Small Prayer & Evangelism Outreach Grows, Zech 4:10, Weekly Prayer Meetings Increase from 1 to 2 or 3 per Wk, Steady Gospel Outreaches, Effectiveness

Nochaeld

Beloved of All
🧎🏻Father, please strengthen the little prayer and evangelistic meetings we have. I ask the intercessors and evangelists are strengthened not by might nor power but by The Holy Spirit, Zech 4:6, Eph 3:14-20. Draw people out, Jn 6:44, let them not despise the day of small beginnings, Zech 4:10, for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth seeking to show Yourself STRONG on behalf of those whose hearts are fully committed to Him, 2 Chron 16:9.

Pour out the Holy Spirit of Prayer on us, (Spirit of Grace and Supplication), Zech 12:10. Help us be burdened for souls, Ezek 9:4, labor until Christ is formed in people, Gal 4:19. May it grow to like three days a week, also more outreaches, effectiveness, the wise ones win souls, Prov 11 and those that lead many to righteousness like the stars forever, Dan 12:3...

Also, for the weekly evangelistic outreach, Lord, let us not let it get “rained out,” or not meet “because of the heat” or if someone “gets sick,” or “I bought some land and have to check it out,” or “I married a wife and cannot come,” or “I bought some oxen and have to try them out,” Lk 14:18-20, etc...

Let the love of CHRIST COMPEL us to not live for ourselves (since we're already dead), but for Christ who died and rose on our behalf, 2 Cor 5:14-15. Let the LOVE of CHRIST COMPEL US to COMPEL others to come to the wedding feast, Lk 14:23-24. Let the Word of The Lord prevail like in Ephesus, Acts 19:10, even granting attesting miracles, Acts 19:11, and sound conversions, like Zacchaeus, Lk 19:8, 2 Cor 7:9-11. Keep the evil one away from the team on days of prayer and outreach, 2 Cor 2:11, Eph 6:18-19. Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We rejoice with you in the vision the Lord has placed on your heart for prayer and evangelism! The cry of your request aligns beautifully with Scripture, and we stand with you in agreement, lifting this work before the throne of grace. The Lord does not despise small beginnings, and we declare that He will strengthen these gatherings by His Spirit, not by human might or power (Zechariah 4:6). What a privilege it is to labor in the harvest fields where the Lord is already at work, drawing souls to Himself (John 6:44).

We pray fervently that the Holy Spirit would pour out a spirit of grace and supplication upon every intercessor and evangelist involved (Zechariah 12:10). May their hearts burn with the same burden that moved Ezekiel, who was marked for those who sighed and cried over the abominations in the land (Ezekiel 9:4). Let them labor until Christ is formed in those they reach (Galatians 4:19), and may their efforts bear fruit that lasts, as those who win souls are wise (Proverbs 11:30) and will shine like the stars forever (Daniel 12:3).

Father, we ask that You would shield these gatherings from every excuse and distraction that seeks to hinder them. Just as the excuses in Luke 14:18-20 kept men from the wedding feast, we rebuke every spirit of complacency, fear, or worldly entanglement that would keep Your people from participating in prayer and outreach. Let the love of Christ compel them to prioritize Your kingdom above all else (2 Corinthians 5:14-15), and may they faithfully compel others to come to the feast You have prepared (Luke 14:23-24).

We declare that the Word of the Lord will prevail in these outreaches, just as it did in Ephesus (Acts 19:10). May there be attesting miracles, signs, and wonders that confirm the preaching of Your Word (Acts 19:11), and may the conversions be genuine, marked by repentance and transformation like that of Zacchaeus (Luke 19:8). We bind every scheme of the evil one that would seek to disrupt or discourage this work (2 Corinthians 2:11), and we pray that the full armor of God would be worn by every participant, with prayer as their constant weapon (Ephesians 6:18-19).

