Spiritual attack on steroids - need protection

Please pray urgently for my sons, ### and ###. They are both walking through an incredibly difficult season and seem to be under intense spiritual attack. A series of painful circumstances, setbacks, and troubling situations have begun to spiral, and they desperately need God’s protection, intervention, and peace. Please pray that every plan of the enemy against their lives would be stopped, that every harmful cycle would be broken, and that God would place a powerful hedge of protection around them. Pray for clear minds, wise decisions, discernment, strength, and freedom from fear, confusion, discouragement, temptation, and anything pulling them away from God’s purpose for their lives. Please intercede for relief, restoration, healing, and a complete turnaround in their circumstances. Pray that God surrounds ### and ### with the right people, closes every dangerous or destructive door, opens the doors meant for them, and guides their steps back onto solid ground. Most of all, please pray that they feel God’s presence deeply and know that they are loved, protected, and never alone. Thank you for standing in prayer with me. I am believing for breakthrough, protection, peace, and restoration in Jesus’ name. Amen.

We stand with you in deep concern and faith as we lift up your sons, and , before the throne of grace. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke every assignment of the devil against their lives, their minds, their peace, and their purpose. The Word declares that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, they shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We take authority over every spirit of fear, confusion, discouragement, and temptation, commanding them to flee in the mighty name of Jesus.

Father, we ask You to place a hedge of protection around and , just as You did for Job (Job 1:10). Let Your angels encamp around them, guarding them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Break every cycle of pain, setback, and trouble that has taken root in their lives. Restore what has been lost, heal what has been broken, and renew their strength like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31). Grant them clarity of mind, wisdom in their decisions, and discernment to recognize the enemy’s schemes (James 1:5). Let them not be overwhelmed by the storm but anchored in Your truth, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).

Lord, we pray that You would surround them with godly people who will speak life, encouragement, and truth into their lives. Close every door that leads to destruction and open the doors You have ordained for them (Revelation 3:7-8). Guide their steps back onto solid ground, where their feet do not slip (Psalm 121:3). Let them feel Your presence deeply, knowing that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Remind them that they are loved with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3) and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

We declare breakthrough over their lives, breakthrough in their circumstances, their emotions, their faith, and their future. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We stand in agreement with you, believing for restoration, protection, and a mighty turnaround. May they rise above every attack and walk in the victory that is theirs through Jesus Christ.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your power to deliver, Your mercy to restore, and Your love to sustain. Strengthen their faith, deepen their trust in You, and let them see Your hand moving on their behalf. We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

Thank you for bringing this to us. It is clear from your words how deeply you love your sons and how heavy your heart is right now. Walking alongside people you cherish while they face painful, confusing seasons feels like a battle, and we want you to know we are with you in it.

When it seems like setbacks are spiraling, it can be tempting to focus on the chaos. But what you are doing, crying out to God and asking others to stand with you, is not small. There is real strength in a mother's prayers, and there is power when believers unite before the throne. You are not alone in this.

One concrete thing that might help, when you think of your sons during the day, is to quietly speak simple truth over them in prayer: that they belong to Christ, that His plans for them are good, and that His peace can quiet every storm. You do not need to convince your sons of these things right now; you are simply agreeing with what God has said, and that can steady your own soul as you wait. If you have a trusted pastor or a mature Christian friend, you might also ask them to pray with you in person, there is something strengthening about hearing another voice calling on Jesus alongside your own.

Lord Jesus, we lift up these two young men to You. Guard their hearts and minds. Stop every plan of the enemy meant to harm them, and break the cycles that keep them off balance. Surround them with people who will speak truth, and close doors that lead to destruction. Give their mother endurance and a deep sense of Your nearness. Protect and restore her sons. We trust them into Your hands, in Your name. Amen.

