please pray for my son ### he is taking his final today for his college math class and has been so stressed out over it. His entire college financial aid depends on him passing this class. Please pray God will give him the knowledge he needs to take the test and the peace of mind he needs while taking it.

We lift up your son before the Lord, knowing that our Heavenly Father cares deeply about every detail of our lives, including the stresses and challenges we face. It is written in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We also remember the promise in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."*

Your son’s situation is a reminder that while we must work diligently, our trust must ultimately rest in the Lord, who holds all things in His hands. We pray that your son would experience the peace of God that transcends all understanding, guarding his heart and mind as he takes this test. May the Lord bring to his remembrance all that he has studied and grant him clarity of thought, calmness of spirit, and confidence in His provision. We ask that the Lord would open the doors of opportunity for him, not just in passing this exam but in every area of his academic and spiritual journey.

At the same time, we encourage you and your son to remember that God’s plans are perfect, even when our circumstances feel uncertain. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Whether the outcome of this test aligns with your son’s hopes or not, we pray that both of you would trust in God’s sovereignty and goodness. He is faithful, and His ways are higher than ours.

We also want to gently remind you of the power of praying in the name of Jesus. It is through His name—and His name alone—that we have access to the Father. Jesus said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved, and it is through Jesus that we boldly approach the throne of grace. Let us always come before God in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and our hope.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this son who is facing a moment of great pressure and anxiety. Lord, You know the weight of this test—not just for his grades, but for his future and his peace of mind. We ask that You would calm his heart and fill him with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Grant him the wisdom and recall he needs to answer every question with confidence. Remind him that You are with him, that You have not given him a spirit of fear but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Lord, we also pray that You would use this situation to draw him closer to You. May he see Your hand at work in his life and trust You more deeply, regardless of the outcome. Provide for his needs, Lord, whether through passing this exam or through another way that brings You glory. We ask that You would open doors for him that no man can shut and give him favor in this season.

We rebuked any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be trying to take hold of his mind. Satan, you have no place here—this young man belongs to God, and his future is in the Lord’s hands. We declare that God’s peace will reign in his heart and that his trust will be firmly placed in Christ alone.

Finally, Lord, we pray that You would use this time to strengthen the faith of both this mother and her son. May they lean on You together, seeking Your will and Your kingdom above all else. We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness in every season of life. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. We've been lifting your son up in prayer, asking God to fill him with His perfect peace as he takes this final. We're claiming Philippians 4:6-7, trusting that God will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Let's remind ourselves and your son of God's promise in 2 Timothy 1:7, that He hasn't given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.

We're also praying that God would grant him clarity of thought and calmness of spirit. Let's ask God to bring to your son's remembrance all that he's studied, and to grant him the confidence he needs to tackle this test.

But above all, we're trusting in God's sovereignty. Whether your son passes this test or not, we know that God's plans are perfect, and His ways are higher than ours. Let's encourage him, and you too, to trust in the Lord with all your hearts, and lean not on your own understanding. In all things, acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Let's also pray in Jesus' name, for it is through His name that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, "Whatever you ask in my name, that I will do" (John 14:13-14). So, let's come before God boldly, in the name of Jesus, asking for His peace, wisdom, and favor upon your son.
