thin, the enemy presses in hard, and it’s no wonder you’re exhausted. You’re not crazy or beyond hope; you’re in a fierce fight, and we hurt with you that it’s been so relentless.

Because shame tends to isolate, one of the bravest things you can do is bring this into the light with a trusted brother or sister, a pastor, or a Christian counselor who will listen without flinching. Depression and old patterns often feed each other, so it may also be wise to see a doctor about the depression, not instead of prayer but alongside it, so your body and mind get the support they need.

For the late nights and overwhelming schedule, could you pick one small boundary this week, maybe a set time to put your phone aside and let your mind quiet down without slipping into the daydreaming? It won’t fix everything at once, but it can interrupt the spiral. For the job decisions, we’ll ask God to give you a growing clarity as you keep seeking Him, and we’re glad you’re actively thinking through what’s best rather than just reacting.

Now we simply bring all of this before the Lord.

Father, we lift up our friend who has endured spiritual attack for so long. Silence the enemy’s voice and grant deep, dreamless rest. In the overwhelming press of daily demands, give moments of true stillness. Break the hold of maladaptive daydreaming and sexual sin; in the vulnerable moments before sleep, guard this mind and body with Your presence and rebuild holy desires. Lift the heavy depression and provide wise, compassionate help. Strengthen this one to eat wisely for health, and bring healing to the whole household from the flu, protect the caregivers, restore the father, and keep these beloved cats safe and well. Give clear discernment about the jobs, resolving workplace difficulties for everyone’s good. Draw the African American community into the freedom of Your true Word. Sustain the friend with the many health needs, and grant our friend the grace to be a steady encouragement in this courtship, walking in purity and wisdom. In Jesus’ name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You have brought a heavy load, and the Lord invites you to cast it all upon Him, for He careth for you. I will join you in spreading these many requests before the mercy seat, asking God to do what only He can do.

We ask that this long spiritual warfare, which has pursued you since childhood, may now be broken by the same power that brought Israel out of Egypt. The Lord who delivered you from the guilt of sin can deliver you from the power of sin. We ask for an end to these vivid and disturbing dreams, and for the peace of Christ to stand sentinel over your mind while you sleep. He neither slumbers nor sleeps, and He can command the night to be quiet.

Concerning the lustful thoughts that trouble you as you fall asleep, we do not ask God to bless or overlook them, for that would be to ask what a holy God cannot give. We ask rather for deep repentance, for renewed hatred of sin, and for the grace to cry out immediately, Lead us not into temptation. Do not parley with the enemy. The very moment the thought begins, flee to Christ. You are right to be ashamed, but let that shame drive you to the cross, not into hiding. He who set you free before is not grown weak. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth from all sin. Rise again, and do not make your depression an excuse for the indulgence. Bring the sorrow itself to Him, for He is near to the brokenhearted.

About your schedule and your nights, ask God for discipline and for the wisdom to order your days so that you do not wear yourself out. You are not called to be the saviour of everyone who wants something from you. There are times to withdraw, to pray, and to rest. The Lord Himself took time apart. Pray for the grace to say no when you must, and to give out of His strength rather than your own emptiness.

For your employment, we ask for wisdom from above. If God would have you remain where you are, ask Him to remove or sweeten the difficulties, to make you a peacemaker among your coworkers, and to give you contentment. If He would open another door, or give you a second employment, He knows your need before you ask. Seek first His kingdom and righteousness, and He will order the rest. Ask also for courage to obey Him whichever way He leads.

We lift up your household in this sickness, especially your father whose cough has returned. The Lord is the healer of His people. We ask that those caring for the sick may be shielded from harm, and that this fever may pass quickly. Commend your three cats to the God who made all creatures and who takes note of every sparrow. We ask for their wounds to close, for the strange noise to prove nothing, and for wisdom to find an honest and affordable veterinarian if the need increases. The Lord cares for the beasts He has made, and He does not despise the love you have for them.

We ask for your friend with fibromyalgia, thalassemia, blood pressure troubles, prostate concerns and asthma. The Lord has chastened him sorely, but He has not given him over to death. Pray that this friend may know the patience of Christ and the comfort of the Holy Ghost, and that you may be a true helper and encourager to him.

Pray also for the African American community, that they may be delivered from false teaching. The gospel is not a matter of race or custom. It is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth. Ask the Lord to raise up faithful preachers who will exalt salvation through Jesus Christ alone, who will call people to repentance and faith, and who will not tickle the ears with half truths. False doctrine is a yoke, but the truth of Jesus makes free.

Concerning your courtship, the name helpmeet belongs to marriage, not to courtship. We ask that the Lord would make this season pure, God fearing and directed toward the only end that pleases Him, which is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. Pray for self-control in both of you, that you would be an encouragement to godliness and not a snare. Until a covenant is made before God, let there be no act, no thought, and no indulgence that would defraud the other or bring shame upon the name of Christ.

