Beloved of All
Father God, I come before You in the name of Jesus to ask for Your healing touch upon my son. Lord, his esophagus is eroded and damaged and ask that You soothe the inflammation, heal the lining, and regulate acid in his stomach. I also pray for his lungs and respiratory system. I ask that You remove all blockage, heal any damage from infection, and open his airways completely so he can breathe deeply and without pain. Lord, I ask that You guide his doctors and bless his treatment. I trust in Your power to mend what is broken and restore him to full health, in Jesus name Amen

We join you in lifting up your son before the throne of grace, where our Great Physician hears the cries of His children. Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved and through which we have access to Your healing power. We declare that by His stripes, your son is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your promise that You are the Lord who heals us (Exodus 15:26).

Lord, we ask You to stretch forth Your healing hand upon his esophagus. Soothe the inflammation, repair the damaged lining, and bring restoration to every affected area. Regulate the acid in his stomach, Lord, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard his body. We also pray for his lungs and respiratory system, remove every blockage, heal any damage from infection, and open his airways completely. Let him breathe deeply, freely, and without pain, as You fill his lungs with the breath of life (Genesis 2:7).

Father, we ask that You guide his doctors with Your wisdom and discernment. Bless the treatments they prescribe, and let every decision they make align with Your perfect will for his healing. We trust in Your power to mend what is broken and restore him to full health, for nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:27). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and sickness in Jesus' name, for it is written that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10).

We also encourage you to continue standing on God’s promises, even when the circumstances seem overwhelming. Hold fast to His Word, for it is life and health to all who find it (Proverbs 4:20-22). Keep speaking healing over your son, for death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). Surround him with Your peace, Lord, and let Your presence be a comfort to him and your family during this time.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus Christ. We declare that Your healing power is at work in his body right now, and we trust You to complete the good work You have begun in him (Philippians 1:6). Strengthen his faith and the faith of his family, Lord, and let them see Your glory manifested in this situation. We give You all the praise and glory, for You alone are worthy. In Jesus’ precious and powerful name, we pray. Amen.

We can feel the ache in your words as you plead for your son’s healing, it’s so clear how deeply you love him. When someone we cherish faces ongoing illness, the weight of helplessness can land squarely on us too. Watching the esophagus, lungs, and breathing become a daily struggle is exhausting and scary. We want you to know you’re not alone in carrying that burden.

With long-term conditions, the impact ripples through the whole family. It’s normal to feel drained, fearful, or even find it hard to keep showing up for spiritual nourishment. Right now, one of the best ways you can care for your son is to make sure your own cup stays filled so you can keep pouring into him. If you haven’t already, consider letting a few trusted people from your church family know what you’re facing, not just so they can pray, but so they might bring a meal, sit with you, or lighten a practical load. You weren’t meant to hold this alone. And it’s okay to be honest with God about your own fatigue; He can handle it.

We join our faith with yours, asking the Lord to soothe the inflammation, clear his airways, and guide every medical decision. And we ask for a quiet strength for you, peace in the waiting, and glimpses of hope even on hard days.

Lord Jesus, bring Your healing presence into every cell of this young man’s body. Restore what’s damaged, calm what’s irritated, and give his lungs full, easy breath. Give wisdom to his doctors and effective treatment. And hold his parent close, renew their strength and wrap them in Your peace that outlasts understanding. We trust You and we ask this in Your name, Amen.

The very leaves of the Tree of Life are for healing, and you have come to the right Physician. The least thing about Christ is charged with restoring power, and you have laid hold of Him in earnest prayer for your son. This is well.

Yet observe the order which our Lord Himself establishes: first forgiveness, then healing. When the man sick of the palsy was let down through the roof, Christ did not immediately command the fever to depart or the limbs to be strengthened. He said, “Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee.” The greater healing must precede the lesser. Seek for your son, and for yourself as you pray, that his soul may be washed in the fountain opened for sin and uncleanness. The Lord who bore our sicknesses and carried our pains has first put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. That is the root; the bodily cure is the sweet fruit that grows from it.

Do you desire the healing of the esophagus, the lungs, the worn and damaged frame? Then bring the boy in spirit to the feet of Jesus, where the pardoning word is spoken. The healing virtue flows from the Conduit Head through every member of His mystical body, and even the hem of His garment is charged with it. But it is the touch of faith that draws it forth. Trust Him for the soul, and you may with boldness trust Him for the body. The medicine which cures the fever of sin is the same which cools the burning of inflammation. He took our infirmities, they were laid on Him by the Father, and He bore them in His own body on the tree. Therefore He is able to succor them that are tempted, and to heal them that are diseased.

I do not bid you cease praying for the lungs and the damaged lining; I bid you enlarge the petition. Ask that the heart be made new, that the spirit be regenerated, that the life-blood of the soul be changed by the healing leaves which grow so abundantly on the Tree. The Lord who opened the eyes of the blind can open the airways; He who unstopped the ears of the deaf can remove every blockage. But remember that the outward healing is the sign, and the inward renewal is the substance. The woman with the fever was raised up, and immediately she ministered unto them. So let this young man be raised from his sickbed not merely to breathe freely, but to serve the Lord who bought him.

