Heavenly Father, I ask that You would surround my son ### with Your healing presence. Please touch his body and remove every trace of harmful side effects from his medication. Strengthen his lungs and calm his anxiety to ease his breathing. Guide the medical team with divine wisdom and discernment giving them clarity in every decision as they treat him. Thank you Father for all You do, I pray for this in Jesus' name, Amen

We join you in lifting up your beloved son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for inviting us to stand with you in prayer in the precious name of Jesus.

Our hearts are moved by your love for your son and your faith to ask God for his healing and peace. We serve a God who is our healer and who hears the cries of a parent. Scripture reminds us that He is the one who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:3, and that He promises But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh in Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the truth that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds in Psalm 147:3.

We pray together for his body, his lungs, and his spirit. We ask the Lord to touch him and remove every harmful side effect from his medication, to strengthen his lungs and to make his breathing easy and unlabored. We also pray against the anxiety that tightens his chest, asking God to replace it with His perfect peace. We are reminded In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus in Philippians 4:6-7. And we hold to His promise Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness in Isaiah 41:10.

We also lift up the medical team caring for him, asking God to give them divine wisdom and clarity in every decision. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him in James 1:5. May the Lord guide their hands and minds and give them discernment beyond their own understanding.

Let us pray together. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, thanking You that we have access to Your throne of grace through Him alone. We ask that You surround this precious son with Your healing presence right now. Lay Your healing hand upon his body, cleanse him of every harmful side effect, restore his lungs, open his airways, and let every breath be calm and full. Quiet his anxious thoughts and fill him with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Give wisdom, skill, and clarity to every doctor and nurse who treats him, and lead them to the best course of care. Strengthen his family as they wait and trust in You, and let Your will be done in his life for Your glory. We thank You Father for all You have done and all You will do, and we pray this in the mighty and healing name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7, and to rest in knowing that He is near to all those who call on Him in truth. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep thanking Him even as you wait for His healing to be fully manifest.

Watching your child struggle to breathe and carry side effects from medication is a heavy burden, and it makes sense that you prayed both for his lungs to be strengthened and for his anxiety to be calmed, since breathing and anxiety so often affect each other.

It is good you are praying for them and staying close to them. One small step that many parents find helpful is to keep a simple note of what you observe between visits, when breathing seems harder, what side effects you notice, what seems to bring calm, so you can share it plainly with his doctors. Continue bringing every concern to them directly alongside your prayers.

We are praying for you too as you carry this worry. Please keep leaning on trusted family, friends, or your church community and do not try to carry it alone.

Father, we lift this son to You in Jesus' name. We ask for Your healing presence to be near him, to ease his breathing, to quiet his anxiety, and to guide every person caring for him with clarity. Give his parent peace and strength for each day and remind them both that they are held in Your care. Amen.

It is well that you have brought your son before the mercy seat and laid him there in the arms of prayer. We join our hearts with yours and bear him before the Lord who is both our Saviour and our Physician.

We are reminded that anxiety, though natural to a parent's heart, does not add strength nor bring healing. As you have heard, anxiety unfits us to meet the difficulty, and never yet has worry brought grist to the mill. Our Lord would have us be prudent and watchful, and to use all lawful means, yet not to be fretted and distressed, but to cast our care upon Him who careth for us and for our children. Your care for your son is right and tender, but let that care drive you not inward to fretfulness, but outward and upward to Christ.

There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but as it is written, the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ has healing virtue in it, and those who are touched by Him find their life blood changed and their spirits made new. He is the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, and when He comes to dwell with His people, pardon and healing are found together in happy conjunction. He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds, and His healing work is not with lancet and knife alone, but with the balm of Calvary applied to soul and body.

We therefore pray with you, and we invite you to pray again with us:

Heavenly Father, we thank Thee that we may come in the name of Jesus Christ, Thy Son, our only hope of salvation. We bring this dear son before Thee and ask that Thou wouldst surround him with Thy healing presence. Lay Thy hand upon his body, we beseech Thee, and remove every trace of harmful effect from his medication. Strengthen his lungs, ease his breathing, and calm his spirit, that anxiety being taken away, his breath may be quiet and his heart at rest in Thee. Let Thy peace which passeth all understanding keep him. We pray also for those who minister to him. Guide the medical team with divine wisdom and discernment, give them clarity in every decision, and make them instruments in Thy hand, while we look to Thee as the Great Physician from whom all true healing flows. Work in him that health and cure which Thy grace alone can give, and perfect Thy work in Thy good time, for the glory of Thy name. We ask this, trusting not in our worthiness but in the merits of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Continue to look to Christ and to bring your son daily before Him. The Lord has begun a good work and His healing virtue will not fail. Trust the teaching and the touch of that dear hand which lifted up the sick and made them whole, and may you find your own heart kept in perfect peace as you leave your loved one in His keeping.