Remember that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost. Ask for grace to keep the diet your medical condition requires, not as mere bondage but as wise stewardship. The Lord who gives bread can also give the will to refuse what is harmful. Bring every craving to Him, and He will supply the strength you do not have.

You have much to carry, and the enemy would have you believe that you are utterly forsaken. But the Lord has not cast you off. The clock of mercy has struck in Heaven before, and it can strike again. Deliverance may not come all at once; often God brings His people out by degrees. But He has said, I have found a ransom. Trust Him for the end of the warfare. Trust Him for the quieting of your mind. Trust Him for the ordering of your days. And when deliverance comes, you shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord. If you had no troubles, you would have less to declare. These very burdens shall become matter for praise.

I leave you with this plea: do not let shame keep you from immediate confession and immediate return to Christ. The devil loves to turn a fall into a permanent retreat. But the righteous falleth seven times, and riseth up again. Rise now. Bring every unclean thing to the light of His presence, for He is faithful and just to forgive and to cleanse. The battle is not yours alone. Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world.

I shall pray for these things. May the Lord give you a song of deliverance, and may you yet declare, I shall not die, but live.

The weight of these burdens is real, but God is faithful. I have brought all of them before the Lord, and I will not speak lightly of what you are suffering. The spiritual warfare you have known since childhood is not a sign that God has abandoned you. The enemy attacks most where he sees a soul that belongs to Christ. But remember the promise: no temptation has overtaken you except what is common to mankind. God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear, but with the temptation he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it.

Your shame over the sexual thoughts is not meant to drive you into hiding. Let it drive you to the mercy of Christ. The enemy says you are already ruined, so you might as well continue. That is a lie. You said God set you free before. That same Lord is able to set you free again. Confess quickly, do not linger with the thoughts, and do not make them an outlet for depression. Depression is heavy, but sin will not heal it. Bring the depression itself to God, and also seek the help of a faithful pastor or older believer who can pray with you and walk beside you. You are not meant to fight this war alone.

The late nights are part of the problem. Weariness weakens your resistance and gives the enemy room. Set a time to sleep and keep it as a matter of obedience. Before you lie down, fill your mind with prayer and Scripture, especially the Psalms. If the thoughts come while you are falling asleep, do not stay passive with them. Rise briefly, call on the name of Jesus, and read until the storm quiets. Guard what you look at and listen to during the day. Maladaptive daydreaming must be met with active replacement, not just regret. When you catch yourself in fantasy, turn deliberately to prayer or useful work. The mind must be filled with something better, or it will return to its old haunts.

I have prayed for your work and for wisdom about the jobs. Ask God first for His kingdom and His righteousness, and then for clarity about work. Do not despise steady labor, but also do not wear yourself down with two jobs if it will destroy your health and your ability to pray. If staying is right, ask the Lord to make you peaceable with your coworkers. If leaving is right, ask Him to open the door. Either way, do not make the decision in panic. God is not honored by a life in constant hurry and exhaustion.

I have prayed for your family as they suffer with this flu, and for your father whose cough has returned. May the Lord heal your whole household, and may He protect those who care for you so that they do not become sicker. I have also prayed for your three cats, that their wounds would heal and the strange noise would remain nothing. God cares for the creatures He has made, and medicine for animals is costly. Ask Him for wisdom if they need care, and do not let guilt over not having money for a vet become yet another weight. You are not required to solve every need at once.

I have prayed for your friend with fibromyalgia, alpha thalassemia, blood pressure problems, prostate concerns, and asthma. May the Lord give relief, wise physicians, and endurance. I have also prayed for your diet. Ask God for daily discipline, not only out of fear of the medical condition but because your body is meant to serve Him. A simple, consistent obedience in eating is itself a kind of spiritual watchfulness.

Your longing to be left alone is understandable when you are overwhelmed, but isolation will not heal you. Seek solitude with God, not withdrawal from His people. The burdens will not all disappear at once. Our Lord said each day has enough trouble of its own. Bring today’s trouble to Him, and let tomorrow’s trouble wait. Otherwise you will carry the whole weight of the future and collapse.

I have prayed for the African American community, as you asked, that false teachings would be exposed and sound doctrine would prevail. False teaching is a snare for every people, and only the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ sets anyone free. Pray that those who are being deceived would come to the Scriptures themselves and test every spirit.

Concerning your courtship, do not take on the full role of a wife before the covenant of marriage has been made. I have prayed that you would be a suitable encouragement to your boyfriend, but let your encouragement point him to godliness, prayer, purity, and self-control. Let the relationship be conducted in honor and restraint. If it is God’s will, let it lead to marriage, and then you may serve him as a wife with a clear conscience. Until then, guard your heart and your body. I cannot ask God to bless sin, but I can and do ask Him to give you true repentance, cleansing, and strength to walk in purity.

The battle against the unseen powers is real. It requires strong arms, sobriety, and continual vigilance. But the Commander is standing by, ever ready to help. He has not left you. Rise from every fall, confess, and keep fighting. I will continue to pray for you.

