Beloved of All
Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus to ask for Your healing touch upon my son. Lord, his esophagus is eroded and damaged and ask that You soothe the inflammation, heal the lining, and regulate acid in his stomach. I also pray for his lungs and respiratory system. I ask that You remove all blockage, heal any damage from infection, and open his airways completely so he can breathe deeply and without pain. Lord, I ask that You guide his doctors and bless his treatment. I trust in Your power to mend what is broken and restore him to full health, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, where our Heavenly Father hears the cries of His children. Your prayer is rooted in faith, and we stand with you, believing in the power of Jesus’ name to bring healing and restoration. The Scriptures remind us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We declare this promise over your son, trusting that God is at work even now.

Father God, we come before You as a body of believers, united in prayer for this precious young life. You are the Great Physician, the One who knit this child together in his mother’s womb (Psalm 139:13-14), and You know every cell, every fiber of his being. We ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon his esophagus, soothing the inflammation, repairing the damaged lining, and restoring balance to his stomach. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his body as You bring wholeness where there is brokenness.

We also lift up his lungs and respiratory system, Lord. You breathed life into Adam, and Your breath sustains us all (Genesis 2:7). We ask that You clear every obstruction, heal every trace of infection, and open his airways so that he may breathe freely and without pain. Strengthen his body, Lord, and let Your healing power flow through him like a river of life.

We pray for wisdom and discernment for his doctors and medical team. Guide their hands, Lord, and let them be instruments of Your healing. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in You with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. We surrender this situation into Your hands, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear or doubt that may try to creep into this situation. We declare that Your perfect love casts out all fear (1 John 4:18), and we choose to stand on Your promises. We speak life over this young man, declaring that by Your stripes, he is healed (Isaiah 53:5). Strengthen his faith and the faith of his family as they wait on You.

Lord, we also ask that You draw this family closer to You through this trial. Let them experience Your presence in tangible ways, and may this season of waiting deepen their trust in You. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One through whom all healing flows. We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory that is already won. Amen.

Continue to stand on God’s promises, dear one. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2). He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20), and we believe He is moving even now on behalf of your son. May you feel His peace and presence surrounding you in this time.

We are lifting up your son with you tonight, asking God to bring relief to his esophagus and lungs. It is painful to watch someone you love struggle to breathe and eat comfortably, and we want you to know you are not carrying this alone. The burden you described, the erosion, the inflammation, the blocked airways, we bring each one before the Lord who knit your son together and knows every detail of his body.

As you keep praying, remember that healing belongs to God, and we lean into His power, not our own urgency or the intensity of our faith. He invites us to ask boldly and then to rest in His wisdom, whether He answers quickly or gradually through the doctors’ hands. The medical team’s guidance is part of His care, so we join you in asking that their judgment will be sharp, their hands steady, and their treatment plan effective.

In the waiting, may your son feel surrounded by peace that doesn’t depend on symptoms. And may you, his parent, find moments of calm even in the worry, a quiet confidence that God is present in every examination room and every night of uneasy sleep. Be kind to yourself, too; caring for an ill child wears on the spirit, and you need sustenance for the road.

Let’s pray:

Father, we come with this mom and place her son into Your hands. Soothe the damaged tissue, calm the acid, and open his airways so he can breathe freely. Give his doctors wisdom and his treatment success. Surround this family with Your comfort, and let them sense Your nearness in every step. We trust You for complete restoration, in Jesus’ name. Amen.

How precious it is that you have come with this burden straight to the throne of grace, pleading the name of Jesus! There is no better place for a wounded soul, nor for a sick body, than at the feet of Him who bore our sicknesses and carried our sorrows. You have done well to lay hold of the Great Physician, for in Him is abundant healing. The very leaves of that Tree of Life which is Christ are for the healing of the nations, and if the leaves possess such virtue, what must the fruit be, and what the heart of the tree itself! Take heart, then, that even the least touch of His garment brings wholeness.

You have asked for His healing touch upon your son’s esophagus and lungs, and you have done rightly to bring these specific needs before Him. Remember that He who made the intricate passages of the throat and the delicate fabric of the lungs can with a word restore them. When He walked the earth, He linked the healing with the teaching, and often pardoned sin to show that all healing flows from His reconciling work. The same Lord who said, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee,” then bade the palsied man arise. Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction; both come from the same pierced hand. Trust then that His power to mend what is broken is undiminished, and that He who bore the cruel burden of sin can lift the inflammation and open the blocked airway.

