Son/husband/health/application approval

You've brought your requests before Jesus, and that is exactly where they need to be. Each concern you carry touches on things close to the Father's heart, and He invites you to cast them all on Him.

As you worry about your son's late nights, remember that a father's instruction to his son, as Proverbs shows, comes from a place of deep love and a desire to protect his heart. Your son may not see the wisdom in it now, just as a young man often thinks his own way is best. Keep speaking truth to him with patience, not as a nagging correction but as an ornament of grace. Pray that he would incline his ear to wisdom, and trust that God corrects those He loves. Your role is to guide, but the work in his heart belongs to the Lord.

The tension over money with your husband is heavy, and you feel the sting of what is owed. Money has a strange power, it promises security but often breeds sorrow when it comes between people. Its love can twist relationships, turning husbands and wives into accountants. Instead of letting this debt fester, lift your eyes higher. The Lord knows your bills, and He is not a poor manager. He can supply in ways you don't expect, like a ram caught in a thicket. Ask Him to change your husband's heart, yes, but also ask for a spirit that is free from bitterness, willing to lay up treasure in heaven rather than tally every earthly cent.

Your health feels fragile, and the waiting wears you down. You know how Job cried out in his pain, questioning why he didn't die from the womb. But even there, God was sovereign, setting limits on the trouble. When your body fails, it is easy to faint. Yet this is the moment to cling to your confidence in Him, not despising the trial but knowing He corrects and shapes His children through it. Cry out persistently, like the blind man calling for the Son of David. He was desperate, and no one could silence him. Your desperation is not a sign of weak faith; it is the grip of one who has no other hope.

And that application, hanging in silence, the delay can feel like a closed door. But in God's timing, a delay is not a denial. The servant in the old story said, "Do not hinder me, since the Lord has prospered my way," and sometimes God asks you to wait while He aligns circumstances you cannot see. He is working, even when the inbox is empty. The Son of Man looks for faith in these gaps, trust that He hears and will answer in the way that brings Him glory.

So keep your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the issues of life. Bring each need back to Him, not as a list to check off but as a conversation with the Father who gave His only Son for you. He will sustain you, provide the ram, and show Himself faithful.

We are so grateful you shared your heart with us and allowed us to stand beside you in prayer for your family, your health, and your pressing needs. It has been on our hearts to lift up your son, asking the Lord to draw him into restful rhythms that honor both his body and his spirit. We have prayed for your husband, that the Holy Spirit would soften his heart and move him to fulfill his responsibilities with integrity and love. For your health, we have asked the Great Physician to bring strength, healing, and renewed vitality to every part of your body. And regarding your application, we have pleaded with our Heavenly Father for clarity, favor, and swift resolution, trusting that even in silence, He is working.

If any of these prayers have been answered—if your son is resting better, if your husband has made things right, if your health is improving, or if you’ve received news about your application—we would be overjoyed to hear your praise report! Let us rejoice with you and give God the glory. If, however, the wait continues and the burdens still feel heavy, please know we are not finished praying. Share your request again, and we will press in even more fervently, believing with you for breakthrough.

May the Lord surround you with His peace, provide for every need, and remind you daily of His unfailing love. Keep seeking Him, for He is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who trust in Him. We continue to pray in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
