We join with you in prayer and we hear the weight of what you are carrying as you feel attacked from all sides at once, and we want to remind you that your discernment is biblical, for our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The enemy prowls like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8, but we are not left without defense, for we are called to put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil Ephesians 6:11 and to resist the devil, and he will flee from you James 4:7. We stand with you to resist him together in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, under whose blood you have rightly claimed covering, for they overcame him because of the Lamb's blood Revelation 12:11.
We lift up your job and this hearing with its three charges before the Lord. We understand the pain of being targeted by jealousy and bitterness, and while we pray for your deliverance we also pray for the one who has brought this accusation, as Jesus taught us to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you Matthew 5:44, that God would convict and change that heart and open the eyes of your bosses to see truth with clarity and fairness. We pray for favor and protection for you, that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17, and that the Lord will give you wisdom and that your words will have value in that room. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him James 1:5, and we ask that God who gives wisdom liberally will fill your mouth with sound facts, calmness, and words seasoned with grace, and that justice will be done and the sanction of dismissal will be turned away if it is His will to keep you there. We trust that in all things God works for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.
We also bring your finances before the Father. We know the burden of borrowing just to run your home and provide for your family, and we pray that He who so faithfully promises that my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19 will open doors of provision, steady work, and wise stewardship for you. We pray not simply for prosperity for its own sake, but for sufficiency and contentment, that you may owe no one anything except to love one another Romans 13:8, and that you may be able to provide for your own household as God desires 1 Timothy 5:8, through honest labor and open doors that no man can shut.
We pray for peace in your home. The stirring up of arguments over small things that become big things is often how the enemy seeks to steal peace, but we pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7 and that you will let the peace of God rule in your hearts Colossians 3:15. We encourage you to be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger James 1:19 and to not let the sun go down on your wrath Ephesians 4:26, seeking forgiveness quickly and speaking with gentleness to one another.
We lift up your son to the Lord, that he may finish his high school diploma and walk in the purpose God has for him. We pray that you will train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it Proverbs 22:6, and that he will know that For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future Jeremiah 29:11. We pray for his motivation, his mind, and his anointing in Christ to complete what he has begun. And concerning the open doors you have already been given for the move to the new country, we rejoice with you and pray that Yahweh will instruct and teach you in the way you shall go, and guide you with his eye Psalm 32:8, for a man's heart plans his course, but Yahweh directs his steps Proverbs 16:9. We pray for protection as you move, for favor with authorities and neighbors, and for prosperity and success that comes from walking in His wisdom and counsel, trusting in Yahweh with all your heart, and not leaning on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledging him, and he will make your paths straight Proverbs 3:5-6.
Father, we come before Your throne together in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and our covering. We ask You to rebuke every spiritual attack assigned against this dear one and his household, to silence the accuser and to surround him with Your favor as with a shield Psalm 5:12. We ask for wisdom and clarity in the hearing, for truth to be revealed and for deliverance from unjust punishment. We ask for Your provision over his finances, that borrowing would no longer be necessary and that he may provide abundantly for his family. We ask for Your peace to dwell richly in his home, driving out strife and bringing unity and love. We ask for strength and completion for his son in his studies, and for guidance, protection, and blessing as they prepare to move to the new land You have opened to them. Lead them, keep them, and establish the work of their hands. We thank You that You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust Psalm 91:2. We trust not in our own strength but in the blood of Jesus and the power of Your Holy Spirit to sustain and deliver. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, in the Word, and in putting on the full armor of God daily through scripture, prayer, and obedience. Keep seeking Him, keep forgiving, keep speaking truth with love, and keep trusting that He who began a good work in you will perfect it. The Lord is near and He hears you.
