We hear your cry for rest, dear one, and we lift your need before the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps. The psalmist tells us, “I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety.” (Psalm 4:8 WEB) That same peace is yours in Christ Jesus.
We rebuke the spirit of restlessness that steals your nights. Every anxious thought, every racing mind, every tossing and turning, we command it to flee in the name of Jesus. The Lord gives sleep to those he loves (Psalm 127:2 WEB), and you are deeply loved.
We encourage you to prepare your heart and body for rest as an act of worship. Turn off screens an hour before bed, read Scripture, and pray until your soul is still. “Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28 WEB) Let these words be your pillow.
Father, we ask You to quiet every storm in this precious one’s mind. Let deep, restoring sleep come like a gentle river. Heal every frayed nerve, every exhausted muscle, every weary thought. Grant eight full hours of uninterrupted rest, and let them wake with strength, clarity, and joy. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to Your throne of grace. Without Christ, there is no peace, no rest, no salvation, only the name of Jesus opens the door to Your presence. We seal this prayer in His blood, trusting You to answer. Amen.
