We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent plea for refreshing sleep. Father God, You who neither slumber nor sleep (Psalm 121:4), know the weariness of this soul and the deep longing for rest that only You can provide. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, healing and restoration are available—even in the stillness of the night (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, we ask for a miraculous intervention, that Your peace would guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), silencing the anxieties and distractions that steal rest.
We rebuke the spirit of insomnia and unrest in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is written that He gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). Let Your angels encamp around this one, Lord, as You promise in Psalm 34:7, and let the weariness of the day be replaced with the renewal that comes from Your presence. We pray for deep, unbroken sleep—physical, emotional, and spiritual restoration—so that strength may be renewed like the eagle’s (Isaiah 40:31).
If there is unconfessed sin, worry, or unforgiveness weighing on this heart, we ask that You bring it to light, Lord. Your Word says that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). We surrender every burden to You, trusting that You care for us (1 Peter 5:7). May this one rise in the morning with praise on their lips, declaring that the Lord has done great things (Psalm 126:2-3).
We also lift up the name of Jesus over this situation, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or find true rest (Acts 4:12). If this request has been made without acknowledging Him, we gently remind that salvation and peace come only through faith in Christ. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, Amen.
