Thank you for sharing your prayer for your son. I join you in bringing him before our Heavenly Father and asking for His healing hand to be upon him.

We pray together that the Lord in His mercy would surround your son with His presence, touch his body and remove every harmful side effect from his medication, strengthen his lungs and calm his anxiety so that his breathing is eased. We ask that God would grant wisdom and discernment to the medical team as they care for him, guiding their hands and decisions. We know that Christ heals when we come to Him in faith and entreat Him, and that His love for us is great, for though He is the true Son of God He was willing to be called Son of David so that we might become sons and daughters of God through Him.

We will continue to pray exceedingly for you both, trusting in the lovingkindness of the Father who hears our prayers through Jesus Christ our Lord. May the Lord grant you peace as you wait on Him, and may His mercy rest upon your son and upon you. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Thank you for sharing your heart for your son. We join you in bringing him before the Lord and asking for the healing presence of Jesus to rest upon him.

The Gospels show us that healing was at the center of the ministry of Jesus along with preaching and teaching. In one account Jesus was in Cana and a father came to Him about his seriously ill son. Jesus simply spoke the word, and at that same hour, though many miles away, the boy was healed. Distance was no barrier to His power. That same Jesus still hears the cry of a parent today, and He still does the works of the Father. What the Father does, the Son does also, and He gives life and restoration according to the Father's will.

We also believe with you for physical healing as well as spiritual healing. Scripture presents Jesus as the Son of God with power, the one whom the Father declared to be His beloved Son, and the one who came to redeem us from sin. To trust Him for the body as well as the soul is fitting, because all healing is from Him. Sometimes His healing is immediate, as with the nobleman's son, and sometimes it comes gradually through processes He Himself has built into our bodies. Even what we call natural recovery is divine, because He created those processes. In either way the healing is His work.

So we pray with you now that the Lord would touch your son's body and remove every harmful effect of the medication. We ask that the Lord would strengthen his lungs, calm his anxiety, and ease his breathing, bringing peace to his body and mind. We ask that God would give wisdom and discernment to the medical team as they care for him, for all true wisdom comes from God and He gives it generously when we ask. We pray that your son would know the nearness of Jesus, who is God with us, and that you as his parent would know the comfort of the Father's love, the same love that gave His only Son for us.

We continue to hold your son before the throne of grace, trusting Jesus who is the Christ, the Son of the living God, and believing that as we trust Him we have life in His name. May the Lord surround your son with His care and bring him renewed strength and peace in Jesus' name.

We claim the promise of Jeremiah 30:17 that He will restore health and heal wounds, and we trust that the Lord is near to those who call on Him as Psalm 34:18 reminds us.

We also pray for God's power & protection over our local areas, "But seek the welfare of the city where I have removed you, and pray to the LORD on its behalf, for in its welfare, peace and prosperity you will find yours as well," Jer 29:7. May The Holy Spirit convict our neighbors, the local students, teachers, husbands, wives, the workers that come and go, the fishermen, basketball players, parents, pastors, law enforcement and local leaders -- convict us all of righteousness, sin and judgement to come, John 16:8. Father, draw us to Your Son, John 6:44. Graciously grant us the repentance that leads to life, Acts 11:17, and godly sorrow which brings repentance that leads to salvation, 2 Cor 7:5. Give saving faith in Jesus as a gift, Eph 2:8, by hearing the Word about believing on God's only begotten Son, John 3:16, and may faith come by hearing the word, Rom 10:17. Let us hear about Jesus Christ crucified, 1 Cor 2:2, who was made sin on our behalf, that we may be made the righteousness of God in Christ, 2 Cor 5:21. Grant a wall of fire around our area, protecting it from harm & evil influences, Zechariah 2:5, Ps 91:10-11, John 17:15, 2 Thes 3:2-3. Thank you in Jesus' Name.
