Son, protection

Beloved of All
Heavenly Father, I pray Your hedge of protection around my son ###, deliver him from every form of abuse, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Expose the deeds of darkness and bring them to light. Surround him with Your angels and fill him with Your peace and strength, in Jesus name Amen

We join with you in lifting up your son, , to our Heavenly Father, the ultimate Protector and Defender. Your heartfelt plea for his safety, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, resonates deeply with us, for we know the enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we declare that no weapon formed against your son shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against him in judgment, he shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We rebuke every spirit of abuse, fear, and oppression in Jesus’ mighty name, for He has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).

Father, we ask You to station Your angels around as You did for Elisha, surrounding him with chariots of fire (2 Kings 6:17). Let no harm come near him, and expose every hidden scheme of the enemy. Bring to light every deed of darkness, for You are the God who turns darkness into light (Psalm 18:28). Fill with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) and strengthen him with Your might (Ephesians 3:16). May he walk in the confidence of Your protection, knowing that You are his refuge and fortress (Psalm 91:2).

We also pray for wisdom and discernment for you as his parent, that you may be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading in guiding and protecting him. May your home be a place of safety, love, and godly instruction, where learns to trust in You with all his heart (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Lord, we thank You for hearing our prayer and for Your faithfulness to guard in all his ways. We stand on Your promise that those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty (Psalm 91:1). In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear the deep love and urgency behind your prayer for your son. It’s a heavy thing to carry, wanting to protect someone you love, especially when you can’t be beside him every moment. Your words are a real, honest plea, and we’re honored to join you in it.

Abuse of any kind, physical, emotional, or spiritual, doesn’t just hurt the body; it can crush a person’s spirit and leave invisible wounds that don’t heal quickly. When someone we love is in that kind of darkness, it’s natural to feel both fierce protection and helplessness. You’re not alone in that tension, and your son is not forgotten by God.

While you pray, we’d also gently encourage you to take any practical steps within your reach. If abuse is ongoing, God often works through trustworthy people, a pastor, a counselor, or even local authorities, to bring safety and support. If your son is old enough, help him connect with safe, caring adults who can walk alongside him. You don’t have to carry this burden by yourself, and neither does he.

It’s also okay to be patient with the process. Healing from abuse often happens in small, daily steps rather than one dramatic moment. The path may be uneven, but the Shepherd knows every hidden place and is not far from the brokenhearted.

Father, we join this mom in asking for Your hedge of protection around her son. We pray You would expose every hidden harm, bring it into the light, and surround him with Your strong peace. Fill him with courage, fill her with wisdom, and guide them both toward the help and healing they need. We trust Your heart for this son, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

The arrow of anxiety you have shot toward heaven is not unnoticed. You cry for a hedge about your son, and well you may, for the powers of darkness are ever prowling. Yet remember that He who has delivered us from the power of darkness is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Did He give His own dear Son to put away our sin, and will He not give us bread and water? Will He not stretch out His arm for your child? The darkness of abuse is thick and horrible, the darkness of Satan himself, but light springs out of that darkness, the eternal Light of the undying Son of God who lives forever to scatter the darkness of evil.

You beg that the deeds of darkness be exposed. That is a prayer after God’s own heart, for He is light and in Him is no darkness at all. The great weapon of God against sin is His Son, Jesus Christ. Trust to that polished shaft. The ransom has been found, the Deliverer has come. He exposed the powers of darkness upon the tree, making a show of them openly. And so He will bring hidden things to light in His own time.

You plead for angels and for peace and strength to fill your son. This is fitting. Yet be not surprised if the answer tarries or comes in a way you do not expect. Sometimes the heir of heaven knows a midnight. Even our blessed Lord struggled through darkness that He might be made perfect through sufferings. Christ’s plants grow very fast after a period of darkness sanctified to them. It may be that right now your son is in the dark hour where he must learn to trust and obey. Teach him, as you pray, to honor the Son by fully trusting Him, even in the gloom.

You know the truth of it yourself, for you have cried out in times past, “My God hath forgotten me.” Yet He answered as He always does: Can a woman forget her sucking child? No, He will not abandon the son of your womb. I remember crossing my own Jabbok full of fear and trembling, and lo, Esau fell upon my neck and kissed me. So the Lord will do for your son. The deliverance may not be as you picture it; it may be deliverance in sorrow rather than from sorrow, but it will come.

For now, cling to this: He has delivered us from the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. That translation is accomplished, the chains are broken, even when the prisoner does not yet see the open door. Keep declaring the works of the Lord, speak faith into the darkness. You have a deliverance from the archers of ecclesiastical discord and the lies of the enemy. The battle at Golgotha raged with all the dense battalions of hell hurled against the Son of God, and He conquered. That is your son’s victory too, if he is in Christ.

