Please pray that I will be able to change my password soon on a certain social media website that I'm using to create a business. It's important I do so soon for my business. Please also pray God would bless my business. Thank you.

We have heard your request and we join with you in bringing this practical need before the Lord, for He cares about every detail of our lives, even the small technical matters that affect our daily work.

We know how frustrating it can be when something as simple as a password change stands in the way of important work, and we understand your desire to see your business protected and blessed. We are reminded of the encouragement in Proverbs 16:3, Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. And also Colossians 3:23, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. When we commit our work to Him and labor with integrity and diligence for His glory, we can trust Him with the outcome.

We also notice that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to gently and lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And we read in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If we have not yet put our trust in Jesus, we can do so by believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and confessing Him as Lord, as Romans 10:9 teaches, that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name that we pray and find favor with God, and we want to be sure you know this wonderful hope.

So together we pray for you now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We thank You for Your care and provision and for the work You have given to our friend to do. We ask that You would grant wisdom and favor as they seek to change their password on this social media platform. We pray that any technical hindrance would be removed quickly, that the process would go smoothly, and that their account and business would be kept secure. Give them patience and clarity as they navigate this, as James 1:5 promises, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

We also lift up this business to You, Lord. We ask that You would bless the work of their hands according to Your perfect will. May this business be built on honesty, diligence, and service to others, and may it honor You. We pray as in Psalm 90:17, Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us. Establish the work of our hands for us. Yes, establish the work of our hands. Provide for every need, open doors that no one can shut, and let this business be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. Help them to remember Deuteronomy 8:18, But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth.

We also bring their heart before You and ask that they would not be anxious, but would trust You in all things, as Philippians 4:6 teaches, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

We ask all of this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We ask our heavenly Father, from whom every spiritual blessing comes and from whom grace and peace flow through the Lord Jesus Christ, to grant you wisdom and favor as you seek to change your password and to establish this work. Your request has been brought before us and we are praying with you. We ask God to give you wisdom and help as you seek to change your password and secure what you need for your business, that the technical difficulty would be resolved soon and without further hindrance, and that you would be able to act with diligence and integrity in this work.

We also join you in asking for God's blessing on your business, and we want to pray for that blessing in the way Scripture teaches us to understand blessing. The Scriptures speak of a former kind of blessing that concerned earthly things, the fruit of the body and going out and coming in, but in Christ we are given every spiritual blessing. That means forgiveness, adoption as sons and daughters, righteousness, life with Christ, and hope that does not fade. These are greater than any material success, and they remain even when in this world we have tribulation. As one of the homilies reminds us, even those who received promises often did not see their full enjoyment in this life, but looked to what is to come, and learned to value what is spiritual over what is merely carnal.

So we pray not only for practical help with your account, but that God would bless your business by making it a place of honest work, service to others, and good deeds. May He guide your decisions, keep you from covetousness, establish the work of your hands as He wills, and use what He provides to do good and to show generosity. May He give you peace whether the outcome is immediate prosperity or patient endurance, knowing that all things are freely given to us in Christ.