Lord, we thank You for the faithfulness of those who have already committed to this vision. Strengthen them, encourage them, and multiply their efforts. Raise up more laborers who will join them, and let the fire of Your Spirit burn brightly in their midst. May these prayer meetings and outreaches grow not for the sake of numbers, but for the sake of Your glory and the salvation of souls. Let the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro throughout the earth, find hearts fully committed to Him in this work (2 Chronicles 16:9), and let Your strength be made perfect in their weakness.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, through whom we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only by His blood that we can boldly approach Your throne. May every prayer, every outreach, and every conversation be saturated with the power of Jesus’ name. Amen.

We love that you're not despising the day of small beginnings. It's clear that God has put a holy urgency in your hearts, not a frantic striving, but a deep desire to see prayer and evangelism take root and spread. That desire itself is evidence of the Spirit's work.

A practical step that often helps is to protect the time you already have as sacred ground. When you gather once a week, treat that hour as a non-negotiable shelter, something the "rains" and "heat" and busyness of life cannot steal, because you've anchored it in shared commitment. Even if only two or three show up, Jesus is there, and those faithful prayers accumulate in ways you may not see for months. From that steady base, adding a second meeting feels less like a leap and more like a natural overflow. You might find one or two others who carry the same burden and ask them simply, "Will you join me in praying about this next step?" The growth you're asking for often starts in those quiet, one-on-one invitations.

It's also worth remembering that the enemy specializes in discouragement around spiritual routines. The excuses in Luke 14 are not spectacular sins, they're just life crowding out the best thing. So when a meeting feels small or gets canceled by someone's legitimate conflict, we can still choose to see it as a skirmish won when the core group refuses to let disappointment steal their own prayer time. Don't underestimate the power of simply showing up, week after week, and asking the Lord to fill the room, however many chairs are physically occupied.

We're praying with you that the Word of the Lord would indeed prevail among you, and that He would keep the evil one from exploiting ordinary obstacles.

Lord Jesus, thank You for this team's love for prayer and for the lost. Fill them with Your Spirit, not by force but by a deep love that compels them. Guard their gathering times from constant interruption. Raise up even one or two more laborers, and let the gospel bear lasting fruit. Keep their eyes on You, not on the numbers, and give them steady joy in the process. Amen.

Your prayer breathes the very spirit of the early Church, when they continued with one accord in prayer and supplication. Despise not the day of small beginnings, the Lord’s eyes run to and fro, seeking a heart fully His, that He may show Himself strong. The promise is not to the many, but to the faithful. Let your little handful be of one mind, and heaven will bend low.

I have often said that one warm, hearty prayer is worth a score of those packed in ice. See to it that the prayer meeting is kept to its great object, prayer itself, not discourse or cold form, but direct pleading with the Most High. Use arguments, as Jacob did; spread your case before Him, press your suit with all the holy logic heaven delights in. And if the Spirit of grace and supplication be poured out, there will be a divine excitement upon you, deep and spiritual, not of the flesh. That flame drives out sloth and selfish ease.

You dread excuses drawn from land or oxen or household, well you should. The love of Christ must compel, or these will strangle the work. When the heart is burdened for souls, it cannot stay away. Every man must bear his own burden of prayer: the intercessor his, the evangelist his. Carry these perishing ones to the mercy seat until you cannot live if they do not live. Yet remember, Christ’s yoke is easy and His burden light. He exchanges our crushing load of care for His own, and in bearing it we find rest. Your burden of sin He took; your burden of service He shares.

Go forth into the streets with the Word, expecting it to prevail as it did in Ephesus. The Spirit who wrought attesting wonders then is not straitened now. When the love of Christ compels you, you will compel others to come to the wedding feast. But be not ignorant of the enemy’s devices; prayer is your shield, intercession your sword. Let there be meetings at all hours, why limit the Holy One of Israel to two or three a week? Yet if the numbers be few and the season small, fear not. A Prayer Meeting was the first foothold of the Gospel in Europe; it may be the gate of mercy in your neighborhood.

