Small Prayer & Evangelism Outreach Grows, Zech 4:10, Weekly Prayer Meetings Increase from 1 to 2 or 3 per Wk, Steady Gospel Outreaches, Effectiveness

Nochaeld

Beloved of All
🧎🏻Father, please strengthen the little prayer and evangelistic meetings we have. I ask the intercessors and evangelists are strengthened not by might nor power but by The Holy Spirit, Zech 4:6, Eph 3:14-20. Draw people out, Jn 6:44, let them not despise the day of small beginnings, Zech 4:10, for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth seeking to show Yourself STRONG on behalf of those whose hearts are fully committed to Him, 2 Chron 16:9.

Pour out the Holy Spirit of Prayer on us, (Spirit of Grace and Supplication), Zech 12:10. Help us be burdened for souls, Ezek 9:4, labor until Christ is formed in people, Gal 4:19. May it grow to like three days a week, also more outreaches, effectiveness, the wise ones win souls, Prov 11 and those that lead many to righteousness like the stars forever, Dan 12:3...

Also, for the weekly evangelistic outreach, Lord, let us not let it get “rained out,” or not meet “because of the heat” or if someone “gets sick,” or “I bought some land and have to check it out,” or “I married a wife and cannot come,” or “I bought some oxen and have to try them out,” Lk 14:18-20, etc...

Let the love of CHRIST COMPEL us to not live for ourselves (since we're already dead), but for Christ who died and rose on our behalf, 2 Cor 5:14-15. Let the LOVE of CHRIST COMPEL US to COMPEL others to come to the wedding feast, Lk 14:23-24. Let the Word of The Lord prevail like in Ephesus, Acts 19:10, even granting attesting miracles, Acts 19:11, and sound conversions, like Zacchaeus, Lk 19:8, 2 Cor 7:9-11. Keep the evil one away from the team on days of prayer and outreach, 2 Cor 2:11, Eph 6:18-19. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We rejoice in your heart for prayer, evangelism, and the growth of God’s kingdom! Your request reflects a deep dependence on the Holy Spirit and a commitment to seeing souls won for Christ. We stand with you in agreement, lifting this vision before the Lord with boldness and expectancy.

The Word declares, "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit," says Yahweh of Armies" (Zechariah 4:6). This is the foundation of all true ministry, relying not on human effort or programs, but on the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit. We pray that every intercessor and evangelist involved would be filled afresh with His power, walking in divine enablement rather than fleshly striving. May the Spirit of grace and supplication be poured out upon you (Zechariah 12:10), burdening hearts for the lost and breaking chains of complacency.

We also affirm the truth of Zechariah 4:10, "Who has despised the day of small things?" The Lord delights in using humble beginnings to display His glory. We pray that He would multiply your prayer meetings from one to two or three times a week, not as a mere increase in activity, but as a movement of the Spirit drawing laborers into the harvest. Let the eyes of the Lord watch over your team, strengthening those whose hearts are fully committed to Him (2 Chronicles 16:9). May your evangelistic outreaches be marked by divine appointments, where the Word prevails, miracles attest to the gospel, and lives are transformed like Zacchaeus, repentant, restored, and rejoicing in salvation (Luke 19:8; Acts 19:10-11).

Yet we must also address the distractions and excuses that so easily hinder kingdom work. The parable of the great banquet (Luke 14:18-20) warns against prioritizing worldly pursuits over the call of Christ. We rebuke every spirit of apathy, busyness, or fear that would keep laborers from the field. The love of Christ must compel us (2 Corinthians 5:14-15), for we no longer live for ourselves but for Him who died and rose again. We pray that your team would be unshakable in their commitment, undeterred by weather, weariness, or worldly entanglements. Let the urgency of the gospel burn within them, knowing that souls hang in the balance.

We also lift up the spiritual warfare surrounding your efforts. The enemy seeks to sow division, discouragement, or distraction (2 Corinthians 2:11), but we stand in the authority of Christ, praying that every scheme of darkness would be thwarted. Clothe yourselves in the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18), wielding the sword of the Spirit and praying at all times in the Spirit. May your outreaches be protected, your intercessors be sharp, and your labor be fruitful for eternity.

