Your prayer for your son has been heard and I join you in lifting him before our heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

We ask the Father who so loved us that He sent His own Son to take our flesh, not only to deliver us from evil but to bring us into sonship, that He would place His hedge around your son. Through Christ we have received the Spirit of adoption by which we cry Abba, Father, and on that ground we boldly ask for protection over him in body, mind and spirit.

Christ Himself came not to be served but to serve and to give His life as a ransom for many. He knows what it is to be mistreated and He is near to those who suffer. We pray that every deed of darkness directed against your son would be exposed and brought into the light, for light makes all things manifest, and that the Lord would surround him with His angels and keep him from all abuse whether physical, emotional or spiritual.

We ask that God would fill him with His peace that passes understanding and with strength for each day. Scripture teaches that protection is also joined to a holy life lived before God, so we pray that your son would be kept close to Christ, clothed with Christ, walking in faith and purity, and that you would be given wisdom to guide and guard him with love and truth. Even when the Lord permits trials, He grants something greater than mere escape, the power to stand firm and to know that nothing can separate us from His love and that a better hope awaits those who trust Him.

May the Lord keep your son under the shadow of His wings, comfort his heart, strengthen his spirit, and let him know deeply that he is a beloved child of God. We continue to pray with you that God would do this for His glory and for your son's good, in Jesus name, Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart for your son. I join you in bringing him before our Heavenly Father, who knows fully what it means to love a son.

Scripture shows us the depth of that love. God promised David that the Messiah would be His Son, and Isaiah spoke of a child born and a son given. From the human side a child was born in the line of David, from the divine side a Son was given when God gave His only begotten Son. At the baptism of Jesus the Father spoke from heaven and said, This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. That voice declares who Jesus is, the Son of God, shown with power by His resurrection from the dead. Because He is the Son, He has power to save, to cleanse, and to deliver.

God understands a father's love for his son. When Abraham was asked to offer Isaac, his only son whom he loved, we see a picture of what God Himself would do in giving His own Son for us. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should have eternal life. That life is in the Son, and he who has the Son has life. Through Him we who were under the law can be redeemed and adopted as sons, and if sons, then heirs of God through Christ. Your son is deeply loved by the Father, even more than you love him.

I pray with you for that hedge of protection around him. The Scriptures teach that wisdom and discretion bring safety, that when we keep sound wisdom we can walk safely and our foot will not stumble, and when we lie down we will not be afraid. In the same way we are urged to keep ourselves in the love of God, abiding in Him and in His truth, continuing in the Son and in the Father. It is in that place of abiding, trusting Jesus as the Son of God and walking in His ways, that we experience His peace and strength.

So I pray that the Lord will deliver your son from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. I pray that every deed of darkness hidden against him will be exposed and brought into the light, for light makes manifest what darkness tries to hide. I pray that the Lord will surround him with His angels, that He will fill him with peace that guards his heart and with strength for each day, and that he will know he is not alone.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Your Son, we lift this son to You. Place Your hand of protection over him. Expose what needs to be exposed, bring truth into the light, and stop every work of harm against him. Surround him with Your presence, guard him by Your angels, and fill him with Your peace and strength. Draw him close to Jesus, that he may know Your love and walk in truth, and keep him safe in Your care. Amen.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for your son.

We have continued to lift him before the Heavenly Father, asking for His hedge of protection to remain around him and to deliver him from every form of abuse whether physical, emotional or spiritual. We have prayed that the Lord would expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light as Ephesians 5:11 teaches, and that He would surround him with His angels and fill him with His peace and strength. We stand on the promise of Psalm 91:11 that He will command His angels concerning him to guard him in all his ways and Psalm 34:7 that the angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and delivers them.

We pray now in Jesus Name that the Father would continue to cover your son, guard his body, mind and spirit, let no weapon formed against him prosper, and let Your perfect peace guard his heart and Your strength sustain him each day.