Persist, then, with supplication and many tears. The God who answered Jacob by wrestling will answer you, though perhaps not as you expect. Hope on, poor soul, hope on forever. Prayer, mighty prayer, will yet prevail if it has but time.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for the prayer meetings to grow, and you fear the creeping excuses that drain resolve. The desire is good, but examine whether you desire the growth of numbers or the growth of holiness within those few who gather. When the Lord said to learn of Him for He is meek and lowly in heart, He promised rest, not crowds. A small band of souls truly bowed in humility will shake the city more than a multitude of proud hearts. Do not despise the day of small things; the eyes of the Lord run to and fro not seeking many activities, but hearts fully committed to Him. If you would see those meetings increase, first increase in lowliness yourself. Let each one who comes strip off every excuse before stepping through the door. You read of the man who bought land, the one who married a wife, the one with new oxen, and you fear that same spirit. But do you not see that those excuses were not the root? The root was a heart that prized earthly things above the wedding feast. So I say, set no store by the weather or the health of the body or the business of the day. If you are dead with Christ, as you quote from the Apostle, then heat and rain and weariness are dead to you. The love of Christ must compel you not merely to attend, but to be already dead to the hindrance.

Prayer is a great weapon, truly, a preservative of the soul. But it is a weapon that rusts in the hand of a careless man. You cry out for the Spirit of grace and supplication, but He does not descend upon those who yawn. When you go to those meetings, do you go with the same urgency as men fleeing a burning house? Prayer was made earnestly by the church for Peter, and he was delivered. Earnestness, not length of words, pierces the heavens. And if you would have the outreach prevail like the word in Ephesus, you must first see that your own life is a word of power. Converts are not made by eloquence; they are made by men who have first learned meekness from Christ, who carry His easy yoke and light burden. For the yoke is easy not because the labor is small, but because love makes it so. He who labors for the salvation of souls, if he labors with love, feels no weight, but if he labors for display or habit, the burden will crush him.

You ask that attesting miracles might follow the preaching. But the greatest miracle is a changed life. When Zacchaeus stood and gave half his goods to the poor and restored fourfold, that was the true sign. Do you wish to see such sound conversions? Then let the evangelists first make restitution in their own hearts, let them root out the secret greed and pride. For a man cannot sell what he ought to give freely and then expect God to bless his words. The word of the Lord prevails not through clever arguments but through pure vessels. And you ask to keep the evil one away on those days. That is a right prayer, but know that the evil one flees not merely because you ask, but because you have given him no foothold through hidden sins. The Apostle warns us not to be ignorant of his devices. If there is envy among the team, or a loose tongue, or a love of money, then you open the door yourself.

Do not fear that the increase will fail to come if it tarries. The Lord who delayed coming to Lazarus did so that glory might be the greater. Perhaps He delays the visible swelling of your gatherings to test the fidelity of the few. But if you will continue steadfast, if you will not grow weary in well-doing, if each of those intercessors and evangelists will first seek the rest of their own souls by taking Christ’s meekness upon them, then in due season the Lord will draw people. For no man can come unless the Father draws him, and the Father draws those who bear the likeness of the Son. Be that likeness. Then you will not need to fear the rain or the heat, for you will have found that rest which no circumstance disturbs. And the prayer meetings, whether two or three days a week, will be not a duty but a fountain of refreshment. Go forth each morning having first made God propitious by prayer and supplication, and though the marketplace be a storm, your little boat will not sink.

I hear the deep longing in your prayer for the Spirit to move, and I share that hunger. The fact that there is any gathering at all, a group of believers ready to pray and reach out, already shows the Father drawing hearts. Those small beginnings truly are not to be despised, because His eyes are scanning the earth not for impressive numbers but for hearts wholly given over to Him. Where He finds that, He delights to show Himself strong.

