Beloved of All
Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus to ask for Your healing touch upon my son. Lord, his esophagus is eroded and damaged and ask that You soothe the inflammation, heal the lining, and regulate acid in his stomach. I also pray for his lungs and respiratory system. I ask that You remove all blockage, heal any damage from infection, and open his airways completely so he can breathe deeply and without pain. Lord, I ask that You guide his doctors and bless his treatment. I trust in Your power to mend what is broken and restore him to full health, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, trusting in the mighty healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible assures us in Jeremiah 30:17, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal your wounds, says Yahweh." We stand on this promise, believing that God is able to restore your son completely.

Father God, we come before You with hearts full of faith, asking for Your divine touch upon this young man. We pray that You would soothe the inflammation in his esophagus, heal the damaged lining, and regulate the acid in his stomach. Lord, we ask that You would work mightily in his lungs and respiratory system, removing all blockages, healing any damage from infection, and opening his airways so he can breathe deeply and without pain. We declare Your word in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."

We also pray for wisdom and guidance for his doctors. Lord, grant them discernment and skill as they treat him. Bless the treatments and medications prescribed, that they would be effective and bring about complete healing. We trust in Your sovereign power, knowing that You are the Great Physician who can mend what is broken and restore health.

Heavenly Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity and sickness that may be afflicting this young man. We command it to leave in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5).

We encourage you to continue standing in faith, trusting in God’s promises. Keep praying and believing, for the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15). Surround your son with Your peace and comfort, Lord, and let him feel Your presence in a tangible way.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We join you in bringing your son before the Lord, and we hear the ache in a parent’s heart watching their child suffer. It’s a heavy thing to see someone you love struggle for each breath or swallow in pain, and we’re grateful you’ve reached out for prayer.

While we pray, we also want to encourage you in the practical care already underway. You mentioned his doctors, keep asking them the questions that press on your mind, especially if symptoms shift or new ones appear. Sometimes the most loving thing we do is simply show up as the steady presence who tracks the details, advocates in appointments, and reminds a son he isn’t facing this alone.

We’re also thinking about the load you’re carrying. When a child is ill, parents often pour everything out and forget they themselves need refilling. Let trusted friends or family step into the gaps with a meal, an errand, or just sitting with you for a while. If your church has a prayer team or small group, let them know you’d welcome their prayers over the coming days, not as a one-time notice but as a standing request people can return to with you.

Lord Jesus, we lift this son to You now. Calm the inflammation in his esophagus, bring healing to the damaged lining, and steady the acid in his stomach so his body can mend. We ask You to clear his airways completely, heal whatever infection has left its mark, and let him draw deep, pain-free breaths again. Give his doctors clear insight and steady hands. Sustain this parent with Your peace that outlasts every anxious thought, and hold this whole family close. We trust You as the One who knows every cell of this son’s body and loves him more than we can fathom. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The cry of a parent for a suffering child rises with peculiar urgency to the throne of grace, and it is good that you have brought this affliction to the Lord in the name of Jesus. There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation; not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the leaves, the very least things about Him, are full of healing virtue. The eroded flesh, the inflamed passages, the labored breath, none of these lie beyond the reach of Him who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. When He walked among us, there was not in the whole list of diseases one which the Savior did not heal, and His arm is not shortened today.

Yet observe how healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction; when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy, He first declared, “Son, be of good cheer; your sins are forgiven you.” Pardon and healing were one. From this I gather that the sick one, even as you plead for his body, must look to the Lord who heals the soul. The utmost length of human sickness can be reached by this great Physician, but the cure He prizes most is the cure of the sin-sick heart. Seek first the health that comes from the pardoning hand, the healing of the Tree of Life which changes the very lifeblood and makes the nature other than it was before.

It is the Word of God, applied by the Holy Spirit, that is the means of healing, for Christ Himself is the Word whom God has sent for the healing of poor sin-sick souls. Guide this dear son to rest under the shadow of the Cross, where even the leaves distill a balmy influence fostering the vigor of immortal health. Trust in the Lord’s power to mend what is broken, whether in lung or in spirit, and know that He who bore our sicknesses has compassion without limit. Only those who have been healed can fully tell of the Good Physician’s skill, and it may be that this trial shall become a testimony, restoring not only the body but strengthening many brethren through the joy of restoration. I pray the Sun of Righteousness rise upon him with healing in His wings.

