Father, please strengthen our small team through the grace and riches and love of Christ for not only us, but for the lost, Luke 19:10. Bless our little prayer and evangelistic meetings. I ask the intercessors and evangelists are strengthened not by might nor power but by The Holy Spirit, Zech 4:6, Eph 3:14-20. Draw people out, Jn 6:44, let us not despise the day of small beginnings, Zech 4:10, for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth seeking to show Yourself STRONG on behalf of those whose hearts are fully committed to Him, 2 Chron 16:9. We humbly ask for testimonies of Your grace, conversions and some signs signifying that Jesus is the Savior of all who believe, Jn 3:16.

Pour out the Holy Spirit of Prayer on us, (Spirit of Grace and Supplication), Zech 12:10. Help us be burdened for souls, Ezek 9:4, labor until Christ is formed in people, Gal 4:19. May it grow to like three days a week, also more outreaches, effectiveness, the wise ones win souls, Prov 11 and those that lead many to righteousness like the stars forever, Dan 12:3...

Also, for the weekly evangelistic outreach, Lord, let us not let it get “rained out,” or not meet “because of the heat” or if someone “gets sick,” or “I bought some land and have to check it out,” or “I married a wife and cannot come,” or “I bought some oxen and have to try them out,” Lk 14:18-20, etc...

Let the love of CHRIST COMPEL us to not live for ourselves (since we're already dead, Gal 2:20-21), but for Christ who died and rose on our behalf, 2 Cor 5:14-15. Let the LOVE of CHRIST COMPEL US to COMPEL others to come to the wedding feast, Lk 14:23-24. Let the Word of The Lord prevail like in Ephesus, Acts 19:10, even granting attesting miracles, Acts 19:11, 1 Cor 12:28, and sound conversions, like Zacchaeus, Lk 19:8, 2 Cor 7:9-11. Keep the evil one away from the team all week, especially on the days of prayer and outreach, 2 Cor 2:11, Matt 6:13, John 17:15, Eph 6:18-19, as well as evil people and imposters, 2 Tim 3:5, 2 Tim 3:13, Tit 1:16, 2 Thes 3:2-3 and let the Word run freely and be received, 2 Thes 3:1, Matt 28:18-20, Thank You in Jesus' Name.

We rejoice with you in the vision the Lord has placed on your hearts for prayer and evangelism! The passion to see souls saved and the kingdom of God advanced is a fire that comes from the Holy Spirit Himself. We stand with you in agreement, lifting up your small but mighty team before the throne of grace.

The Word reminds us, "Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit," says the Lord of Hosts" (Zechariah 4:6 WEB). This is the foundation of all true ministry, dependence on the Holy Spirit, not human effort. Your desire to see prayer meetings multiply and gospel outreaches bear fruit is beautiful, for the Lord delights in using the weak things of this world to confound the strong (1 Corinthians 1:27). We do not despise small beginnings, for the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the earth, strengthening those whose hearts are fully committed to Him (2 Chronicles 16:9).

We pray now, in the name of Jesus Christ, that the Holy Spirit would pour out a spirit of grace and supplication upon your team (Zechariah 12:10). May your hearts be burdened for the lost, as Ezekiel was marked for those who sighed and cried over the abominations in Jerusalem (Ezekiel 9:4). Let the love of Christ compel you to labor until Christ is formed in those you reach (Galatians 4:19), knowing that those who turn many to righteousness will shine like the stars forever (Daniel 12:3).

Father, we ask that You would protect your servants from the excuses of the flesh, whether it be weariness, distraction, or the cares of this world, that would keep them from the work You’ve called them to (Luke 14:18-20). Strengthen them to press on, not growing weary in doing good, for in due season they will reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Guard their hearts from discouragement when results seem slow, and remind them that the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few (Matthew 9:37-38).

We rebuke every scheme of the evil one to hinder your meetings, whether through sickness, opposition, or spiritual attack. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that they may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against your team will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the Word of God will run swiftly and be glorified (2 Thessalonians 3:1). Let the gospel go forth with power, accompanied by signs and wonders, as in the days of the early church (Acts 19:11-12).

Lord, we ask for testimonies of Your grace, conversions that shake families and communities, like Zacchaeus, who repented and made restitution (Luke 19:8). Let the fear of the Lord fall upon those who hear the Word, that they may turn from sin and embrace salvation (2 Corinthians 7:10). May the love of Christ so compel your team that they cannot help but compel others to come to the wedding feast of the Lamb (Luke 14:23). Let the Word of the Lord prevail mightily, as it did in Ephesus, where all Asia heard the gospel in just two years (Acts 19:10).

We pray for unity among your team, that they would be of one mind and one spirit, striving together for the faith of the gospel (Philippians 1:27). May they encourage one another daily, so that none are hardened by sin’s deceitfulness (Hebrews 3:13). And may they always remember that it is not by their might or power, but by the Spirit of the Lord, that lives are transformed.

