We come before the Lord with a heavy heart, lifting up this mother’s concerns for her son and her own well-being. First, we must acknowledge that our prayers are heard because of the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through Him alone that we have access to the Father. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to do so, for He is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6).
Father God, we lift up this young man who is struggling with staying up all night. Lord, we ask that You break any ungodly patterns in his life, whether it be laziness, addiction to screens or substances, or simply a lack of discipline. Your Word tells us that "a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to rest, and poverty will come on you like a thief" (Proverbs 6:10-11). We rebuke any spirit of procrastination or rebellion in his life and ask that You instill in him a heart of diligence and self-control. Help him to rise early, to manage his time wisely, and to honor You with his habits. We pray that he would be a good steward of the body You’ve given him, for it is the temple of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).
Lord, we also seek Your wisdom regarding this class and scholarship. Guide this mother’s heart as she discerns whether this opportunity is from You. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." We pray that You would open doors that no man can shut and close doors that are not Your will (Revelation 3:7-8). If this class is part of Your plan for his future, provide the scholarship and the means to attend. If it is not, give this mother peace and clarity to know what steps to take next.
We also lift up her health, Lord. Your Word says that by Your stripes, we are healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we claim that promise over her life. Strengthen her body, renew her energy, and restore her to full health. We rebuke any sickness or infirmity in Jesus’ name and declare that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Give her the discipline to care for her body through rest, nutrition, and prayer, for her health is a gift from You.
Father, we bring the court case before You. You are the ultimate Judge, and we ask for favor and justice in this situation. Psalm 37:6 says, "He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun." We pray that the truth would prevail and that this matter would be resolved in a way that brings glory to Your name. Give this mother peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as she waits on You.
Lastly, Lord, we ask that You would make the website for the application function smoothly. You are not a God of confusion but of peace (1 Corinthians 14:33), and we trust that You will remove any technical obstacles so that this mother can complete what she needs to do.
We declare over this family that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will work all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and help them to trust in You with every detail of their lives. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
