Heavenly Father, I pray Your hedge of protection around my son ###, deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light. Surround him with Your angels and fill him with Your peace and strength, in Jesus name Amen

We join with you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace and we stand in agreement for his protection and deliverance. Your heart as a parent crying out for your child reflects the heart of our Father who watches over His children without ceasing.

We are reminded of the promises of God for those who trust in Him. For he will give his angels charge over you, to guard you in all your ways Psalm 91:11. The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them Psalm 34:7. And we know that no weapon that is formed against you will prevail Isaiah 54:17. The Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3.

We also take seriously your prayer to expose the deeds of darkness. Scripture commands us to have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them Ephesians 5:11. What is done in secret and harms the innocent, God will bring to light, for there is nothing hidden that will not be revealed Luke 8:17. We rebuke every form of abuse whether physical, emotional, or spiritual, for such acts are evil and contrary to the love and righteousness of God. A child is a gift from the Lord and is to be cherished, protected, and raised in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

We also want to encourage you to continue to intercede, but also to take every practical step to ensure his safety. If he is in danger, do not hesitate to seek help from trusted godly authorities, counsel, and where necessary the proper authorities God has ordained to protect the vulnerable Romans 13:4. Keep documenting, keep speaking truth, and keep surrounding him with a community of faith that will affirm his worth in Christ.

We pray together now.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our only mediator and Savior. We thank You that we can approach Your throne with confidence through Him. We lift up this precious son to You and ask for Your hedge of protection around him. Cover him under Your wings where he may take refuge Psalm 91:1. Deliver him from every form of abuse and oppression. Break the power of those who would harm him and let no harm overtake him. Expose every deed of darkness that has been hidden and bring truth and justice to light according to Your perfect will. Surround him with Your holy angels, guarding him day and night, and fill his heart with Your peace which surpasses all understanding Philippians 4:7. Strengthen him with Your might, for You have said fear not, for I am with you. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Restore to him joy, safety, and the assurance that he is deeply loved by You and by his parent who prays so faithfully for him. Lead this family in wisdom to know every right step to take for his welfare. We ask all this in the powerful and saving name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Thank you for lifting your son to the Father with such love. We can hear your heart for him to be safe, seen, and at peace, and we are honored to stand with you in prayer.

It is heavy to carry concern for a child facing harm you cannot always see or stop. Wanting a hedge of protection around him and for darkness to be brought to light is a good and loving prayer. Please know you are not alone as you keep watching over him.

One steady step that often helps is to keep creating safe, calm space for him to talk when he is ready, letting him know he is believed and loved no matter what he shares. If you are seeing signs that he may be unsafe, it can also help to talk confidentially with a trusted pastor, counselor, or other caring professional who can help you think through next steps for his safety and support you as you support him.

Father, we bring this son before You. Surround him with Your presence and keep him safe from harm. Give him peace that steadies his heart and strength for each day. Give his parent wisdom, discernment, and faithful helpers nearby. Bring what is hidden into the light in Your way and time, and lead this family toward healing and wholeness. In Jesus name, Amen.

Your prayer for your son has been heard and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace.

We entreat the Lord who is gracious and who says, Deliver him from going down to the pit, for I have found a ransom. There is a ransom found in the bosom of God Himself, His only begotten Son who bore the penalty for sinners, and in that great price there is deliverance from every pit, from the power of darkness and from the assaults of the enemy. What man could not have devised, God has provided, and He has given commandment to save. He is able to save from sin, from Satan, from evil company and from all that would seek to harm the soul.

We pray as you have prayed, that the Father would set a hedge about your son and keep him in all his ways. May the Lord deliver him from every form of abuse, whether of body or of soul, and translate him more and more into the kingdom of His dear Son, where there is safety and light. We ask that the Lord would expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light, for nothing is hidden that shall not be made manifest, and that He would give charge to His angels concerning him to keep him. May the peace of God which passes all understanding guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and may strength be given to him day by day.

Be comforted to know that affliction does not spring out of the dust, but the Lord Himself sits as a Refiner by the furnace. Even when trouble comes through the hands of men, it passes under His sovereign hand, and He will make it to work for good to those who are His. He will not suffer His child to be tried above that he is able to bear, and He will turn the sorrow into a testimony, that your son may live and declare the works of the Lord.

So we pray: Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, place Your hand upon this dear son. Cover him, keep him from presumptuous sin and from the sin of others against him, cleanse and guard him, let no weapon formed against him prosper, and fill him with Your Holy Spirit that he may know he is kept by Your power. Let him know Your nearness, Your comfort and Your deliverance, and bring him into perfect peace as he trusts in You. We ask this not because we are worthy, but because You have found a ransom, and for Jesus sake. Amen.

Your prayer for your son is heard and we join you in lifting him before the Father in the name of Jesus Christ. We ask God to place His hedge of protection around him and to deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional or spiritual. We pray that the Lord will expose every deed done in darkness and bring it into the light, for nothing is hidden from His sight, and that He will surround your son with His angels and keep him in His care.

We ask that God will fill him with His peace that passes understanding and with strength for each day, and that he will know deeply that he is loved and valued as a child for whom Christ gave His life as a ransom. The Lord who became man that we might be made sons of God knows our weakness and is near to those who suffer, and He is able both to deliver from evil and to give the grace of adoption and comfort.

We pray also for you, that God will give you wisdom, courage and peace as you love and care for your son, and that He will guide you to the right help and support as you seek his safety and wellbeing.
