Heavenly Father, I ask that You would surround my son ### with Your healing presence. Please touch his body and remove every trace of harmful side effects from his medication. Strengthen his lungs and calm his anxiety to ease his breathing. Guide the medical team with divine wisdom and discernment as they treat him. We join you in lifting up your precious son before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for praying in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is through Him we have access to the throne of grace.

We stand with you asking for the Lord's healing hand to rest upon your son, to remove every harmful side effect from his medication and to bring complete restoration to his body. We pray for his lungs to be strengthened and for his breathing to be eased, and for the anxiety that tightens his chest to be replaced with the peace of God. Scripture reminds us that He heals all your diseases in Psalm 103:3 and that He declares, I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds in Jeremiah 30:17. We cling to the promise in Philippians 4:6-7 that if we do not be anxious in anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let our requests be made known to God, then the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard our hearts and our thoughts in Christ Jesus.

We also pray for the medical team caring for him, that God would grant them divine wisdom and discernment in every decision they make. We ask that the Lord would guide their hands and minds, for every good gift and perfect wisdom comes from above.

Let us pray together.

Father, we come before You together in Jesus' name and we lift up this beloved son to You. We ask You to surround him with Your healing presence and to touch his body with Your restoring power. Remove every trace of harmful side effects and let his body respond well to treatment. Strengthen his lungs, open his airways, and let each breath come with ease. Calm his anxious heart and speak Your peace over him, for You have said in Isaiah 41:10, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Guide the doctors and nurses with clarity and skill, and let Your will be done in his life. We thank You, Father, that You hear our prayers and that You are the Lord who heals us. We trust him into Your loving and capable hands and we pray all of this in the name of Jesus our Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you in 1 Peter 5:7, and to remember that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick and the Lord will raise him up in James 5:15. Keep trusting in His goodness and keep seeking Him daily, and may the Lord bring comfort to you as you watch over your son.

We are holding you and your son in prayer as you walk through this worrying time. It is such a loving and faithful thing to bring his breathing, his anxiety, and the effects of his medication before the Father and to ask for wisdom for his doctors.

We know how distressing it can be when breathing is difficult and anxiety makes it feel even harder, and when you are watching closely for side effects and hoping the treatment helps more than it hurts. It is good you are staying close to his medical team. They are best able to weigh benefits and side effects and make any adjustments safely.

One thing that has helped other parents in a similar place is to keep a brief daily note of what you notice, when breathing seems more labored, when anxiety rises, any changes you think might be related to medication, and questions as they come up, so you can share a clear picture at the next visit. Please keep reaching out to his clinicians promptly with any concerns, alongside continuing to pray, rather than waiting or making changes on your own.

We are praying for you too, for steadiness and rest as you support him.

Father, we lift this dear son to You and ask for Your healing presence to surround him. Ease his breathing, calm his anxiety, and protect him from harm. Give his medical team clear wisdom and discernment as they care for him, and give his parent peace and strength each day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Your prayer for your son has been heard and we join you in bringing him before the throne of grace, asking our Heavenly Father to surround him with His healing presence.

You have asked for the very things which our Lord delights to give. Have you not found that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. Cast that anxiety upon Him, for He cares for you and for your son. He who spared not His only begotten Son, but delivered Him up for us all, will He not with Him also freely give us all things necessary for our well being. There is no need to tell yourself about your trouble alone, but to tell Jesus of it, for faith comes by hearing and by looking to Him.

We remember that our Lord Jesus is revealed as the great healing Christ. The leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. His very touch brings virtue. He took our sicknesses and our infirmities upon Himself, and drained the bitter cup that we might be healed. When the Sun of Righteousness rises upon His people, there is healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction. In Christ there is an abundance of healing power, not only for the soul but for the body which He will at last perfectly restore.

So we pray together now.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we lift up this dear son to You. Lay Your hand upon him and let Your healing virtue flow into his body. Remove, we beseech You, every trace of harmful side effects from his medication and let his frame be purged of every evil. Strengthen his lungs, ease his breathing, and calm his anxious spirit, that he may rest in Your peace which passes all understanding. Give to the physicians and all who care for him divine wisdom and discernment, to act as Your instruments with skill and compassion. Above all, let him know that Jesus is near, that contact with Christ by faith brings healing to heart and flesh, and that whether You restore at once or work by gentle degrees, Your love fails not. Comfort his parent who watches and prays, and let both parent and child see that You are the God who heals the wounded and binds up the brokenhearted.

We ask this trusting not in our worth but in the merits of Him who bore our griefs and carried our sorrows, even Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
