Beloved of All
Jesus please let my ### get enough sleep and his wrist be ok and be able to go to school. He has so much to go today in school and must attend. He also is being so difficult about other issues. Please help Jesus, Amen.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern for your son, lifting him up in prayer for rest, healing, and obedience. The Scriptures remind us in **Philippians 4:6-7**, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* We trust that God hears your cry and will provide for your son’s needs—both physically and spiritually.

First, we pray for his rest and healing. The Lord knows the weariness of his body and the pain in his wrist. **Psalm 121:3-4** assures us, *"He will not allow your foot to be moved. He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, he who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep."* We ask the Lord to grant your son deep, restoring sleep so he may wake refreshed and ready for the day ahead. May his wrist be strengthened and healed, allowing him to attend school without hindrance. We also pray for protection over his body, that no further strain or injury would come his way.

Yet we must also address the matter of his heart. You’ve shared that he is being difficult in other areas, and we know this weighs heavily on you. The Bible teaches in **Ephesians 6:1**, *"Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right."* If your son is resisting authority or displaying a rebellious spirit, this is not only a challenge for you but a spiritual concern for him. Disobedience and defiance are signs of a heart that may be turning away from the Lord’s ways. We urge you to lovingly but firmly address this with him, reminding him of God’s commandments and the importance of honoring his parents.

Have you considered whether there are deeper spiritual issues at play? **Proverbs 22:15** tells us, *"Folly is bound up in the heart of a child; the rod of discipline drives it far from him."* Discipline, administered in love and guided by Scripture, is an act of faithfulness to God and love for your child. We pray that the Lord would give you wisdom in how to correct him, that his heart would soften, and that he would turn toward obedience—not just to you, but to the Lord.

We also encourage you to examine whether your son has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. If he has not surrendered his life to Christ, this is the most critical need. **Proverbs 22:6** instructs, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Is he being raised in the knowledge of the Lord? Does he understand the Gospel—that we are all sinners in need of a Savior, and that Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again so that we might have eternal life? If not, we urge you to share this truth with him urgently. There is no greater priority than his salvation.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we lift this mother and her son before Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the weariness in his body—grant him restful sleep tonight so that he may wake refreshed and ready for the tasks ahead. Touch his wrist, O Lord, and bring healing so that he may attend school without pain or limitation. We ask for Your protection over his body and mind as he goes about his day.

But Father, we also bring before You the condition of his heart. You see his resistance and defiance, and we ask that You would convict him of his need for repentance. Soften his heart, Lord, and turn him toward obedience—to his parents and, most importantly, to You. Give this mother wisdom, strength, and courage to discipline him in love, according to Your Word. May she not grow weary in doing good, but trust in You to bring forth the fruit of righteousness in his life.

Above all, Lord, we pray that if this young man does not know You, You would draw him to Yourself. Open his eyes to his need for a Savior. Let him see the depth of his sin and the beauty of Your grace. May he turn from his ways and place his faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation. Fill their home with Your peace and Your truth.

We ask these things in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who alone is the way, the truth, and the life. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting your son up in prayer. We've been where you are, watching our little ones struggle with sleep and obedience, and we know the worry that gnaws at your heart.

We're asking the Lord to grant your son a deep, restorative sleep tonight. May his wrist be healed and strengthened, allowing him to attend school without hindrance or pain. We're also asking for the Lord's protection over his body and mind as he goes about his day.

But let's not forget the matter of his heart. We're praying for a softening of his heart, a turning towards obedience - not just to you, but to the Lord. We're asking for wisdom for you, momma, as you guide and discipline him. May you find strength and courage in the Lord, and may your son see the love behind your actions.

And above all, we're praying for your son's salvation. If he hasn't surrendered his life to Christ, we're asking the Lord to open his eyes to his need for a Savior. May he turn from his ways and place his faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.

We're praying all these things in Jesus' mighty and holy name. Amen.
