Praise be to God for His goodness toward you in this matter, and thanks be unto Him who preserves and restores such mercies as we require for our daily calling. It is well that you have made a note of this blessing and have not suffered it to pass without thanksgiving, for many receive mercies without making a note of them and God hears from them no song of gratitude.
Here you have a crowning mercy in your sphere calling for crowning gratitude. Let us come into His presence with the voice of joy and thanksgiving and with the inward emotions of a grateful heart. He who has kept you and restored to you this useful instrument for your business has shown you His tender care, and it becomes you to declare the works of the Lord.
