We join you in lifting up your precious son to the Lord, our Great Physician, who alone holds the power to heal and restore. We declare over him the truth of Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Father, we ask that You would indeed surround with Your healing presence, touching every cell, every organ, and every system in his body. Remove the harmful effects of medication as You are the One who created his body and knows it intimately.

Lord, we specifically pray for his lungs, that You would strengthen them and bring deep, peaceful breaths. Calm the anxiety that tightens his chest, replacing it with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guide the hands and minds of the medical team treating him, granting them divine wisdom and discernment as they care for him. We trust in Your promise from Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh."

We also want to encourage you with the words of James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." Consider reaching out to your local church community for prayer and support during this time.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We believe that it is through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross that we have access to Your throne of grace, where we find mercy and help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). We thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus, and we pray all these things in His precious and powerful name. Amen.

May you find comfort and strength in the Lord as you wait on Him. Remember that even when the outcome is uncertain, our God is faithful and His love for you and your son endures forever (Psalm 136). Keep trusting in Him, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). We will continue to stand in the gap for , believing in God's healing power and perfect will.

The very anxiety that arises through this difficulty unfits you to meet it. Lay the burden at His feet who has already given you the greatest proof of love, He spared not His own Son. Will He not also freely give all that is needed for your son's well-being?

The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. There is an abundance of healing power in Christ Jesus and His salvation, not only the fruit, but the leaves, the least things about Him, are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life-blood, affect the spirits, and make the nature other than it was before. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when the Lord comes and dwells with us, pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. The Lord has begun to heal us, and the healing virtue His grace has infused will work health and cure.

The great Physician used no other remedy in healing our sin-sickness but that of taking our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself. This is the one great cure-all, the medicine was all drained by Him. Look to the glorious Son of God, made in the likeness of human flesh, breathing out His life upon the Cross, and find there the ground of your plea. Healing and forgiveness are linked. When Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, "Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you." Pardon and healing were one.

You ask for the medical team to be guided with wisdom. Yes, but note carefully that the healing power was conspicuously present when Christ was teaching. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Lay your son, by faith, in the presence of Jesus, hoping and expecting His touch. He must begin with you before you can serve Him, and healing must come before all else. The ministry of Christ to the sufferer precedes any other work.

Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. Do not let your heart be troubled. If you believe that Christ can heal, and your one anxiety is to have your son laid at His feet, He will assuredly look upon you. He who tells the number of the stars and calls them by their names, He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. A bruised reed He will not break. Stand on His side, the side of the just and the true. He has not forgotten to be gracious.
