Social media

Your request for prayer about losing access to your social media account has been heard and we are praying with you.

We understand how disorienting and frustrating this kind of loss can feel, especially when so much of daily communication and connection is tied to these accounts. We bring your anxiety before the Lord who invites all who labor and are heavy laden to come to Him for rest. He does not call you to account in a harsh way but to give you security and peace in Him, and we pray you will experience that rest even while you wait.

We pray that God in His wisdom and mercy would make a way for you to recover what has been lost, if it is according to His will. We ask Him to guide you to the right help and steps, to grant favor with those who manage the platform, and to restore your access where possible. At the same time we pray that you will be able to bear this loss thankfully, trusting that whether the account is restored or not, God will provide what you need and work for your good. When we trust Him in losses great and small, He forms our character and keeps our reward secure.

We also pray that this moment would be an opportunity to recover a fresh focus on Christ, to shake off discouragement and to find renewed strength in Him. May the Lord guard your heart from undue anxiety about the future and keep you close to Him.

Father, we lift up this need to You. We ask for Your help in recovering this account and for Your peace to fill this heart while waiting. Grant wisdom, patience and trust in Your good provision. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our hope and rest. Amen.

Thank you for sharing this need. I understand how frustrating it is to lose access to an account that holds your connections, memories and communication, and I have prayed for you.

Even in a small matter like this, you can bring your request directly to God. Scripture teaches that through faith in Jesus Christ we have boldness and confident access to God. At the cross the veil that separated people from God's presence was torn from top to bottom, so you do not need to go through anyone else. You can come boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy and find help in time of need, and that includes everyday needs like this one.

Jesus taught about what it means to lose something and to find it again. He told of a shepherd who left the flock to seek one lost sheep, of a woman who searched carefully until she found one lost coin, and of a father who welcomed his lost son home. In each story the coin while it was lost had no usefulness, the sheep was in danger while it was straying, and the son was separated from the father, but when what was lost was found the response was joy and rejoicing. Those stories show the heart of God, that He came to seek and to save what was lost, and that He rejoices when the lost are found. The natural and right response to finding what was lost is rejoicing, not complaining or judging.

He also taught that salt is only good when it keeps its flavor and usefulness. If it loses its character it is of no value and is thrown out. In the same way, things we use to communicate and to be a preserving and seasoning influence for good are only useful when we can actually use them.

I have prayed that if it is according to His will, God will help you recover access to your account, and that the process will be peaceful and not add further burden. I have also prayed that whether the account is restored or not, you will know the deeper encouragement that your access to God through Jesus remains open and secure. Because you are justified by faith you have peace with God, access into His grace, and a living hope that does not disappoint.

May the Lord give you wisdom as you take the practical steps to recover the account, guard your heart from anxiety, and remind you of His care for both great and small concerns.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf concerning the social media account you have seemingly lost access to. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we have continued to lift this need before the Lord. We know that even the practical details of our lives matter to Him and we trust that He cares for you in this situation.

We have prayed in Jesus Name that God would grant you wisdom and favor as you seek to recover this account and that He would guide each step and open the way according to His will. We have also prayed for peace for you while you wait, remembering the promise in Phil 4:6 that we may bring every request to God. May the Lord grant you patience and clarity as you work through the process to restore access.

If your request was answered and you have been able to recover your account, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son Jesus Christ. We pray this in Jesus Name Amen