You approach the throne of grace with a mother’s boldness, and rightly so. For when the body of a beloved child is afflicted, the soul of a parent pours itself out in supplication without shame, just as Rebecca was willing to be accursed that her son might receive the blessing. She did not calculate the risk; she considered only the need and the promise. Such is the love that you now bring before the Healer of souls and bodies. Do not draw back in timidity, thinking your request too great. He who condescended to be called Son of David so that you might become a child of God will not despise the cries of a mother interceding for her child.

Consider the blind men who followed Christ, crying out, “Son of David, have mercy on us.” The Lord did not rush to heal them in silence, but first asked, “Believe ye that I am able to do this?” They confessed their faith, and according to their faith it was done unto them. So now, your prayer is that faith made audible. You have not merely heard of His power from forefathers, as the Jews claimed to know what God spoke to Moses, but you have seen with the eyes of your spirit the works He still performs through the word of His grace. Hold fast to that conviction. Let no doubt dim the clear vision of His compassion.

Yet do not suppose that healing tarries because the illness remains. Sometimes the physician applies many remedies before the cure is visible, and the patient feels no change until suddenly the disease is broken. Ten strokes of the axe may seem to leave the tree standing, yet every blow works toward its fall. So too, every prayer you have uttered, every groan of your heart, every appeal to the Father in the name of Jesus, these are not lost. Even when the senses perceive nothing, the root is being loosened. The inflammation you lament, the damaged lining, the constricted airways, these are not hidden from the One who formed the inward parts.

Therefore, continue to cry out with perseverance, knowing that the Lord honors entreaty. He chose to heal many only after they had asked, so that no one might say salvation is given casually without our cooperation. Your son is precious, and the Good Physician does not neglect those who are brought to Him in faith. But remember, He who hears the commandments loves the Son and is loved by the Father. To hear His word is to trust His promises, and He has promised that whatever you ask in His name, believing, you will receive. This is not a hope built on shifting sand but on the rock of His own utterance.

Do not let the length of the trial provoke you to speak empty words like a gossiping woman who scatters what she does not believe. You have not done so. You have come into the presence of God as one hearing not men but God Himself exhorting you. Persist, then, as Rebecca persisted for Jacob, as Jonathan held fast to David though it cost him reproach. The love of a mother is a mighty advocate, and the Lord is not deaf to its voice. Present your son before the throne, entreat the common Master, and trust in His power not only to soothe and regulate but to restore and make whole. The same hand that mends the broken spirit can command the esophagus to be calmed, the lungs to be cleared, the body to be renewed. Only believe.

Your prayer for your son touches the very heart of what it means to love another, and I can only imagine how deeply you carry this burden. That kind of love is no small thing, it echoes the way the Father loves His own Son, a love so profound that heaven itself declared, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” When you cry out to God as a parent, you are speaking a language He already knows from eternity.

You come in Jesus’ name, and you are right to do so. Think of the official who traveled to Cana because his boy lay dying. Jesus did not even go with him; He simply spoke a word, and the child was made whole from miles away. That same authority has not faded. The centurion understood it too, he knew that all Jesus had to do was say the word and his servant would be healed. You are not asking a distant deity. You are asking the Son of God, the One who walked among the sick, carried their griefs, and still holds power over every cell and breath.

Healing can look different from one story to the next. Sometimes it breaks in all at once, like the fever that left Peter’s mother-in-law so completely that she rose and served. At other times, it comes through a slower, quieter path, a step-by-step recovery that is no less His doing. The body’s own God-given ability to mend, the wisdom given to doctors, the right treatment, the gradual easing of inflammation and the clearing of airways, these are not separate from His hand. When He created the world, He wove processes of restoration into our very frame. So we can ask boldly for a full and sudden miracle, and at the same time trust Him for the medicine and the steady work of healing that unfolds day by day.

I know you are watching your son struggle to breathe and swallow, and that helplessness is its own kind of pain. But remember whose Son Jesus is. He is the Son of David according to the flesh, a real man who understands human frailty, and He is the Son of God declared with power by His resurrection from the dead. Because He lives, every promise of life and restoration finds its yes in Him. You can lay your son at His feet with confidence, not only for his body but for his whole being, mind, emotions, and spirit. When you cannot see the outcome, the Son still sees your son, and the Father who did not spare His own Son for our sake will not be unmoved by your cry.

Take courage from this: the same voice that commanded the winds and the waves, that opened deaf ears and mended withered limbs, is the voice you have already called on in Jesus’ name. Keep asking. Keep trusting. And as you wait, know that nothing in your son’s body can hide from His care. I am joining my faith with yours that the Lord will soothe the damage, open his lungs fully, guide his medical team with clear insight, and restore him to wholeness. That is a prayer worth lifting until the answer comes, however it comes, because the One who hears is the Son of the living God.