Finally, we pray for sound conversions, not mere emotional responses, but hearts truly regenerated by the Holy Spirit (2 Corinthians 7:9-11). May those who hear the gospel be drawn by the Father (John 6:44), their eyes opened to their need for a Savior. Let the wise win souls (Proverbs 11:30), and may those who turn many to righteousness shine like stars forever (Daniel 12:3).

Heavenly Father, we thank You for this labor of love. Multiply their efforts, Lord, and let Your kingdom come in power. May Your name be glorified as the lost are found, the broken are healed, and the church is edified. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12) and the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). To You be all honor, glory, and dominion forever. Amen.

We're standing right with you in this, grateful for the heart you're pouring into prayer and evangelism. Your longing for the Spirit’s power, not just effort, and your honesty about the very human obstacles (sickness, busyness, the pull of daily life) resonate deeply. Those excuses in Luke 14 are real; they’re the friction of ordinary life against the extraordinary commission. And yet here you are, pressing in.

What encourages us most is that you’re not chasing bigness but begging God to breathe on small beginnings. In our own experience, growth in the kingdom often looks less like a sudden explosion and more like the quiet, steady work of a farmer, small seeds planted, watered, and tended day after day. The danger isn’t the smallness but the temptation to lose heart when the harvest seems slow. So we pray with you against that weariness, and we trust that the One who sees every whispered intercession and every faltering conversation is at work beyond what you can see.

One thing that has helped other teams is keeping a simple shared record, maybe a note on a phone or a journal, of the fleeting moments that might otherwise go unnoticed: a neighbor who paused to talk, a team member’s renewed courage, a sense of peace after prayer. Looking back over those entries can anchor the heart when excuses loom and remind you that Christ is indeed compelling you and others.

Father, thank you for this faithful crew and the fire you’ve placed in them. Strengthen their inner being by your Spirit, and push back every obstacle that would silence the gospel. Guard their days from the enemy’s distractions, and give them holy stubbornness to keep meeting, keep reaching out, and keep loving souls. Let love compel, and let your Word prevail. In Jesus’ name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The petition laid before the throne rises like incense, for it is after the mind of God. Let none despise the day of small things, for the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro throughout the whole earth, have fixed their gaze upon that little gathering, that modest prayer meeting, that unadorned gospel outreach. The Lord showeth Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is perfect toward Him, and He delighteth to use the weak things of the world to confound the mighty. The prayer meeting is the very engine room of the church; when our comparatively little chapel was all but empty, the prayer meeting was always full, and from that upper room the power descended. Begin with a prayer meeting, just as Paul did; this costs you nothing, yet this will enrich you beyond measure.

Now, as to the increase from one meeting to two or three, the secret lies in love. Faith worketh by love; this is faith’s hammer and file and anvil, her every implement. Love will teach a little child or evangelize a nation. When the love of Christ constraineth us, we cannot live unto ourselves, for we are already dead, and our life is hid with Christ in God. Go home, then, to prayer and renew your faith in Jesus. I often go straight away back to the cross from which I started when I set out for heaven. The devil saith to me, “You are no Christian,” but I reply that upon that tree the Son of God did bear my sin in His own body, and there my love is freshly kindled. You ask that the love of Christ compel you; it is faith that begets likeness to Christ in the soul, and likeness begets love. Where there is congeniality of taste, mind, view, disposition, and spirit, love becometh strong and well established. Gaze upon Him, and you shall become like Him; becoming like Him, you shall love Him; and loving Him, you shall love the souls for whom He died.

Those excuses you mention, the land, the oxen, the marriage, are the very cords with which the enemy would bind the hands of the idle. Yet these things may be detected as Satanic by the method in which they come. God employeth good motives, Satan bad ones. If that which turneth you away from your object be a bad thought, a bad motive, that never came from God, it must be from Satan. The love of ease, the fear of a little rain or heat, the petty cares of this life, these are the dust which the adversary throweth into our eyes to keep us from the mercy seat. But when a man hath passed from death unto life, he is willing to go to the little prayer meeting and hear the saints groan, and feel, “That is just the kind of sorrow I would like to feel.” He cannot read a book without praying; he doth not look at a baby without pleading for that dear child’s soul. We feel habitually in the spirit of prayer, and no excuse satisfieth the heart that is on fire with love.

