We join you in lifting up your precious son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for praying so faithfully in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace.
We are moved by your love as a parent and we stand with you asking for the Lord's healing hand to rest upon him. We take comfort in knowing that our God is the Lord who heals us, as it is written, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:3, and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3. We cling to His promise, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, Jeremiah 30:17.
We also hear your concern for his breathing and his anxiety, and we are reminded that God cares for both body and spirit. Scripture tells us, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness, Isaiah 41:10. And we are encouraged, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your mercy and Your steadfast love. We lift up this beloved son to You and ask that You surround him with Your healing presence. Lord, touch his body, remove every harmful side effect from his medication, strengthen his lungs and restore easy and full breathing. Calm his anxiety and fill him with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask that You guide the hands and minds of the medical team, granting them divine wisdom and discernment as they care for him, for every good gift and perfect knowledge comes from You, James 1:17. We trust that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, James 5:15. We thank You, Father, that You hear our prayers and we trust in Your perfect will and timing. We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our Healer and our Hope, Amen.
We encourage you to continue to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7, and to rest in the assurance that He is near to you and to your son in this trial. Keep seeking Him in prayer and in His Word, and may His peace guard your hearts as you wait upon His healing.