Do not grow weary in waiting. The healing power is conspicuously present wherever Christ is set forth, and you have set Him forth in your prayer. It may be that the Lord will use means, guide the doctors, bless the remedies, or He may speak directly and the feverish damage shall flee. In either case, the Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings. Lay your son, as it were, at the Saviour’s feet, where hope rises and the soul looks for all its help from Him alone. The Lord Jesus took our infirmities upon Himself; that bitter cup of suffering was drained by Him, that our afflictions might be conquered. Therefore plead that substitutionary work, and rest not in your own understanding but in His faithful promise.

Yet I would press this upon you: as you seek bodily healing, see that the soul’s healing is the greater prize. Sometimes the Lord permits the body to ache that the spirit may cry out for Him. But whether the outward frame is mended speedily or more slowly, be assured that His grace is sufficient, and His strength made perfect in weakness. He who forgives all our iniquities also healeth all our diseases, though the timing belongs to His wisdom. Continue to bring this son before the mercy seat, believing that the Lord’s ear is not heavy that it cannot hear. The desire to minister arises out of healing, and when the Lord raises him up, what service and gratitude will flow! Till then, cast this care upon Him, for He cares for you. May the Holy Spirit apply the healing leaves of Calvary’s tree to both body and soul, and may you soon testify to the restoring power of the risen Lord.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer rises with the cry of the blind men who called out for mercy alone, and such earnestness is not lost before the throne of God. He who deigned to call Himself Son of David that you might become a child of God has taught you to pray without ceasing, not because He needs your prayers, but to lead you onward, that you may apply yourself to this holy work soberly and with great watchfulness. So pray exceedingly, night and day, with the longing of Paul to see the evidence of God’s work perfected.

Yet take care that you do not confide in the word of prayer only and render yourself unworthy of the blessing you seek. The things you wish to obtain from God, you must first impart to your neighbor. If you would taste divine mercy for your son, show mercy to those around you, for blessed are the merciful, and to the unmerciful judgment is without mercy. A prayer that rises from a life negligent in little and great things, even when it asks for healing, gains no strength if it is not joined to deeds worthy of blessing. Do not say within yourself, “What need have I of another’s prayer?”, for even Paul did not say this, but begged the prayers of the saints. You need the prayers of the Church, yes, but you must also be on the alert yourself, lest you sleep and perish even with that help.

Let your petition therefore be the voice of the Spirit within you, bearing witness with your spirit that you are a child of God and an heir of His mercy. When the Spirit teaches you to speak, who can doubt your dignity? Yet remember Nathanael: he spoke true words but with an imperfect understanding, calling Christ the King of Israel alone, not yet grasping Him as the Son of God over all the world. Do not make your prayer small by a shallow faith, but believe that the One who opens airways and restores tissue is the very Son of the Unoriginate God, who works all things of His own authority with the Father. Heal according to Your will, but let my life bear the fruit of obedience, for he who hears not His commandments loves neither the Son nor the Father. Then shall your prayer for your son be a sweet and potent cry.

Your prayer for your son rests on the sure foundation of who Jesus is. When we come before the Father in His name, we are not pleading with a distant deity. The Son, who dwells in the bosom of the Father, has made Him known. He is the One like the Son of Man, clothed in majesty yet gentle with our frailty. Jesus knows every inflamed tissue, every labored breath. His eyes, like a flame of fire, see the damage others cannot. His heart is moved.

Whatever we need, Jesus becomes. For your son, He is the healer. He can soothe what is raw, restore what is eroded, and open airways that have been constricted. The same power that raised the widow’s son and called Lazarus from the tomb is at work today. Those miracles were not merely past events; they reveal that Jesus has authority over the body. He may use doctors, treatments, and time, but the healing itself flows from His hand. So you can ask boldly, trusting His character.

While you wait, remember that true fellowship is with the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. That fellowship carries a fullness of joy that circumstance cannot steal. Even in this trial, your union with Him is unshaken. He is your righteousness, your provider, your Savior. The same Jesus who ascended will one day return, and we will stand before the Son of Man in resurrected bodies free of all decay. That future hope does not diminish your present cry; it anchors it. Pray always, as He taught, that you and your household would be accounted worthy to escape the things to come and to stand before Him, not in fear, but in the confidence of His finished work.

I join my faith with yours, asking the Lord to guide every medical decision, to calm the acid and inflammation, to clear the lungs and respiratory system completely. May your son breathe deeply without pain, and may this season deepen your reliance on the One who never fails.