Yet be on your guard concerning the hindrances in the meeting itself. Long prayers can pray a man into a good frame and then, by their tedious length, pray him out of it again. Unholiness hinders prayer; keep short accounts with God. And remember that you must not despise the poor cries of the weak. You wonder that God should have listened to such poor prayers as were uttered at the prayer meeting, yet verily He doth hear the stammerings of His children. The first prayer was a prayer for ourselves, that God would have mercy upon us and blot out our sin. He heard that. And how much more will He hear us when we intercede for others, when we sigh and cry for the abominations done in the land, when we labour until Christ be formed in precious souls?

Let the word of the Lord prevail as in Ephesus. Did they not meet daily? And did not God grant attesting miracles, so that all they which dwelt in Asia heard the word of the Lord Jesus, both Jews and Greeks? The power belongeth unto God, but He works through means, and the chief means is the pleading of His people. Consecrate your houses by frequently using them for prayer meetings; this avoideth all smell of superstition and bringeth the blessing home. And as for the evangelistic outreach, think not that paper and ink are never better used than in soul-winning. Much hath been done by this method; could you not do it? Will you not try? Some of you, if you could not speak or write much, could live much. And a holy life is a mighty sermon. We win hearts by love, by sympathy with their sorrow, by anxiety lest they should perish, by pleading with God for them with all our hearts that they should not be left to die unsaved.

So let the prayer meeting be the seed plot of all your labours. It is an institution that ought to be very precious to us and to be cherished very much by us, for to it we owe everything. When you have prayed and God hath actually listened to you, do you not say afterwards, “I wonder that He should have heard such poor prayers as those”? Yet He hath done it, and He will do it again. The Spirit of grace and of supplication is poured out upon the house of David; therefore be encouraged. Though your knees are feeble and your words are few, the Lord Jesus hangeth upon His breast the Urim and Thummim, and you shall from Him find direction in every time of difficulty. The love of Christ will compel you; go forth then in this might of His. Lo, upon His hands are the engraven names of His redeemed; He defies all comers to take from Him those He did foreknow. Shall the prey be taken from the mighty? Shall Jesus fail to see of the travail of His soul? Never. Let the intercessors be strengthened not by might nor by power, but by the Spirit of the Lord of hosts; and as you sow in tears, you shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing your sheaves with you.

You ask for the strengthening of your little meetings, and you bring to mind the word of the prophet: who has despised the day of small things? The eyes of the Lord run to and fro to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are fully His. This very request, offered with such fervor and clinging to the promises, is itself a proof that the Spirit is already moving among you. For no one can say “Jesus is Lord” except by the Holy Spirit, and no one can travail in prayer for souls unless that same Spirit has first kindled the desire.

Yet consider this: the disciples once walked with Christ Himself, and still He told them to wait until they were clothed with power from on high. They did not rush out in their own strength, but tarried in prayer until the promise of the Father was poured forth. You now live in the days after that outpouring. The Holy Spirit has been given, not stinted as under the old covenant, but shed abroad richly upon all flesh who call upon His name. The well is already dug; the water is already springing up. You need not climb to heaven to bring Christ down, nor descend into the deep to bring Him up. The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart. This is the Spirit who rested upon the Apostles, who filled the house where they were gathered, who gave them boldness to speak the word with signs following. He is not far from any one of us. Therefore do not quench that Spirit. Do not treat His flame as a thing to be timidly hidden, but blow upon it with prayer and with the breath of your own witness, and it will become a fire.

You ask that the meetings might increase to two or three a week. This is a good desire, not for its own sake, but because love for the lost multiplies the occasions of labor. Remember what Paul says: it is not the one who plants or the one who waters, but God who gives the increase. The body of Christ grows by the touch of the supply from the Head, measured out to each member according to its need, all bound together in love. Where love is fervent, the Spirit flows freely, knitting soul to soul and drawing in those who are perishing. That same love will silence every excuse that the world, the flesh, and the devil whisper. The one who bought a field, the one with new oxen, the newly married, they all had plausible reasons, but the Master called them unworthy of the feast. Do not let these things stop your mouths or tie your feet. Let the love of Christ compel you, just as you have prayed. For if we consider truly that He died for all, then those who live should no longer live for themselves. A dead man has no business in the marketplace. If we have died with Christ, the world’s distractions lose their power. The marriage supper of the Lamb is at hand; go out quickly into the streets and lanes and compel them to come in.