Thank you for sharing so openly and honestly about what you are carrying. So much is pressing on you at once and it is understandable that you feel overwhelmed and exhausted and just want some quiet and rest. I have prayed for you and want to share some truth from Scripture to encourage you.

The Bible teaches that there is a real spiritual conflict going on around us between angels who serve God and those fallen spirits who rebelled with Satan. Many times we are not fully aware of it, yet we feel the spillover of that conflict in our daily lives. That can show itself as heaviness, depression, discouragement, restlessness or agitation, and even in unsettled sleep and disturbing dreams. Your experience of warfare since you were young and these vivid dreams fits with what Scripture describes. Our real battle is not against people or circumstances of flesh and blood, but against spiritual powers. For that reason the weapons that help us are not natural or worldly methods, but spiritual ones that God has provided. His Word, faith in Christ, and prayer are the means by which we stand and overcome the attacks of the enemy.

Along with that warfare comes temptation. Scripture makes a clear distinction. God may allow a testing to show us where we are and to build patience as we learn to wait on Him, but God never entices anyone to do evil. The solicitation to evil comes from the enemy. He works through three broad avenues, the desires of the flesh, the desires of the eyes, and pride. Every temptation carries the same suggestion, that you could have immediate relief or fulfillment if you would just step off God's path for a moment.

It is important for you to hear that being tempted is not itself sin. All of us are tempted, and Jesus Himself was tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin. He knows the pressure you feel, especially at night when you are tired and vulnerable, and He is able to have compassion and to help you because He endured temptation to its full intensity without yielding. Sin comes when desire is allowed to conceive and we choose to follow the path the enemy suggests. In each moment of temptation there is a decision, whether to walk according to the flesh or according to the Spirit.

You mentioned shame over giving in to sexual thoughts and daydreaming, especially as you fall asleep, and that you are using those thoughts as an outlet while you are struggling with depression. The Lord does not want you to live under that shame, nor does He want you to stay in that cycle. He set you free before and He can restore you again as you turn to Him in repentance and faith. You do not have to be mastered by the flesh any longer. Scripture says that you have died with Christ and your life is now hidden with Him, and you can choose to reckon yourself dead to those old desires and alive to God. A practical help is to fill your heart and mind with the Word of God before sleep, so that when temptation comes you can answer it as Jesus did with what is written. Memorizing and praying Scripture, turning on the Word or worship as you go to bed, and bringing those thoughts quickly into obedience to Christ can help guard your mind. If depression is weighing on you, please also reach out to a trusted pastor or counselor and to your doctor for care, while you continue to seek the Lord daily for strength.

I also hear your exhaustion from never having a moment to yourself, from nights that end too late, and from the pressure of work decisions. The testing of faith is meant to develop patience, and patience often grows as we learn to wait on God rather than forcing an immediate answer. Pray for wisdom about whether to stay where you are or to seek a primary job and perhaps additional work. Ask the Lord to establish a healthier schedule with adequate rest, and to bring peace to the issues you and your coworkers are facing. God is faithful to give wisdom when we ask Him.

I have prayed for your family as you all deal with sickness, and for your father who is coughing again, that the Lord would bring complete healing and protect those who are caring for others from becoming more ill. I have prayed for your cats that God would keep them healthy and heal the wounds from scratching and any distress you noticed, and that He would provide what you need as you care for them. I have prayed for discipline and grace as you follow the diet required for your medical condition, and for your close friend who is suffering with fibromyalgia, blood issues, blood pressure problems, prostate concerns and asthma, that God would bring comfort, healing and strength according to His will.

You asked to be a suitable encouragement and helpmeet to your boyfriend in courtship. That desire to encourage him is good, and I pray that your courtship will honor the Lord by keeping the biblical pattern that marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and that sexual intimacy belongs only within that marriage. Use this season to build friendship, prayer, purity and wisdom together, seeking counsel and keeping clear boundaries, so that you help one another grow in Christ and discern whether God is leading you toward marriage.

I have also prayed as you asked that God would deliver many in the African American community from false teaching and draw them to the truth of the gospel, which is salvation through Jesus Christ alone, by grace through faith.

Father, I bring this dear one before You in the name of Jesus. You see the long history of spiritual pressure, the troubled dreams, the weariness and the loneliness. Cover this life with the blood of Jesus and grant peace at night and clarity of mind. Give victory over temptation through Your Word and Your Spirit, and lift the weight of shame with the assurance of forgiveness for those who confess and turn from sin. Provide rest, a better rhythm for each day, and wisdom for every decision about work. Touch each family member who is ill, especially a father who is coughing, and bring healing. Watch over these beloved pets and provide for their care. Grant self control and strength for the needed diet. Comfort and heal a friend who suffers from many physical afflictions. And guide this courtship in purity and truth, that it would honor You. Fill this heart with hope, patience and the knowledge that You understand every weakness and are near to help. Amen.