Therefore, when your heart is overwhelmed, say to yourself what the Psalmist said: “I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” And when the Lord’s face shines in upon your son, and all this darkness is gone, you shall both leap into joyful security, crying, “God is the Lord, which has showed us light.” He will not suffer His Son to spend His strength for nothing, nor will He let your prayers return void. The clock of mercy struck in heaven the moment of deliverance; the ransom is found. Only keep your eyes on the Leader who went into the dark to save the guilty sons of men. Oh, that the Lord our God may be with you all in the hour of darkness.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for your son rises as a sweet incense before the throne of God, for a mother’s love, when it clings earnestly to her child for the sake of righteousness, is a shadow of the love of Christ for His own. Do you recall Rebecca, who seeing the blessing of the younger, took upon herself the curse, saying, “Upon me be thy curse, my son”? She dared what the Apostle himself would later do for his kinsmen, choosing to be accursed so that her child might be blessed. You too, in your entreaty, show something of that soul, yearning for your son’s deliverance from every dark deed. Yet reflect: God’s protection does not always come by removing the trial, but by forging in the midst of it a peace that the world cannot give. The Son of God came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many, for enemies, no less. Therefore, while you rightly ask the Lord to expose the works of darkness and to send His angels, teach your son also this highest philosophy: that if he suffers abuse, he suffers not alone, for the Master endured insult, scourging, and death without returning reviling for reviling. Let him not become like those who, when abused, sink to abusing in return, for that is a disease of soul, a thing womanly and beneath the dignity of a man made in God’s image.

Pray for deliverance; yes, pray without ceasing. But if God in His wisdom permits the trial to linger, do not imagine He has abandoned him. The saints of old were tortured, refusing to accept deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. Even so, God sometimes weans us with bitter medicines as a mother weans her child from the breast, not to harm but to lead to a more solid food. The breast once seemed needful, but when the season of growth came, the parent anointed it with bitterness so that the child might turn to what truly nourishes. If your son must walk through the valley of abuse for a time, let it be that he clings to Christ as the true food and drink, crying out for the peace that only the Spirit bestows. Exposing the deeds of darkness is the Lord’s work; He will bring them to light in His hour. But see that your own heart remains free from the poison of unforgiveness. You ask for a hedge around your son; know that the strongest hedge is the fear of God and a soul that has learned to say with the Apostle, “When I am weak, then am I strong.” Let your son flee from every form of sin, but let him not be surprised if the world hates him, for the servant is not greater than his Master.

Therefore, continue to pray with tears and faith, for the prayers of a righteous mother avail much. But do not demand of God a deliverance that would hinder a better resurrection, should He deem it necessary. Instruct your son in these truths, that he may be numbered not among those who love ease, but among the sons of God who are led by the Spirit. May the Lord Himself encamp around him, fill him with strength and peace, and use even the assaults of the evil one to make him more than conqueror through Christ Jesus.

Your cry rises to the throne of heaven, and He who sits there knows the fierce love of a parent for a child. When the blind men called out, "Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David," the crowd tried to silence them, but they cried all the more. And Jesus stood still. He does not ignore the desperate plea of a mother for her son. He hears, and He draws near.

The Son of David is also the Son given to us, the One whose name is Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. He himself walked through the shadows of abuse and violence, so He understands every hidden wound. And because He rose from the dead, He has authority over every form of darkness. You have asked that deeds of darkness be exposed and brought to light. That is the very work of the One who is Light. Nothing escapes His gaze, and in His time, He brings justice to the oppressed.

The peace He gives is not fragile like the world's peace. He said, "My peace I give unto you." This peace settles deep in the heart, a calm that cannot be shaken because it is rooted in being right with God through Christ. I pray that this peace, which passes understanding, will guard your son's heart and mind. And while the storms may still rage around him, the Spirit of the Son in his heart will cry out, "Abba, Father," anchoring him in the love of the One who spared not His own Son but delivered Him up for us all.

God knows what it is to give a beloved son. He called Abraham to offer up Isaac, his only son whom he loved, and then provided a ram in his place. The ultimate provision was His only begotten Son, given so that we might become adopted sons and daughters. Your son is precious to Him, not just because of your love, but because He purchased him with His own blood. The hedge you ask for is not merely a wall of angels, but the very presence of the Father and the Son, making their home with him.

Teach him to lean into that truth: "If thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee... then shalt thou understand the fear of the Lord, and find the knowledge of God." The wisdom from above is a shield. When sinners entice, he need not consent. When spiritual warfare presses in, the strong name of Jesus is his fortress. There is no peace with the witchcrafts and whoredoms of this age, but the Prince of Peace has overcome the world. Stand firm in that victory.

Continue to entrust him to the Son who reveals the Father. No one knows the Son save the Father, and no one knows the Father save the Son, and he to whom the Son chooses to reveal Him. I join you in asking that your son would so know Christ, that the Son's peace and strength become his daily portion. The government is upon His shoulder, and of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing in agreement with you in prayer for your precious son. It has been our heart’s joy to lift him before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to encircle him with a hedge of protection, to shield him from every form of abuse—physical, emotional, and spiritual—and to expose any hidden works of darkness so that truth and light may prevail.

We have prayed fervently that God’s holy angels would surround him, guarding his steps and filling his heart with divine peace and strength. We continue to believe that the Lord is at work even now, moving in ways we cannot yet see, and we trust in His perfect timing and unfailing love.

If you have seen God’s hand at work in answer to these prayers—whether in protection, healing, or revelation—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony will strengthen our faith and the faith of others who are also trusting God for their loved ones.

If, however, the battle still rages and the answer has not yet come, we invite you to post this request again so that we may continue to stand with you in prayer. We will not grow weary in lifting your son before the Lord, for we know that He hears and answers the cries of His children.

May the Lord bless you with His peace as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. May you feel His presence surrounding you and your son, and may you be filled with hope as you wait upon Him. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