I see that you fear the hindrance of weather, sickness, or weariness. These things seem small, yet even the Apostles were troubled by such. But the same Spirit who strengthened them against stripes and chains is no less able to give you perseverance under sun or rain. Do not look at the outward circumstances, but at the inward fire. The Holy Spirit does not work according to the measure of our visible resources, but according to the abundance of divine grace. He needs not fair skies; He created the skies. He needs not robust health; He is the healer of every disease. In your weakness, His strength is perfected. I charge you, therefore, to walk in humility, for the proud heart quenches the Spirit, but the lowly soul finds rest and power. Learn from the meek and lowly One, and you will find that the yoke of evangelism becomes easy and the burden light. The secret of effective prayer is not in long phrases but in a humble heart that clings to God with boldness because it trusts not in itself.

Finally, do not despise the day of small numbers. When I look upon a congregation gathered to pray, I see not a few but the whole body of Christ, for where two or three are gathered in His name, there He is in the midst. The infant church in the upper room was only a handful, yet they turned the world upside down. The eyes of the Lord do not count heads; they weigh hearts. If your hearts are fully committed to Him, He will show Himself strong. He may send a Zacchaeus who is suddenly transformed, or a whole city moved by the word. He may grant even attesting miracles, as in Ephesus, but do not seek the sign more than the Savior. Seek the One who baptizes with the Holy Spirit and fire. The same Lord who multiplied the loaves can multiply your little band until it is ten thousand times as great, yet even if it remain small in the world’s eyes, it is mighty in His. The great reapers will shine like stars forever, not because of the number they reached, but because of the love with which they labored. So continue steadfastly. Pray without ceasing. Blow upon the fire of the Spirit within you, and God will bring the increase in His season. He who promised is faithful, and He will do it.

The burden you have expressed reflects a heart that truly longs for the increase of God’s kingdom, and this is the very fruit the Father seeks. When our gatherings for prayer and evangelism are fueled by His Spirit rather than our own determination, they become places where love can grow. That love is not a shallow feeling but the self-sacrificing, giving love that comes from God alone. It cannot be manufactured. As you press into prayer, remember that abiding in Christ is the only way this love begins to flow through you to others, becoming the sign that He is at work.

You have asked that people would not be held back by the cares of this life, the excuses that creep in so easily. A love for anything that exceeds our devotion to the Lord is spiritually dangerous. Our chief affection must be fixed on Him. When we nurture a love for the world’s priorities, the fire of prayer and outreach grows cold. So guard your heart. The call to the wedding feast is urgent, and the love of Christ compels us because we have died to ourselves. That same love then becomes the force that compels others to come in, leaving behind their old lives like Zacchaeus with a new, sound conversion.

Be encouraged that no gathering is too small in the eyes of the Lord. The flame of a few who are wholly committed can blaze brighter than the noise of a multitude walking in a worldly manner. The Spirit is not limited by our numbers, for His power is made strong in weakness. That gentleness and pure wisdom from above will mark your times together, free from the earthly strife that brings confusion. As you labor to see Christ formed in people, love will believe all things and hope all things, even when the way seems slow.

Our Lord’s own prayer was that we would be kept from the evil one. The world is indeed soaked in forces that would distract, divide, and discourage. Therefore, pray with confidence that the Father will keep the team from the evil that prowls around days set apart for intercession and the sharing of the gospel. Ask for a unity so deep that it reflects the oneness of the Son and the Father, for it is in that harmony where love is perfected and God dwells among His people. The effectiveness you seek will not come through a polished method but through the undeniable proof of a ministry marked by pureness, long-suffering, and love unfeigned.

Be watchful over one another in love, refusing to let any root of bitterness or evil speaking hinder the work. The proof that we have passed from death to life is that we love the brethren, and that love gives us great confidence in prayer. As you learn to pray together with that same mind, the Word will have free course, and the Lord will confirm His truth with His own signs. May the Spirit of grace and supplication be poured out in fresh measure, and may your love abound yet more and more until the great harvest is gathered in.
