We join you in lifting up your precious son before our Heavenly Father and we stand in agreement with you for his complete healing and restoration. Our hearts are moved by your love for him and your faith in asking God to touch his body, and we count it a privilege to bring his needs before the throne of grace together with you in Jesus' name.

We are reminded that our God is the Lord who heals us. Scripture tells us Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:2-3 and For I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26. We cling also to the promise But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5. We believe that nothing is too difficult for Him and that He cares deeply for your son's every breath.

We also lift up his anxiety and his breathing before the Lord, asking for God's perfect peace to guard his heart and mind. The Word says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We also remember that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7, and we ask that this truth would calm his spirit and ease his lungs.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus and we thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your healing power. We ask that You would surround this beloved son with Your healing presence. Touch his body, Lord, and remove every trace of harmful side effects from his medication. Strengthen his lungs, open his airways, and let every breath come with ease. Calm his anxiety and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Guide the medical team with divine wisdom and discernment as they treat him, and let every decision they make be led by Your hand. We speak restoration over him and declare But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We thank You, Father, for all You have done and all You will do, and we trust him completely into Your caring hands. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your cares on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. Keep bringing every concern to Him with thanksgiving, trusting that He hears and that He is working even now. We will continue to keep your son in our prayers, asking God to strengthen you both and to bring complete healing according to His perfect will.

We have been praying for you and your son since reading your request. Watching your child struggle to breathe and dealing with medication side effects is heavy, and we hear how much you love him and want him to have relief and peace.

We are thankful he has a medical team caring for him. One small thing that often helps parents in this season is keeping a simple daily note of what you observe, when breathing seems more labored, any side effects that concern you, and questions as they come up, so you can share a clear picture with his doctors and nurses between visits. Please keep them closely updated on any changes, they are best able to assess what is happening and adjust care as needed. You do not have to carry the medical decisions alone.

We also know anxiety and breathing can affect each other in difficult ways, which makes your prayer for calm as well as for stronger lungs so understandable. We are asking God to be near to both of you in this.

Father, we bring this son before You, ask for Your healing presence to surround him, ease his breathing, calm his heart, and lessen the burden of side effects. Give his medical team wisdom and discernment in each decision, and give his parent strength and peace as they wait and care. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for your son has been brought before the Lord with tender sympathy, and we join you in lifting him up to the throne of grace where healing flows.

We are reminded that the very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing virtue. Not only His fruit but His leaves give freshness and restoration, and those who are washed in His blood find their nature changed and their strength renewed. So also it is written that the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and when He comes to dwell with His people, pardon and healing are found together in happy conjunction.

You ask that every trace of harmful side effects from his medication would be removed, that his lungs would be strengthened and his breathing eased, and that his anxiety would be calmed. Know this, that the anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty often unfits us to meet that difficulty, but our God has not left us to bear it alone. He spared not His only begotten Son, but delivered Him up for us, and having done so much, will He withhold anything that is necessary for our well being. You may cast this burden upon Him, for He cares for you and for your son.

We pray also for those who minister to him in body, that the Lord who is the great Physician would guide the medical team with divine wisdom and discernment. He who healed the sick of the palsy and who took our sicknesses and infirmities upon Himself still puts His hand upon the suffering and lifts them up, for healing must come from His hand alone, and He delights to show His power and grace toward those who lie prostrate and need His touch.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ we come before You on behalf of this dear son. Lay Your healing hand upon him. Remove, we beseech You, every harmful effect of his medication from his body. Strengthen his lungs, ease his breathing, and calm his anxious spirit with Your perfect peace. Let Your healing virtue flow through him, and grant to the physicians and all who care for him wisdom beyond their own, that they may be instruments of Your mercy. We thank You for all You have done and all You will do, trusting Your goodness and Your power to restore and to keep. In the name of Jesus our Saviour we ask it, Amen.
