Evil false prophet spreading slander and libel about me on social media

Anonymous

Beloved of All
An evil warlock who calls himself a prophet has been repeatedly spreading lies about me to people in my neighborhood, my parents neighborhood and a lot on social media. He has no intention of stopping and is never going to repent from slandering and libeling me. Please pray me for Godly guidance on this matter His hateful wicked evil slander and libel have done a lot of damage to my reputation, and my life in general.

We have heard your cry and we stand with you in this painful and unjust trial. To have your name and reputation attacked by lies spread in your neighborhoods and on social media is a heavy burden, and we grieve with you over the damage this has caused to your life. God sees what is happening and He does not take slander lightly. His word says in Exodus 20:16 You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor, and in Psalm 101:5 Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly, I will destroy. The Lord knows the truth about you even when others are being deceived by lies.

We also want to address plainly what you have described. A man who practices warlock craft and sorcery while calling himself a prophet is in grave rebellion against God. Scripture warns in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh. And concerning false prophets, God says in Jeremiah 23:32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, says Yahweh, and tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their vain boasting; yet I did not send them, nor commanded them. Therefore they shall not profit this people at all, says Yahweh. This man’s slander and libel are not only harmful to you but are an offense to God Himself. Proverbs 19:5 tells us A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who pours out lies shall not go free, and Proverbs 19:9 adds A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who utters lies shall perish. Though he may claim he will never repent, we know that God is both just and merciful, and He will bring every hidden thing into judgment.

We want to encourage you to seek godly guidance in both spiritual and practical ways. Spiritually, do not return evil for evil. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. This does not mean you approve of the evil or that you must expose yourself to further harm, but that you entrust your vindication to God. Romans 12:19 says Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. We encourage you to commit your way to the Lord and trust that He will make your righteousness shine. As Psalm 37:5-6 promises Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun. And remember Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness which is of me, says Yahweh.

Practically, we encourage you to walk in wisdom. Document the slander and libel that has been spread, keep records of what was said and where, and seek wise counsel from a trusted pastor and, if necessary, from a godly legal counsel. God has ordained authorities to restrain evil, and it can be right to use lawful means to protect your name and stop ongoing defamation. Guard your heart from bitterness, continue to live with integrity before God and your community so that your life itself testifies to the truth, and limit your engagement with the lies on social media so you do not get drawn into endless strife. Put on the spiritual armor described in Ephesians 6:12 for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, and stand firm in prayer.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find salvation. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, confessing Him as Lord and believing God raised Him from the dead, for Romans 10:9 tells us if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name that we can boldly come before God for help, for protection, and for justice.

We now pray together for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who has been wounded by relentless slander and libel from a false prophet who practices what You call abomination. Lord, You see the lies that have been spread in neighborhoods and across social media, You see the damage done to reputation and to daily life, and You know the pain and frustration of feeling powerless to stop it. We ask You to be this dear one’s defender and shield. Vindicate the truth, silence lying lips, and let no weapon formed against Your child prevail. Bring to light what has been done in secret and bring conviction where there is hardness of heart, for You desire that even the wicked would turn and live. Grant godly wisdom and guidance on how to respond, when to speak, when to remain silent, and when to seek help from pastors or lawful authorities. Guard this dear one’s heart from fear, anger, and bitterness, and fill it with Your peace that passes all understanding. Help this dear one to bless those who curse and to pray for those who persecute, trusting that vengeance belongs to You. Restore what the enemy has tried to steal, heal the hurt, and let Your justice shine like the noonday sun. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our righteousness. Amen.

We hear how exhausting and painful this has been, having lies spread in your neighborhood, your parents' neighborhood and online, with no sign of it stopping. When your name and character are misrepresented so publicly it can feel vulnerable and isolating, and we are sorry you are carrying this.

Wanting Godly guidance in the middle of it is a wise desire. These situations rarely have a single quick fix, which is why walking with steady, trusted voices matters.

One step that often helps is to gather a couple of wise advisers who know you personally, perhaps a pastor or mature believer you trust, to pray with you and help you think through how to respond, when to answer and when to stay quiet. It can also help to keep a simple private record of what has been said and where, without engaging the person directly online, which often only fuels more. If the false statements are causing real harm, a pastor or counselor can also help you discern whether seeking calm, professional advice about your options would be wise, so you are not carrying decisions alone.