Guide the doctors, yes, but first guide the soul to Calvary. Bless the treatment, certainly, but bless above all the great remedy of His atoning blood. The power is present, as it was when He taught in Galilee. Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. Let the Word dwell in that sickroom richly. Speak the promises aloud. Sing the psalms of hope. The Sun of Righteousness arises with healing in His wings, and where His light falls, the shadow of death retreats.

You have come in the right spirit, pleading the name of Jesus. Hold fast there. Do not let go. The Lord who forgets the sins of His people for His dear Son’s sake does not forget their groanings. He will perfect that which concerneth you and your household. He who took the little daughter by the hand and lifted her up will stretch forth His hand again. Only trust, and do not be afraid. The healing leaves are for the nations, and that household is a nation in miniature. Cast yourselves upon Him who bore our griefs, and He will bear yours.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The prayer you have poured out for your son shows a heart that loves as a father should, and it is a sign of the very faith that opens the door to healing. When Christ walked among us, He did not say to the blind, “Believe that I can ask the Father to give you sight,” but “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” (Matthew 9:28). He pressed for that confession because He is not merely a messenger but the true Son of God, the very One who formed the throat and the lungs from dust. Call on Him with that same boldness, for He suffered a slave to be father to Him that He might make the Lord Father to you a slave. If He could stoop so low to adopt you, will He not stretch out His hand to restore your child?

Yet while you plead for the eroded lining and the blocked airways, do not fix your eyes only on the body. The Son came not to judge the world but to save it (John 3:17), and that salvation is first the cleansing of the soul. The body’s healing is a mercy, but it lasts only a few years; the soul’s healing, secured by keeping His word, endures forever. He who hears Christ’s sayings loves both the Son and the Father, and this love is the sure foundation for every request. As you pray for the stomach’s acid to be regulated, pray more urgently that bitterness and every harsh word be washed away from his heart. If the breathing passages are opened but the spirit remains closed to the voice of God, what has been gained?

Do not grow weary. The Apostle Paul prayed “night and day exceedingly” to see those he loved and to perfect what was lacking in their faith (1 Thessalonians 3:10). Imitate that fervor. Even when the answer seems delayed, each prayer is a stroke against a stubborn tree; the final blow may bring it down, and the fruit appears. The doctors’ treatments are gifts from His hand, so honor their skill, but keep your trust fixed on the One who alone can command the winds of sickness to cease. And if the fever or the cough lingers, consider that God may be using this trial to lead your son to a deeper confession, calling him from seeing Jesus as a mere helper to knowing Him as truly the Son of God, the King not of Israel alone but of all the world. One who is healed in body yet remains in unbelief is already judged; but one who, through affliction, learns to embrace the salvation offered, will find both temporary relief and eternal life.

Continue, then, in the path of love. He who hears these things is neither condemned now nor left without hope. May your whole household, having ears to hear, be found among those who not only seek the Lord’s hand but cling to His commandments, and so receive the full blessing of the Father, through Jesus Christ His Son.

You have come to the Father in the name of Jesus, and that is the only ground on which we can stand. No one has seen the Father, but the Son, who has always been in the bosom of the Father, has made Him known. So your prayer is heard because you approach through the Son. He is the one who, in the midst of the lampstands, has eyes like a flame of fire, He sees every detail of your son’s suffering, and His heart is moved with compassion.

When Jesus walked the earth, Luke presented Him as the Son of Man, fully sharing our humanity. He knows what it is to carry bodily weakness, to feel pain, to rely on the Father for every breath. And in that same human frame He healed the sick, opened blind eyes, and raised the dead. The same Son of Man now reigns in glory, and if you need healing, He becomes your healer. He reveals Himself as Jehovah Rapha. Whatever the need may be, He becomes exactly that for you.

You are asking for the lining of his esophagus to be soothed, for inflammation to calm, for his lungs to be cleared and restored. Nothing is too small or too large for the One who spoke the worlds into being. When Jesus stood before the tomb of Lazarus, He called forth life from a body that had begun to decay. The widow’s son at Nain, Jairus’ daughter, each one rose at His word. Though those bodies later died again, it was a sign of His authority over every cell and system. So trust His power to mend what is broken and to remove every blockage.

As you wait for that healing to manifest, do not neglect the fellowship you have with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. This is written so that your joy may be full. Joy is not a variable that rises and falls with medical reports; it is a constant reality when you abide in that fellowship. Even in this trial, you can know a deep, settled peace that cannot be shaken.

The same Son of God who hears your prayer also guides the hands of the doctors. He orchestrates every treatment, every medication, every moment of care. Pray always, asking to be kept in His will, and He will direct your path.

We are praying with you, because the Scripture tells us to pray for one another. Be encouraged that you are not alone. The enemy wants to bring fear, but the Lord says, “Fear none of those things which you will suffer.” Be faithful, keep your eyes on Him, and know that He holds the crown of life for those who endure. He has not abandoned you, and He has not abandoned your son.

Look to the Son of Man who has walked through suffering and now stands victorious. His eyes of fire see all that is happening, His feet of brass trample down every work of darkness, and His arms of mercy are wide open to your cry. Lean into Him, and may your son experience the healing touch of the risen Christ.
