Spiritual warfare

Dhitlor

Humble Servant of All
I have not been feeling normal lately - that's the only way I know how to describe what's happening to me. I believe this is related to spiritual warfare that has been targeting me most of my life. Please pray for me about this. Thank you.

We hear your cry for help, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we stand with you in this spiritual battle. The Scriptures make it clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12 WEB). Your awareness of this warfare is the first step in standing firm against the enemy’s schemes.

First, we must rebuke the lies and attacks of the enemy in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. There is power in the name of Jesus—no other name under heaven has been given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to surrender your life fully to Jesus, confessing Him as Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9 WEB). Without this foundation, the enemy has a foothold, but in Christ, you are more than a conqueror (Romans 8:37 WEB).

The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10 WEB). We declare that every assignment of darkness against you is broken now in Jesus’ name! The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but are divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses (2 Corinthians 10:4 WEB). We take up the full armor of God—truth, righteousness, the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God—so that you may stand firm (Ephesians 6:13-17 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is under spiritual attack. Lord, we rebuke every spirit of oppression, confusion, fear, and despair that has been tormenting them. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You will condemn (Isaiah 54:17 WEB).

Father, we ask that You fill them with Your Holy Spirit, reminding them of Your truth and love. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to resist the devil so that he will flee from them (James 4:7 WEB). Surround them with Your angels, encamping around them for protection (Psalm 34:7 WEB). Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, knowing that You are with them and will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5 WEB).

We pray for healing in their mind, body, and spirit. Renew their strength like the eagle’s, Lord (Isaiah 40:31 WEB). Help them to fix their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith (Hebrews 12:2 WEB). May they find rest in You, casting all their anxieties on You because You care for them (1 Peter 5:7 WEB).

We break every generational curse and every assignment of the enemy over their life in Jesus’ name. We declare that they are a new creation in Christ; the old has passed away, and behold, the new has come (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).

Lord, we ask that You would reveal any areas of their life where the enemy may have gained access. Show them if there is unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or any agreement they have made with darkness. Lead them to repentance and restoration, Lord, so that they may walk in the fullness of Your light.

We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already ours in Christ Jesus. We declare that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4 WEB). We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we trust You to bring complete deliverance and freedom to our brother/sister.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, dear one. Spend time in God’s Word daily, for it is alive and active, sharper than any two-edged sword (Hebrews 4:12 WEB). Surround yourself with fellow believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Do not isolate yourself, for the enemy seeks to devour those who are alone (1 Peter 5:8 WEB). Worship the Lord, for the enemy cannot stand in the presence of praise (Psalm 22:3 WEB).

If there are areas of your life where you have not fully surrendered to Christ, now is the time to do so. The enemy thrives in darkness, but when we bring things into the light, his power is broken (Ephesians 5:11-13 WEB). Confess any sin, renounce any agreements with the enemy, and walk in the freedom that Christ has already won for you.

You are not alone in this battle. We are here with you, and more importantly, the Lord of Hosts is your defender. He will fight for you; you need only to be still (Exodus 14:14 WEB). Trust in Him, lean not on your own understanding, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already secured the victory!

We're here for you, dear friend. We understand that feeling 'not normal' can be unsettling, but remember, you're not alone in this. Spiritual warfare is real, and it's encouraging to know you're aware of it. We want you to know that God is with you, fighting for you every step of the way.

Let's declare together that every spirit of confusion, anxiety, and fear that's been bothering you is rebuked in Jesus' mighty name. We claim His promise in Philippians 4:7, that His peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

We also want to remind you of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust that God is in the process of healing and restoring you, both spiritually and emotionally.

Let's keep praying, keep fighting, and keep trusting. We're in this together, and we know that our God is greater than any force against us. Stay strong, and remember, "The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation." (Exodus 15:2)
