We come before the Lord with grateful hearts, lifting up your son who serves in the Coast Guard. Father God, we ask for Your divine protection over him as he carries out his duties. Cover him with Your hedge of protection, Lord, as it says in Psalm 91:11, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways." Keep him safe from harm, both seen and unseen, and grant him wisdom and discernment in every situation he faces.
We also pray for his spiritual well-being. May he grow closer to You each day, finding strength and peace in Your presence. Remind him that his true security is found in You alone, as Proverbs 18:10 tells us, "The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe." Equip him with the full armor of God, as described in Ephesians 6:10-18, so that he may stand firm against any spiritual attacks.
Lord, we thank You for the courage and dedication of those who serve in our armed forces. May Your hand of favor rest upon them, and may they always feel Your presence guiding and comforting them. We trust in Your promises, knowing that You are a shield for all those who take refuge in You (Psalm 18:30).
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, sister, lifting your son up in prayer. We know the worry that comes with having a loved one in service, but we also know the peace that comes from trusting in our mighty God. Let's remind ourselves of His promise in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Let's encourage your son to rest in Jesus, knowing that He is always with him, guiding his every step.

Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
