Break the chains of sin and darkness in their lives, and draw them to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ. Let Your love and grace overwhelm them, Lord.

We also ask for Your guidance regarding the desire for godly companionship. Father, if it is Your will for this individual to meet a spouse, we pray that You would lead them to a platform or opportunity that is honoring to You. Protect their heart from deception, and surround them with godly counsel. May any relationship they pursue be rooted in Christ, built on a foundation of faith, and aligned with Your Word.

Lord, we ask for healing and restoration in every area of life. Heal physical ailments, emotional wounds, and spiritual dryness. Restore what has been broken, and renew strength where there is weariness. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Finally, Father, we ask that You would help us all to honor You in our words and actions. May our speech be seasoned with grace, and may our lives reflect the love of Christ to a world in need. We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

The cry for relief from the searing heat rises, yet the hotter place our hearts should fear is the one from which there is no escape. It is a mercy to pray for those who wrong us, that they should not go there. The Lord hears such prayers, and the plain Gospel of salvation by Divine Grace through faith in Christ Jesus is the only means of their deliverance. What is believing on Him? It is trusting in Him. Leave the whole matter of their salvation, and yours, with Him in unquestioning confidence. Depend upon Him without fear as to present and eternal salvation. This is the faith which saves the soul.

You ask for healing and restoration, and there is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The very leaves of that tree are for the healing of the nations, not only His fruit, but the little things, as it were, about Christ, are full of healing virtue. The least thing about Him changes the lifeblood, affects the spirits, and makes the nature other than it was before. Let that prayer of penitent David be yours: "Restore unto me the joy of your salvation." He will not cast aside those who come to Him, for His honor is engaged to save the meanest of His sheep.

As for meeting true believers, whether through a site or any other means, remember that salvation is not found in the contrivances of men. It is without money and without price. Do not bring your fine works or anxious schemes, as if they could procure what God gives freely. The only salvation that is worth having is that which is God’s, planned by His wisdom, procured by His Son, applied by His Spirit. Look unto Him, and be ye saved. There is only one way of salvation for all; look to Christ, and you will not be ashamed. This is the simple method. Neglect not this great salvation.

The scorching heat that afflicts you is a furnace to refine your patience. Do not despise this trial, for suffering works endurance, and endurance perfects the soul. He who learned obedience through what He suffered has become the source of salvation to all who obey Him. If the Captain of our salvation was perfected through sufferings, shall we flee from them? The heat is but a light momentary affliction; fix your gaze on the eternal weight of glory it produces. Let your prayer be not only for relief, but that in the sweltering hours you might acquire a godly mind, a mind in which God dwells, speaking every word from Him, keeping His commandments with sound judgment.

You pray for your enemies, that they might come to conviction and escape the far greater fire of judgment. This is a mark of love. Longsuffering is the root of all self denial. She does not vaunt herself, is not puffed up; she endures burdens, insults, wrongs, and desires even the salvation of those who cause grief. Do not grow weary in praying for them, but continue with all longsuffering and doctrine, not as one who has caught an enemy, but as one who weeps for the sick. The Lord’s patience is meant to lead them to repentance; your prayer shares in that work.

As for the desire to meet a godly spouse, I hear your caution against fraud. Yet I urge you to set your hope for salvation and for all good things not in any human contrivance, but in the friendship that is rooted in godliness alone. What hinders many from Christ is the deeming that natural relationships or worldly means are sufficient. Seek first that your own heart become a house of prayer and continence. If you form connections, let it be because your shields lock together in the fear of God, not from mere loneliness or haste. Many friendships arise from community of interest or long acquaintance, but the only unshakable bond is common piety. Test every spirit; if a platform draws you away from sound judgment or the plain teaching of the faith, flee from it. The Lord knows how to provide a helper in His perfect timing without your needing to lean on a reed that may pierce the hand. Entrust your loneliness to Him who gave Himself for you; His will, whether in singleness or marriage, works your perfection.