We are praying you experience God's nearness and clarity day by day as you navigate this.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your wisdom, protection and peace over their reputation and family. Guard their heart from bitterness, guide their steps, and care for the truth in Your time. Give them trusted counsel and rest in knowing they are fully known and loved by You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your sorrow has been laid before the Lord and we have taken your burden upon our hearts before the throne of grace. To have false witnesses rise up against you and such as breathe out cruelty is a most bitter trial, and we do not make light of the damage which cruel tongues can do. David himself cried, Deliver me not over unto the will of my enemies, for false witnesses have risen up against me. You are not alone in this smart, for the holier a man seeks to walk, the more he may expect such enmity. Birds pick the ripest fruit.

We have learned from Scripture that after complaining of hireling shepherds and false ones who sought the fleece and not the flock, the Lord shows what He will do for His own. His wisdom is their guidance, His love is their perpetual shield. There are false prophets abroad whose motive is an evil covetousness, who preach smooth things to bring grist to their own mill and glory to their own names, and who utter words which are utterly false. God has given you judgment, use it, and do not be moved from the truth by their noise.

If slander is the rod under which you are to smart, many of the Lord's people have felt it before you, and you need not complain as if a strange thing had happened to you. Do not cry, Not so, Lord, but let the Lord appoint you care or calumny, sickness or slander, for He knows best. Vengeance belongs to Him, and He will in His own time make your righteousness to shine forth.

You have asked for Godly guidance, and that is a wise and gracious desire. The psalmist said, Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. That conviction to take a Guide comes by a work of grace upon the heart, for naturally we do not like being guided. See then that you seek His counsel and not your own. There are great principles infused in every man who takes God for his Guide, and among them this, avoid everything that is evil. Bowing with submission to the will of God, by that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance. Haste also is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life, so do not answer in haste or repay evil for evil.

Take your cause in brief, silent prayer, as Nehemiah did when the interval was not long enough to be noticed by the king, but it was long enough for God to notice it, long enough to seek and obtain guidance from God as to how to frame an answer. Commit your way to the Lord in such brief and believing prayer before you speak or act, and ask Him to direct your steps.

We will pray for you to this end.

O Lord our God, Thou who seest all falsehood and knowest the truth, look in mercy upon Thy servant who is wounded by lying lips and slanderous tongues. Guide him with Thy counsel, give him wisdom to walk uprightly, patience to endure reproach for Thy name's sake, and grace to avoid all evil. Restrain the false accuser, vindicate the innocent according to Thy righteousness, and keep this Thy child from haste and from sin in his own words and deeds. Let him hear Thy voice saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, and let him find that on earth there is no real glory unless a man is guided by Thy counsel, and afterward that Thou wilt receive him to glory for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

We exhort you to walk closely with Christ, to keep your conscience clear before God, to seek the wise counsel of faithful pastors and godly friends, and to leave your reputation in the hands of Him who judges righteously. The Lord is your shield and your guide.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your pain in the face of these ongoing lies is real, and it is right to bring it before the Lord. To have your name attacked in your neighborhood, in your parents neighborhood, and before many on social media is a heavy burden, and to see the damage it has done to your reputation and your daily life is deeply distressing. Thank you for asking for prayer for godly guidance.

Scripture is honest about the wound of slander, and also about where our hope must rest. When someone speaks evil against you, he does not ultimately determine your standing before God. As I have taught in the homilies, God is the one who will demand the account, not those who have heard the slander. The one who slanders adds to his own guilt before God, and while he may bring an evil report among men upon you, he brings a far worse report upon himself before the Lord. The harm of slander does not stop with the one who suffers it, it also entangles the doer, who gains for himself the reputation of a slanderer and will answer to God for every careless word.

For that reason, do not let the fear of what people think become a master over you. There are many who live as slaves to reputation, seeking honor from men, and that itself becomes a snare. Your true honor is to be free from passions and to walk faithfully before Christ, even when others believe what is false about you. Men may be deceived for a time, but God sees in secret and judges justly. He permitted even His own Church to be scattered and reproached, yet He ordered all things by His providence for good.

So I encourage you toward this godly path as you seek wisdom:

First, entrust vengeance to God and do not return evil for evil. Pray for this man who calls himself a prophet, that the Lord would expose the deception, bring him to true repentance and faith in Jesus Christ alone, and stop his harmful work. Whether he repents or not is in God's hands, but you are called to love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.

Second, refuse to be drawn into public quarrels that only spread the strife further. Answer with truth quietly and consistently where you must, and let your steady, honest life be your witness. Seek counsel from mature and trusted pastors or elders in your church who know you, who can speak for your character, support you and your parents, and help you discern practical steps. Keep a clear record of what has been said and done, and seek wise counsel about whether any further steps are needed to protect you and your family.

