Heavenly Father, I pray Your hedge of protection around my son ###, deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light. Surround him with Your angels and fill him with Your peace and strength, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in lifting up your precious son before the throne of grace and we stand with you in agreement for his protection and deliverance. Your heart as a parent to plead for a hedge of protection around him is so right and so biblical, for we remember how you placed a hedge around Job as it says in Job 1:10, and we ask for that same divine enclosure around your son today.

We pray against every form of abuse, for such things are not from God but are works of darkness. Scripture tells us in Ephesians 6:12 that our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. We also take comfort that God commands that we have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them in Ephesians 5:11, so we agree with you that every hidden deed would be exposed and brought into the light where it loses its power. No weapon that is formed against you will prevail in Isaiah 54:17, and we claim that promise over your son.

We thank God that you prayed in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find protection and salvation as it says in John 14:6 and Acts 4:12.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this beloved son to You. We ask You to place Your hedge of protection around him and to deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Surround him with Your presence and let him dwell in the secret place of the Most High, for He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty in Psalm 91:1. We ask that You command Your angels concerning him, for You have promised in Psalm 91:11 that You will put Your angels in charge of him, to guard him in all his ways, and that the angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear Him, and delivers them in Psalm 34:7. Expose every deed of darkness that has been hidden and bring it into Your light, and let no harm overtake him. Fill him with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding in Philippians 4:7 and strengthen him with Your might, for You have said in Isaiah 41:10 do not be afraid, for I am with you, do not be dismayed, for I am your God, I will strengthen you, yes, I will help you, yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Guard him from the evil one, for You are faithful and will establish him and guard him from the evil one in 2 Thessalonians 3:3. Let him feel Your nearness and know that You are his refuge and fortress. We entrust him into Your loving hands and thank You that You hear our prayers. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand firm in prayer and to trust the Lord as his protector, and also to take every practical and godly step to ensure his safety, seeking wise and biblical counsel and the help of trusted authorities if abuse is occurring or suspected, for God calls us to protect the vulnerable. Keep covering him in prayer daily, speaking scripture over him, and reminding him that he is deeply loved by you and by his heavenly Father who will never leave him nor forsake him.

We hear the love and concern in your prayer for your son, and we are honored to stand with you for his safety and peace. Carrying this kind of worry as a parent is heavy, and it is right to bring it to the Lord and to seek help around you as well.

One thing that often helps when abuse of any kind is feared is to make sure there are safe, steady supports close by. If you have not already, consider identifying one trusted pastor, counselor, or other safe adult who can walk with you and your son, listen well, and help you think through next steps for his protection and care. Keeping a simple private record of what you notice and what your son shares, in his own words when possible, can also help you give clear information if you need to seek guidance from appropriate professionals or authorities. Above all, keep the door open for calm, unpressured conversation with him so he knows he is believed and not alone.

We are praying for you as you navigate this with wisdom and courage.

Father, we lift ### to You and ask for Your protection over him in body, mind and spirit. Surround him with Your presence, bring what is hidden into light in Your way and time, and fill him with peace and strength. Your prayer for your son has been brought before the Lord and we join with you in earnest supplication for him.

There is comfort in knowing that the heart of our heavenly Father is not cold toward His children. As the father of the prodigal had compassion and ran to embrace his son, so the Lord looks upon those for whom we pray with tender mercy. He is not distant from your son in this hour of need, and He hears the cry of a parent who pleads for protection.

We ask the Lord to set His hedge about your son as He did about Job of old, to deliver him from every form of abuse whether of body or of mind or of spirit. We pray that every deed of darkness would be exposed and brought to light, for the Scripture says that what is done in darkness shall be made manifest, and the Lord is One who brings hidden things to light. May no weapon formed against him prosper, and may every snare be broken.

We entreat the Lord to give charge to His angels concerning him, for it is written that the angel of the Lord encamps round about them that fear Him and delivers them. May the Lord Himself be his refuge and fortress, his peace in trouble and his strength in weakness. Where fear and turmoil have pressed upon him, we pray that the peace of God which passes all understanding would guard his heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

Take comfort that the blood of Jesus Christ is a fountain opened for sin and for uncleanness, and that through Him we have access to the throne of grace. We do not trust in our own cries alone, but in the great Sacrifice offered once for sin, by which Christ has redeemed His people and secured them from all risk of wrath. He who hid not His face from suffering for us will surely keep those who trust in Him.

Continue to cast your burden upon the Lord, to watch and pray, and to plead the promises of His Word over your son. We will keep praying that the Lord will surround him, uphold him, and fill him with courage and quiet confidence in Christ, until He brings him into a place of safety and rest.

Heavenly Father, we lift this son before You, cover him with Your hand, expose every evil, drive away every oppressor, and let Your peace and strength dwell richly within him, for the sake of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

I join you in prayer for your son and bring your request before the Lord with you. Your love for him as a parent reflects the greater love of our heavenly Father, who did not remain far from us but sent His Son to be born of a woman so that we might be born of the Spirit and become sons of God through Him.

I pray with you that God will place His hedge of protection around your son and deliver him from every form of evil, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Christ came for this very purpose, to deliver us from evil and to supply what is good, to rescue us from the curse and to bring us into adoption as children. Through Him we have confidence to ask for mercy, for He gave His life as a ransom for many, and He knows how to guard those who belong to Him.

I ask the Lord to expose every deed of darkness that has touched your son and to bring it into the light, so that what is hidden may be made known and lose its power. May God surround him with His holy angels, keep him from harm, and fill his heart with peace and strength that comes from the Spirit of adoption. Even when trials remain, God is able to set us above fear and to teach us to rest in the hope of His care and the promise of life everlasting.

Continue to commend your son to Christ daily, to pray for him, to teach him a pure and holy life, for right faith lived out in good works brings a strong protection, and to trust that God hears the prayers offered through His Son. May the Lord keep your son in safety, comfort him in every trouble, and grant to you both peace that remains.
