We lift up your precious son to the Lord with heavy hearts, standing in the gap for his protection and deliverance. Father God, we declare Your sovereignty over his life and ask that You would indeed place a hedge of protection around him, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Your Word assures us in Psalm 91:11-12, "For he will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands, so that you won’t dash your foot against a stone." Lord, we claim this promise over , that Your angels would encamp around him, shielding him from every form of harm and abuse.
We also pray that You would expose every hidden work of darkness in his life. Ephesians 5:11 tells us, "Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even expose them." Father, we ask that You would bring to light any schemes of the enemy, any ungodly influences, or any relationships that seek to harm him. Let Your truth prevail, and let justice be served according to Your righteousness.
We rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and oppression that may be trying to take root in his heart. Instead, we pray that You would fill him with Your perfect peace, as Isaiah 26:3 promises, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you; because he trusts in you." Strengthen him with Your might, Lord, and remind him daily of Your unfailing love and presence.
Father, we also ask that You would draw closer to You. If he does not yet know You as his personal Lord and Savior, we pray that You would reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way. John 14:6 declares, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let him come to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). Surround him with godly mentors, friends, and influences who will point him to You.
We stand on Your Word, Lord, and declare that no weapon formed against shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to intercede for your son daily, trusting in God’s promises. If there are specific situations or people you are concerned about, bring them before the Lord in prayer, and ask Him to give you wisdom and discernment. Stand firm in faith, knowing that God is your son’s ultimate protector and defender. May the Lord bless you and your family as you seek Him together.
