We lift up your precious son to the Lord with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for his protection and deliverance. The world is filled with unseen dangers, but we know that our God is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. We declare Psalm 91:11-12 over , "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Heavenly Father, we ask that You dispatch Your heavenly hosts to encamp around him, to guard his steps, and to thwart every scheme of the enemy designed to harm him.
We rebuke every spirit of abuse, physical, emotional, or spiritual, in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We command every hidden work of darkness to be exposed and brought into the light, for "everything that is revealed by the light has become visible" (Ephesians 5:13). Lord, let no weapon formed against prosper, and let every tongue that rises against him in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we pray that You would fill with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen him with Your might in his inner being, so that he may be rooted and grounded in Your love (Ephesians 3:16-17). Remind him daily that he is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14), and that his worth is found in You alone. Let him walk in the confidence of Your promises, knowing that You are with him wherever he goes (Joshua 1:9).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for you, as his parent, to recognize any signs of distress or danger in his life. Give you the courage to act swiftly and the grace to cover him in prayer without ceasing. May your home be a sanctuary of love, truth, and safety, where can grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man (Luke 2:52).
Lord, if there are any areas where has been wounded or is vulnerable, we ask that You would heal those places with Your balm of Gilead. Restore what has been broken, and replace every lie of the enemy with Your truth. Let him know that he is never alone, for You are his ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We stand on Your Word, which declares that no evil shall befall him, nor shall any plague come near his dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We thank You for Your faithfulness, and we trust that You are working all things together for his good, because he is called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray and declare these things. Amen.