Finally, we declare over your team the promise of Ephesians 3:20-21: "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen." May your labor in the Lord never be in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58), and may you see the fruit of your obedience for generations to come. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We're genuinely moved by the zeal in your request, this is the kind of longing for God's work that Scripture describes as the eyes of the Lord searching for hearts fully committed to Him. And yours is clearly one of them.

What strikes us most is how you've woven together both the vision (growth, effectiveness, souls saved) and the honest reality of what threatens it, the exhaustion, the weather, the legitimate life interruptions Jesus Himself described in Luke 14. You already see the tension. That awareness is itself a gift.

Here's something we've found helpful in our own ministry seasons: when the work feels small and the obstacles feel large, it can steady us to remember that spiritual growth is almost always gradual, more like learning to walk than being carried. A baby takes one step, falls, gets up again. There's nothing dramatic about it, but over time it gets them where they're going. Your prayer meetings moving from one to two or three a week, your team pushing through the urge to cancel, that's the slow, faithful walking that God uses to form Christ in people, including in you. The mountaintop moments are real, but so is the daily showing up.

One practical encouragement: consider occasionally gathering your intercessors simply to testify about what God is doing in them through this labor, not just what He's doing in the outreaches. When your people taste their own spiritual growth, it renews their "want to" for the work. That fresh compulsion often does more to sustain a team than even the most stirring vision.

Father, we lift up this small team to You, protect them this week from the evil one, from discouragement, and from the subtle drift of good excuses that pull hearts away from eternal work. Strengthen their hands by Your Spirit, and grant them the deep satisfaction of seeing souls turn and being drawn to Jesus. Let the Word run freely, and let the love of Christ so fill them that they cannot help but compel others to come. In Jesus' name.

I rejoice to read of your holy enterprise, and of that little prayer and evangelism team which, by all appearances, has tasted already that the Lord is gracious. Let none despise the day of small things, for the eyes of the Lord still run to and fro to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are perfect toward Him. Your very plea out of Zechariah and Second Chronicles is itself a token that you have laid hold upon God’s own strength. It is a grand thing when a company of believers will not be content with one prayer meeting a week but cry out for two or three, and long for continual outgoings after souls. This is the apostolic spirit. In the early dawn of the church, they “continued with one accord in prayer and supplication,” and we read nothing of masses and ceremonies, but we read much of prayer meetings. Hold fast to these gatherings with holy tenacity, for they are the first foothold of the gospel in any land, the very hearthstone of church life.

Your desire to be strengthened not by might nor by power but by the Spirit is the true note of utter dependence. The Spirit of grace and supplication must be poured out; without Him, our prayers are but stringless bows and headless arrows. Go often to the mercy seat with Jacob’s model before you: argue with the Most High, plead the blood of the everlasting covenant, spread your case before Him and press your suit with the arguments He Himself has supplied. Yet remember that God’s answers may come in a manner you look not for. The prayer of Jacob was answered, but not in the way he expected. So look for conversions, for those attesting mercies, but be not the seed of the bondwoman if signs tarry. The Lord will grant testimonies of grace, for He loves to hear intercessory prayer, which is the sweetest prayer that ever ascends to His throne. There is not a grain of incense in Christ’s censer that is for Himself; He ever liveth to make intercession. So too when you are burdened for souls, groaning until Christ be formed in men, you are touching the very heart of the Great Shepherd.

I note with deep gladness your prayer against the sorry excuses of Luke fourteen. Ah, how often the field, the oxen, the wedding feast, or a passing sickness become the grave of holy resolve! Lie heavy upon your souls this truth: the love of Christ must compel you. If you are dead with Christ, then you live not unto yourselves. Coldness of heart makes a cold prayer meeting; one warm, hearty prayer is worth a score packed in ice. Let nothing quench the fervour. Should the rain threaten, should the heat oppress, should the flesh whisper of weariness, then let love flame up afresh. Tell your Master you love Him; sit or kneel and say, “My gracious Lord, I do love Thee, teach me to love Thee more.” The more you joy in His love, the more you will be drawn to the place where souls are sought.

Yet I would set a watch at the door of your spirit concerning sin, for sometimes failure in prayer is caused by some secret thing. Let no root of bitterness, no division, no cold formality creep in. A church that loses its love practically utters that terrible prayer, “Depart from us!” Keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. Cry against the evil one with confident expectation, for the Word will run and be glorified. The love of God toward you is a love that abides, that chides but never ceases; He values your love-tokens, and He will yet visit that little band with prosperity. Only press on, value the prayer meetings above the many secondary things that clamour for attention, and believe that what you ask in the name of Jesus shall be done. I could almost prophesy that your place of meeting shall become yet another spot where European souls, yes, and many from afar, shall find the open door of grace. May the Consolation of Israel make you steadfast, and may the perfume of intercessory love rise from your assembly as incense from the golden altar.

