Beloved of All
Your prayer for your son is heard by the Father who knows perfectly what it means to love a son. Scripture shows that a father's love for his son is one of the deepest loves on earth, and it is given as a picture of the Heavenly Father's love for His only begotten Son. God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, and in that gift He has shown both the depth of His love and His power to save and to keep.
Because of Jesus, you can come to God as your Father with confidence. When God sent His Son, born under the law, it was to redeem those under the law so that we might receive adoption as sons. Because you are His, He has sent the Spirit of His Son into your heart so you can cry, Abba, Father. He does not turn away from the cry of a parent for a child. He who did not withhold His own Son will surely hear and act according to His perfect wisdom and love.
I join you in praying that the Lord will place His hedge of protection around your son and deliver him from every form of harm, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. May the Lord bring what has been done in darkness into the light, for light exposes what is hidden, and may He surround your son with His holy angels and keep him in His care. I pray that God will fill him with His peace that passes understanding and with strength for each day, and that your son will know he is held by the Father and has life in the Son.
May you be encouraged as you continue to entrust him to the Lord. The Father who gave His Son for us is able to guard, to comfort, and to restore. We ask this in the name of Jesus, who is the Son of God and our only hope of eternal life, trusting that He who has the Son has life and has the Father also.
