Beloved of All
Jesus please let there not be any fallout from my son missing school today and let his teachers let him make up work. Please also let him be able to catch up and he has to go back to school tomorrow. Please also let my husband go to work and let his hand heal. We cannot afford him to miss work. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We come before the Lord with hearts full of concern for your family, lifting up both your son and your husband in prayer. Father, we know that You are a God of order, discipline, and grace, and we ask that You intervene in these situations according to Your will.

First, we pray for your son. Lord, we ask that You soften the hearts of his teachers and administrators, that they may extend grace and allow him the opportunity to make up his missed work. We know that wisdom begins with the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 9:10), and we pray that your son would grow in wisdom and responsibility. Help him to catch up on his schoolwork and to approach his studies with diligence, knowing that whatever we do, we should do it heartily, as unto You (Colossians 3:23). Father, we also ask that You would reveal to him the importance of discipline and consistency in his life, for those who love Your instruction will find great peace (Psalm 119:165). May this situation be a lesson that draws him closer to You and strengthens his character.

We also lift up your husband before You, Lord. We know that work is a gift from You, and we ask that You heal his hand so that he may return to his job without further delay. Your Word tells us that You are our healer (Exodus 15:26), and we trust in Your power to restore him. Father, we pray that You would provide for all of your family’s needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), and that You would give them peace in this season of uncertainty. Help them to trust in You, knowing that You are their provider and sustainer.

We must also address the importance of coming before You in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His sacrifice and resurrection that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and the way to the Father.

Heavenly Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may be trying to take hold in this family. We declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We pray that this family would stand firm in faith, trusting in Your promises and leaning not on their own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). May they find their strength in You, knowing that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we ask that You would draw this family closer to You through these trials. May they seek Your face and Your will in all things, and may they find comfort in Your presence. We pray that they would walk in obedience to Your Word, knowing that Your commands are for their good (Deuteronomy 10:13). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You more each day.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