Third, guard your heart in prayer. Ask God not only to defend your name where He wills, but to deepen your peace in knowing that you are known and loved by Him. Reputation is precious, and it is painful to lose it, but to be well spoken of by God is far better than to be well spoken of by all men.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, You know the truth about this situation when others do not. You see every lie that has been spoken in person and on social media, and You know the damage it has caused to Your child and to his family. We ask for godly guidance. Grant wisdom to know when to speak and when to remain silent, and provide faithful pastors and friends to stand alongside him. Protect his heart from bitterness and from the fear of man, and help him to seek first Your honor. We ask that You would restrain the lies, bring the truth to light in Your timing, and bring this man who practices deception to repentance and to saving faith in Jesus Christ. Where there has been harm, bring healing and restoration. Give peace that passes understanding, and let Your justice and mercy prevail. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

The hurt you are describing is real and deep, and it is understandable that you would feel the weight of it when lies are spread about you in your neighborhood and online. A good name matters, and when it is attacked so persistently it can affect every part of life. God sees the damage that has been done and He knows the truth about you even when others are being misled.

Scripture is very plain about the nature of slander. The one who spreads slander is described as a fool, and the one who covers hatred with lying lips is acting deceitfully. There is also wisdom in remembering that where there are many words, sin is not far away, while the wise person learns to restrain his lips. The man you describe is showing that foolish pattern, speaking many false words and hiding malice behind them. You do not need to answer him in the same way or try to win a war of words on social media. To return slander for slander only multiplies sin.

It is right to care about your reputation, and Scripture shows that a good reputation is valuable. In the early church, when help was needed for practical daily needs, those chosen were required to be known as people of good reputation, full of the Holy Spirit and wisdom. That same principle is given for those who lead, that they must be known for integrity and honesty in the community. A reputation, whether good or bad, will spread on its own through how a person actually lives. The best way to guard your name over time is to continue living honestly and diligently before God and before people. God is the One who sees in secret, and He is the One who ultimately rewards and defends. Seeking to protect your name by retaliation or by trying to force people to think well of you will not bring peace. Quiet faithfulness before the Lord does.

You asked for godly guidance, and that is exactly what you should seek above all. Scripture teaches to trust in the Lord with all your heart and not to lean on your own understanding, to acknowledge Him in all your ways and He will direct your paths. That means bringing this specific situation to Him with direct and honest questions and waiting for His direction instead of moving impulsively. The early believers looked to the Holy Spirit for guidance in all things and waited to know His mind before they acted. You can do the same. Ask the Lord plainly, shall I answer this, shall I remain silent, what steps should I take, will You go before me in this. Then wait for Him to lead, whether that is through His Word, through wise counsel, or through the quiet leading of His Spirit. At times God's people have made matters worse by acting without first inquiring of Him, and you can be spared that by seeking Him first.

In your personal prayers, bring to God the four basic needs He invites you to bring, provision, forgiveness, guidance and deliverance. You need His provision for what has been damaged, His guidance for what to do next, and His deliverance from this attack. You also need His help to forgive. When someone does malicious damage with hatred and lies, the temptation is to let that bitterness boil inside. Scripture warns that you must forgive and not let it take root, because it will harm you more than it harms the one who slandered you. Forgiving does not mean saying the lies were true or that the behavior is acceptable. It means releasing the person to God and refusing to carry hatred in return.

I am praying for you that God will give you clear wisdom for each decision, that He will guard your heart from bitterness, that He will provide for every practical need affected by these lies, and that He will deliver you and uphold your reputation in His time and way. May the Lord show you when to speak and when to be silent, and may He comfort you with the knowledge that He knows the truth and will not leave you without direction.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning the painful slander and libel you have endured.

We have been lifting you up before the Lord regarding the lies being spread about you on social media and in your neighborhood and your parents neighborhood by this man who calls himself a prophet. We understand how much damage his hateful and wicked words have done to your reputation and to your life in general and how heavy this burden has been. We have been praying specifically for Godly guidance for you in this matter, for wisdom to know how to respond, and for the Lord to be your defender and shield.

We pray that the Lord will vindicate you and silence every lying tongue raised against you, for we know that no weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn as promised in Isaiah 54:17. We ask the Father to protect your name and reputation, to bring truth into the light, to restrain this evil and to bring conviction where it is needed, and to give you peace and strength as you trust in Him. We also pray that God will lead you in the right steps to take for your protection and for justice according to His will. We pray this in Jesus Name, Amen.

We continue to stand with you. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we may rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
