Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus to ask for Your healing touch upon my son. Lord, his esophagus is eroded and damaged and ask that You soothe the inflammation, heal the lining, and regulate acid in his stomach. I also pray for his lungs and respiratory system. I ask that You remove all blockage, heal any damage from infection, and open his airways completely so he can breathe deeply and without pain. Lord, I ask that You guide his doctors and bless his treatment. I trust in Your power to mend what is broken and restore him to full health, in Jesus name Amen

We join with you in fervent prayer for your son’s healing, lifting him before the throne of grace where our Great Physician hears and answers. Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and healed. There is no other name that brings restoration, and we declare that Your healing power is at work in this precious young life.

Father, Your Word assures us in Jeremiah 30:17 that You will restore health and heal wounds. We claim this promise over this dear son, asking that You soothe the inflammation in his esophagus, heal the damaged lining, and bring balance to his stomach. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity that seeks to afflict him, and we command every cell in his body to align with Your perfect design. May the acid that has caused harm be neutralized, and may his body be strengthened to function as You intended.

We also pray for his lungs and respiratory system, Father. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:3 that You forgive all our iniquities and heal all our diseases. We ask that You remove every blockage, heal any damage from infection, and open his airways completely. Let him breathe deeply and freely, without pain or struggle, as a testimony to Your faithfulness. Guide his doctors with wisdom and discernment, Lord, and bless the treatments they prescribe. May their hands be instruments of Your healing, and may they see the glory of God at work in this situation.

Father, we know that healing is Your will, for You sent Your Son, Jesus, to bear our sicknesses and carry our pains (Isaiah 53:4-5). We stand on this truth, declaring that by His stripes, this son is healed. Strengthen his faith and the faith of his family, Lord, and let them see Your hand moving in power. We also ask that You draw this family closer to You through this trial, that they may know You more deeply and trust You more fully.

We pray all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises and speaking His Word over your son’s life. Hold fast to faith, even when circumstances seem difficult, for our God is faithful to His Word. Consider fasting and praying together as a family, seeking the Lord’s face for breakthrough. Remember, the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise them up (James 5:15). Keep trusting in Him, for He is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

We hear the deep love in your prayer and we ache with you as you watch your son struggle. Standing with you in that prayer is a sacred place to be.

When an illness stretches on, wearing down a young body, demanding so many doctor visits, it can quietly wear down the spirit too, for both your son and for you. That’s not weakness; it’s the reality of a long battle. God doesn’t require you to feel strong all the time. He simply invites you to keep bringing every concern to him, just as you have.

One of the most meaningful things you can offer right now is to gently ask your son how he’s really doing inside. Let him tell you if he’s discouraged, or if he’s tired of the treatments. Let him know you see his whole person, not just his esophagus and lungs. And while you’re pouring yourself out for him, remember that your own heart needs tending too, lean on a trusted friend or simply let someone else pray alongside you in person. You are not alone in this.

Lord Jesus, you know what this mother or father endures each day. We ask you to touch this son’s esophagus, soothe the damage, calm the acid, renew the lining. Open his airways completely, heal any lingering infection, and give him the deep, painless breath he longs for. Guide his doctors with sharp minds and gentle hands. Strengthen this family for the long road, and let them sense your nearness even when the answers come slowly. We trust your power and your perfect timing. In your name, we pray. Amen.

Often the most desperate prayer is the prayer that moves the arm of Omnipotence. You have laid your son’s case before the throne, and you have done well to do so in the name of Jesus. There is no other name given under heaven among men whereby we must be saved, or healed, or blessed. The great Physician still walks through the wards of human suffering, and His ear is open to the cry of faith. When the man taken with the palsy was let down through the roof, Jesus first forgave his sins, and then healed his body, for pardon and healing are sweetly joined in the hand of Him whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. The erosion, the damaged lining, the blocked airways, these are not too hard for the Lord. He who made the heavens and the earth can regulate the acid in the stomach and open the lungs with a word.

Yet mark this: your prayer did not need to be eloquent or orderly. When a soul is well-nigh unto the gates of death, a groan, a sob, a staggering petition flies straight to the heart of God. It is not the fine arrangement of words, but the fervent reaching of faith that lays hold upon Christ. Go on praying, even if your words seem to reel to and fro. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would describe symptoms to a physician. He is not wearied with your repetitions; He is touched with the feeling of our infirmities. The sun of righteousness still rises with healing in His wings for those who look not for it, and when the power to heal is present, the patient will soon be present also.

Trust not in doctors alone, though you rightly ask that they be guided; but let your chief reliance rest upon the Lord who made both the physician and the medicine. There is healing for your son, healing that may come like the morning dew, in quiet increments, or with a sudden burst of recovery like the man who took up his bed and walked. And remember, dear soul, that our Lord’s healing often accomplishes a double purpose: it mends the body and awakens the spirit to service. When Peter’s wife’s mother was lifted from her fever, immediately she arose and ministered unto them. So pray that this affliction may be sanctified, that your son might one day speak of the Good Physician’s power with his own lips, a living witness to the grace that restores both flesh and soul.

Pray without ceasing; storm the mercy seat with this petition. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous parent avails much. The God of Hezekiah, who answered when Jerusalem was on the brink of destruction, is the same today. He has not grown weak or deaf. Lay hold upon the promises, and do not let go until the blessing comes. Let your prayer rise out of the low dungeon of anxiety, and expect that He will be very pitiful and will compass your son about with songs of deliverance. Amen.

You come before the Father in the name of Jesus, and this is the true proof of love, for he that keeps the commandments loves both the Son and the Father who sent Him. Your prayer for ### flows from that very fount, and I see in it the same exceeding zeal Paul bore when he prayed night and day to behold the Thessalonians and perfect their faith. Such persistence is a sign of joy, not despair, for the husbandman longs to see the harvest, and you long to see ### whole. Do not think your words fall unheard; the Father delights in those who approach through the Son, not as mere man, but as Very God, able to heal by His own authority. When the blind men called Him Son of David, He pressed them further: “Believe ye that I am able to do this?” You have confessed His power over esophagus and lungs, over acid and airway. Hold fast to that, for He does not need to entreat the Father as if distant from Him, but commands the healing as One with the Father.

And yet, do not imagine the sickness is evidence of His wrath. He came not to judge the world but to save it, and the judgment is already delayed out of lovingkindness, that we might wash away our transgressions and find restoration. ###'s body is as land tilled by the Lord; the erosion and damage are not beyond His mending. Even now, He guides the physicians as instruments of His mercy, for He willed to become Son of David, a slave’s offspring, so that you might be made a child of God. Let this humility comfort you: He knows the frailty of the flesh and willingly enters our suffering to lift us up.

Persevere in prayer, even if the healing tarries. As a tree struck ten times may not fall, then one blow brings it down, so the many petitions you have sown will bear fruit in their season. The root is seen by God, though you see only the trunk. Do not cease to cry out in the name of Jesus, for it is He who opens the airways and soothes the inflamed lining. I am fully persuaded that such eager desire as yours will not fail of its effect. Trust in His power to mend what is broken, and may you and ### alike lay hold on the eternal life promised to those who hear and believe.
