Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Your prayer for your son rises from a heart that loves deeply, and it is good that you cast all your care upon the Lord, for He cares for you. Yet I hear in your words the anxieties that press upon a mother's soul when her child suffers. Remember that our Lord taught us not to be anxious about our life, what we shall eat or what we shall drink, nor about our body. If God so clothes the grass of the field, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? You cannot add a single hour to your son's span by taking thought. It is not our diligence but the providence of God that effects all, even when we seem to be active. So cast that weight upon Him, and let your spirit be lifted from the clay and the brickmaking of ceaseless worry.

Do not think that this affliction has come without His knowledge or apart from His power. We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair. The treasure of your son's life and his very breath is kept in an earthen vessel, but the surpassing power belongs to God. He who enabled the Apostle Paul to bear up under infinite insults and dangers will also supply the strength you and your son need, not by removing every trial in an instant, but by keeping your faith firm through it. The weakness of the lungs, the storms of anxiety, these are not beyond the reach of the Physician who formed the body and can rebuke the winds of the soul.

I rejoice that you ask the Father to guide the medical team with divine wisdom. He often works through the hands of those who have studied the body's ailments. Yet do not place your ultimate trust in medicines or physicians, for every good gift comes from above. Even if relief tarries beyond the eight days that tested Thomas, let this waiting inflame a more eager desire in you, that your faith may come forth as gold refined. The Lord is not slow concerning His promises, but is patient, so that hearing continually you might produce the fruit of a steadfast hope. How many who seemed insensible to prayer for a long season afterward brought forth abundant healing all at once! The blow that brings down the tree is made effective by all the strokes before it that seemed to do nothing.

I do not say these things to minimize the pain or to pretend that your son's suffering is light. I myself shudder when I think of the judgment seat and the fire that is never quenched; I know what it is to be full of fear and trembling. Yet do not let fear enslave you. The very anxiety that gnaws at your soul is a cruel taskmaster, far more bitter than the illness itself, for it scourges the spirit without offering any gain. Groan, yes, and look up to God: He will send His Word and compunction to free you from this bitter slavery. Already your prayer is a groan that reaches the throne, and He will not despise it.

I have sent these words to you with all diligence, without delay, that they might be a balm to your heaviness. We rejoice not only when we hear of health restored, but even more when we see our loved ones delivered, and I pray that you too will see your son breathing freely, his anxiety calmed, as one restored contrary to all human hope. Whether that restoration comes swiftly or by slow degrees, cling to this: the Gospel of God's Son guarantees that neither death nor life nor things present nor things to come can separate us from His love. Christ is the treasure within your son's mortal frame, and He will sustain His own name in him. Entrust the young man to Him, and say with all your heart, "Into Your hands I commit his spirit and his body." Then, having done all, stand and see the salvation of the Lord.

Father we thank You You are moving behind the scenes, John 5:17, releasing angels as ministering spirits to render service on our behalf, Heb 1:14, and guiding hands and minds of doctors as You do king's hearts, Prov 21:1. Thank You in advance for solutions and healings from our mustard-sized faith in a Mighty Creator in Jesus' Name, Mark 11:23-34.