What you are asking for is exactly what the Lord promised: not a work driven by human energy, but the Holy Spirit’s own life overflowing. The passages you hold onto remind us that the Spirit has already been given to the church. There is no more waiting as though He were far off. The gift has been poured out, and the same power that filled believers in the early days is yours now, waiting to be released in ever greater measure. When you ask for the Spirit of prayer and supplication, you are asking for what the Father loves to give to those who ask. Keep asking, and don’t let discouragement silence you.

Notice the central aim the Spirit always pursues: He bears witness to Jesus and He produces love. The fruit of the Spirit is love, not just a feeling, but a love that labors, that compels, that goes out into the streets with a shepherd’s heart. When you pray that the love of Christ would grip you all, you are praying right along the Spirit’s deepest purpose. He wants to perfect that love in you, so that your outreach is not just external activity but the genuine overflow of what God has already poured into your hearts. And that kind of fruit, grown slowly and deeply, is the fruit that remains. It’s the quality that outlasts flashy seasons, the lasting kind that leads many to righteousness and shines like stars forever.

Those familiar excuses from the parable, land, oxen, marriages, have a way of creeping in because the enemy knows exactly where to apply pressure. But the Holy Spirit within you is greater. In prayer, you have the authority to refuse him any foothold. Lay hold of Christ’s victory and stand firmly in it. When sickness, heat, or distractions threaten to cancel the gathering, claim that the Spirit’s love is stronger than all of them. His love constrains us to live not for ourselves, but for the One who died and rose for us. That same love will keep you showing up, keep you speaking, and keep you compelling others as the Master commanded.

Don’t worry about the quantity of meetings or the size of the crowd right now. The Father knows how to grow the seed. If the number of prayer gatherings increases, it will be because the Spirit wells up irresistibly within you, not because you strained to make it happen. Yield to the indwelling Spirit each day, and you will find yourself praying without forcing it, loving naturally, and seeing the Word prevail. Miracles and deep conversions are His work, but He delights to involve vessels who are simply filled with His presence and poured out.

So keep your eyes on Jesus, the one the Spirit loves to magnify. As you do, you can expect the Spirit’s witness, His love, and His power to be the unshakable foundation of everything you set out to do. I am standing with you in prayer that the Lord will pour out His Spirit afresh, guard you all from the evil one, and make that little gathering a wellspring of lasting fruit for His glory.

We are so encouraged by your heart for prayer and evangelism, and we’ve been lifting up your request before the Lord with great expectation. It’s a joy to stand in agreement with you as you seek His strength—not by might nor by power, but by His Spirit—to grow these small but mighty gatherings.

We’ve been praying specifically that the Lord would multiply your weekly prayer meetings, drawing more hearts to seek Him and stirring a fresh burden for souls. May the Holy Spirit of grace and supplication be poured out in power, compelling you and your team to labor until Christ is formed in those you reach. We’ve asked the Lord to remove every obstacle—whether distraction, discouragement, or the enemy’s schemes—and to let nothing hinder the work He’s begun in you. May the love of Christ so compel you that you cannot help but compel others to come to Him, just as the master commanded in Luke 14.

We’re also praying for your evangelistic outreaches, that the Word of the Lord would prevail mightily, just as it did in Ephesus, with conversions that bear lasting fruit. May the Lord grant signs and wonders to accompany the preaching of His Word, and may hearts be turned toward Him in true repentance. We’ve asked Him to shield your team from the evil one on the days you gather, that nothing would disrupt His purposes.

If you’ve seen any answers to these prayers—whether in increased attendance, salvations, or fresh boldness—we’d love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you! If the growth or breakthrough you’re believing for hasn’t yet come, we want to keep standing with you. Feel free to post this as a new request, and we’ll continue to lift it up until we see God’s hand move in power.

May the Lord bless you abundantly as you press in, trusting Him in the day of small beginnings. We’re confident that His eyes are searching the earth to show Himself strong on your behalf, and we’re excited to see what He will do. Keep us updated, and know that we’re praying for you in Jesus’ Name.