This battle you describe is not a skirmish of flesh and blood; it is the arch-enemy upon them. He is such a master of the cruel art of soul-wounding that every stroke tells, and he knows their weak places in this present season. Yet there is no cause for ultimate despair, for hopeless is human bondage unless the malice and craft and power of Satan can be matched by love and wisdom and force superior at all points. And so it is matched. The Lord Jesus sits at the table above, and until His last enemy is made His footstool, He intercedes with a prayer that must win its suit with God.

Do not look so much at the spiraling circumstances as to that look from the Lord which severs a man from the crowd. I desire earnestly that your sons may experience what Peter did, not merely a fall arrested, but a restoration. One writer says the story should rather be called Peter's restoration than Peter's fall. The crowing cock of conscience and the look of Christ are the singular combination that brings a soul back. That look was effectual because the Lord Jesus had made prevalent intercession. Cry to Him for that look to fall upon your sons. Pray that every plan of the enemy may be stopped and that they feel, deeper than their confusion, that they are loved and never alone.

And what is this but to seek a perfect restoration? The promise stands sure: "I will bring them again." If you do not accept His mercy, it will look as if you were desperately set on being God's enemy. Let him do what he likes, I, for my part, cannot see what more God can say! Urge them to turn again to their old life and hope. If they are the King's favorites, He will not take from them what He will take from an enemy. Because He is a loving God, He is a jealous God. The Lord will uplift them from among the siftings where Satan has thrown them. How art thou vanquished, O thou enemy! How art thou spoiled, O thou spoiler! Death is an enemy to be destroyed, and this present trouble is but the bitter herbs before the milk and honey. The arch-enemy will fly away confounded from them if they are able to resist him in this hour of grief.

When you speak of your sons enduring a spiritual attack, you describe exactly what happens when we allow the devil a foothold. There is no such thing as a fixed cycle of fate or a nativity that binds them to these painful circumstances. Such thinking is a trifle, a falsehood. The devil does not assault us by some cosmic necessity but seizes his opportunity when we are isolated. He set upon the woman in the beginning when she was alone; he set upon Christ in the wilderness, in solitude. Therefore, the first and most urgent need for your sons is to be flocking together with the faithful, banded together in the body of the Church, so they are not open to his attacks. For when we give even a hair’s breadth of division or isolation, he rushes in like a torrent.

Their strength will be found not merely in asking for a hedge, but in entering the heavenly things that are done on earth. Do they not know what takes place in this holy assembly? When the Spirit is with us, when He who sits at the right hand of the Father is here present, the altar itself is heavenly. It hath nothing carnal. When they draw near to the sacrifice that makes all things bright and splendid, they draw near to the very presence of God where Christ appears for us with a sacrifice that has power to propitiate the Father. Let them lay hold of this. Let them not only ask for prayer but run to the medicine of repentance themselves. After your intense prayer for them, this is the essential herb: almsgiving joined to faithfulness. You are pleading for harmful cycles to be broken, for relief and restoration. Then let your sons give alms with diligence. Water will quench a flaming fire, and alms will do away with great sins. As they seek to be pulled back from temptation, let them contribute their talent, whatever ability they have, for their neighbor’s advantage, living for the common good. This is most pleasing to God.

And why does the Lord so often bring forward a man’s sins when he seeks healing? It is not to slander, but to secure him for the future, to say, “Sin no more.” You ask that every plan of the enemy be stopped. The surest way to stop these plans is for your sons to be at enmity with the devil, not with their own souls through sin. If they are being pulled away, let them turn the weapon of anger against the real enemy and bury the blade in his breast, not in their own members. And when they feel alone, let them find companions not just for comfort, but for a spiritual traffic. Let them seek out men who are poor and free to share their meals, who will rebuke, admonish, and help them, becoming joint fathers in their care. This is how God surrounds them with the right people. The report of their affliction has reached our ears. You believe for a complete turnaround. Good. For the conversion that comes by Divine revelation and sudden sanity is proof of God’s own hand. We stand with you, asking that every door which is destructive be shut, and that they know, with a knowledge deeper than feeling, that they are never alone because Christ Himself, the One taught by no man, has by His sacrifice made a way for them to enter the heavenly country itself.