You long for growth, for effectiveness, for the Spirit to move mightily among you, and this desire itself is a proof of His work already begun. But let no one despise the smallness of your gathering. The widow’s persistent knocking brought justice, the friend’s midnight shamelessness produced bread, the Syrophoenician woman’s cry wrung mercy from the Lord. How much more will your constant prayers for souls be heard when offered with such importunity? Do not look at the handful who meet; rather, fix your eyes on the promise that the eyes of the Lord search the whole earth to show Himself strong for those whose hearts are fully His.

Yet mark this well: the strength you need is not a human strength. Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord. Before the Cross the Spirit was not yet given in that full and overflowing measure the Apostles later received. They had power from Christ to heal and cast out demons, but after His glorification the Holy Ghost was shed forth abundantly, not only to dwell in them but to fill tens of thousands through their word. That same Spirit is yours. Do not imagine you must manufacture zeal or manufacture conversions. The Spirit gives utterance, the Spirit convicts, the Spirit draws. But you must pray, and pray without ceasing, not limiting it to set hours only. Approach at all times, watching in perseverance for all the saints and for the lost.

Why then would any excuse keep you from gathering? The one who bought a field, the one who acquired oxen, the one who took a wife, these were not hindered by wickedness but by a divided heart, a heart that valued earthly things above the wedding feast of the King. Let the love of Christ compel you, for He died that we who live should no longer live for ourselves. If you count yourselves dead with Him, why should rain or heat or weariness bury your resolve? The Apostles were exceeding sorrowful and yet became bold ambassadors in chains. The love of Christ held them; let it hold you also.

Do not seek attesting signs as the measure of God’s work. Greater than any outward wonder is the miracle of a Zacchaeus standing to restore what he stole, of a soul brought to godly sorrow and repentance not to be regretted. The Spirit forms Christ in the hearers, and this is the true effectiveness. When the Word is preached with boldness, it runs freely; when you labor until Christ is formed in people, you shine as stars forever. Yes, ask for conversions, ask for evidences of grace, but trust the Spirit to work in His own manner. He does not need you to prescribe the way.

Be vigilant against the evil one, for he seeks to snatch the seed or stir up imposters. Yet greater is He who is in you. Pray for one another, that utterance may be given to open your mouths boldly, that the Word may prevail as in Ephesus. The Lord who sends laborers into His harvest will keep you in the days of outreach and prayer. Only see that you do not faint. A day of small beginnings is no proof of small results, for the birth that is of the Spirit surpasses human reckoning. The Holy Ghost is not weak, nor is His arm shortened. Persevere, and you will see the Word of the Lord run and be glorified.

What you have described may seem small in your own eyes, but it is not small in the sight of the Lord. Do not despise the day of small beginnings, for His eyes are searching the earth for hearts that are fully devoted to Him, longing to show Himself strong on their behalf. The very fact that you are burdened to pray, that you are asking for souls and for His power rather than relying on your own strength, is evidence that He is already at work.

When the need seems huge and your resources laughably inadequate, remember that the battle is never won by might or by human power. It is won by the Spirit of God. The enemy would love for you to measure the situation and conclude that you are hopelessly mismatched. But the decisive victory was already secured at the cross. Through prayer you are not fighting for victory; you are standing in the victory that Christ has already won and laying claim to it over every blinded heart and every obstacle. Do not give the evil one a place. Firmly, in prayer, hold the ground Christ has purchased.

There will be moments of desperation, times when the burden feels too heavy for words. That is the kind of prayer that moves things in the heavenlies. The pouring out of the soul, the groaning that cannot even be articulated, is precious before God. Effectual, fervent prayer is what He delights to answer. Do not be afraid of those depths. Let the love of Christ press you beyond orderly, comfortable petitions and into a place where you are truly undone for the lost, laboring until Christ is formed in them.

Be watchful against the subtle excuses that try to shrink your gatherings. It is easy to let a little heat, a minor sickness, or the cares of daily life pull you away. But the same love that compels you to no longer live for yourself will also compel you to go out again and again, urging others to come in. The banquet is spread, and the Master is still sending His servants into the streets. Go in that authority.

Learn to let your times of prayer follow the full circle. Begin with worship, pour out your petitions, and then rise again into worship. When you see even a small advance, lift a shout of praise, for the Lord is in the midst of your camp. Do not go out in your own strength as many have done, only to face defeat. Go out soaked in prayer and sacrifice, and you will see the enemy routed.

And never lose your wonder. When God begins to move, your heart will be like David’s: “This was yet a small thing in Your sight, O Lord God, but You have spoken also of far greater things to come.” What He has already done in gathering you and stirring your hearts is not small at all. It is grace upon grace. But He does not stop there. He promises that those who lead many to righteousness will shine like stars forever. So keep finding in your heart the faith to pray this very prayer, because the God who made these promises is faithful, and His words are true.
