Evil false prophet spreading slander and libel about me on social media

An evil warlock who calls himself a prophet has been repeatedly spreading lies about me to people in my neighborhood, my parents neighborhood and a lot on social media. He has no intention of stopping and is never going to repent from slandering and libeling me. Please pray me for Godly guidance on this matter His hateful wicked evil slander and libel have done a lot of damage to my reputation, and my life in general.

We have heard your cry and we stand with you in this painful and unjust trial. To have your name and reputation attacked by lies spread in your neighborhoods and on social media is a heavy burden, and we grieve with you over the damage this has caused to your life. God sees what is happening and He does not take slander lightly. His word says in Exodus 20:16 You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor, and in Psalm 101:5 Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly, I will destroy. The Lord knows the truth about you even when others are being deceived by lies.

We also want to address plainly what you have described. A man who practices warlock craft and sorcery while calling himself a prophet is in grave rebellion against God. Scripture warns in Deuteronomy 18:10-12 There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh. And concerning false prophets, God says in Jeremiah 23:32 Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, says Yahweh, and tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their vain boasting; yet I did not send them, nor commanded them. Therefore they shall not profit this people at all, says Yahweh. This man’s slander and libel are not only harmful to you but are an offense to God Himself. Proverbs 19:5 tells us A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who pours out lies shall not go free, and Proverbs 19:9 adds A false witness shall not be unpunished. He who utters lies shall perish. Though he may claim he will never repent, we know that God is both just and merciful, and He will bring every hidden thing into judgment.

We want to encourage you to seek godly guidance in both spiritual and practical ways. Spiritually, do not return evil for evil. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 5:44 But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. This does not mean you approve of the evil or that you must expose yourself to further harm, but that you entrust your vindication to God. Romans 12:19 says Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. We encourage you to commit your way to the Lord and trust that He will make your righteousness shine. As Psalm 37:5-6 promises Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun. And remember Isaiah 54:17 No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness which is of me, says Yahweh.

Practically, we encourage you to walk in wisdom. Document the slander and libel that has been spread, keep records of what was said and where, and seek wise counsel from a trusted pastor and, if necessary, from a godly legal counsel. God has ordained authorities to restrain evil, and it can be right to use lawful means to protect your name and stop ongoing defamation. Guard your heart from bitterness, continue to live with integrity before God and your community so that your life itself testifies to the truth, and limit your engagement with the lies on social media so you do not get drawn into endless strife. Put on the spiritual armor described in Ephesians 6:12 for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, and stand firm in prayer.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and find salvation. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If you have not already, we encourage you to place your full trust in Jesus Christ, confessing Him as Lord and believing God raised Him from the dead, for Romans 10:9 tells us if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name that we can boldly come before God for help, for protection, and for justice.

We now pray together for you.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who has been wounded by relentless slander and libel from a false prophet who practices what You call abomination. Lord, You see the lies that have been spread in neighborhoods and across social media, You see the damage done to reputation and to daily life, and You know the pain and frustration of feeling powerless to stop it. We ask You to be this dear one’s defender and shield. Vindicate the truth, silence lying lips, and let no weapon formed against Your child prevail. Bring to light what has been done in secret and bring conviction where there is hardness of heart, for You desire that even the wicked would turn and live. Grant godly wisdom and guidance on how to respond, when to speak, when to remain silent, and when to seek help from pastors or lawful authorities. Guard this dear one’s heart from fear, anger, and bitterness, and fill it with Your peace that passes all understanding. Help this dear one to bless those who curse and to pray for those who persecute, trusting that vengeance belongs to You. Restore what the enemy has tried to steal, heal the hurt, and let Your justice shine like the noonday sun. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our righteousness. Amen.

We hear how exhausting and painful this has been, having lies spread in your neighborhood, your parents' neighborhood and online, with no sign of it stopping. When your name and character are misrepresented so publicly it can feel vulnerable and isolating, and we are sorry you are carrying this.

Wanting Godly guidance in the middle of it is a wise desire. These situations rarely have a single quick fix, which is why walking with steady, trusted voices matters.

One step that often helps is to gather a couple of wise advisers who know you personally, perhaps a pastor or mature believer you trust, to pray with you and help you think through how to respond, when to answer and when to stay quiet. It can also help to keep a simple private record of what has been said and where, without engaging the person directly online, which often only fuels more. If the false statements are causing real harm, a pastor or counselor can also help you discern whether seeking calm, professional advice about your options would be wise, so you are not carrying decisions alone.

We are praying you experience God's nearness and clarity day by day as you navigate this.

Father, we lift our friend to You and ask for Your wisdom, protection and peace over their reputation and family. Guard their heart from bitterness, guide their steps, and care for the truth in Your time. Give them trusted counsel and rest in knowing they are fully known and loved by You. Your sorrow has been laid before the Lord and we have taken your burden upon our hearts before the throne of grace. To have false witnesses rise up against you and such as breathe out cruelty is a most bitter trial, and we do not make light of the damage which cruel tongues can do. David himself cried, Deliver me not over unto the will of my enemies, for false witnesses have risen up against me. You are not alone in this smart, for the holier a man seeks to walk, the more he may expect such enmity. Birds pick the ripest fruit.

We have learned from Scripture that after complaining of hireling shepherds and false ones who sought the fleece and not the flock, the Lord shows what He will do for His own. His wisdom is their guidance, His love is their perpetual shield. There are false prophets abroad whose motive is an evil covetousness, who preach smooth things to bring grist to their own mill and glory to their own names, and who utter words which are utterly false. God has given you judgment, use it, and do not be moved from the truth by their noise.

If slander is the rod under which you are to smart, many of the Lord's people have felt it before you, and you need not complain as if a strange thing had happened to you. Do not cry, Not so, Lord, but let the Lord appoint you care or calumny, sickness or slander, for He knows best. Vengeance belongs to Him, and He will in His own time make your righteousness to shine forth.

You have asked for Godly guidance, and that is a wise and gracious desire. The psalmist said, Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. That conviction to take a Guide comes by a work of grace upon the heart, for naturally we do not like being guided. See then that you seek His counsel and not your own. There are great principles infused in every man who takes God for his Guide, and among them this, avoid everything that is evil. Bowing with submission to the will of God, by that very fact we are furnished with unerring guidance. Haste also is the author of a great deal of mischief in human life, so do not answer in haste or repay evil for evil.

Take your cause in brief, silent prayer, as Nehemiah did when the interval was not long enough to be noticed by the king, but it was long enough for God to notice it, long enough to seek and obtain guidance from God as to how to frame an answer. Commit your way to the Lord in such brief and believing prayer before you speak or act, and ask Him to direct your steps.

We will pray for you to this end.

O Lord our God, Thou who seest all falsehood and knowest the truth, look in mercy upon Thy servant who is wounded by lying lips and slanderous tongues. Guide him with Thy counsel, give him wisdom to walk uprightly, patience to endure reproach for Thy name's sake, and grace to avoid all evil. Restrain the false accuser, vindicate the innocent according to Thy righteousness, and keep this Thy child from haste and from sin in his own words and deeds. Let him hear Thy voice saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, and let him find that on earth there is no real glory unless a man is guided by Thy counsel, and afterward that Thou wilt receive him to glory for Jesus Christ's sake. Amen.

We exhort you to walk closely with Christ, to keep your conscience clear before God, to seek the wise counsel of faithful pastors and godly friends, and to leave your reputation in the hands of Him who judges righteously. The Lord is your shield and your guide.
