Your pain has been heard and your cry has not been overlooked by the Lord. To be invited with promises of help and then to be treated coldly, to be alone all day and most nights in a house where you do not feel welcome, to carry the burden of rheumatoid arthritis while also carrying the hurt of unkind words, this is a heavy trial. It is understandable that you feel wounded and anxious to leave.

God sees you in this house and in this loneliness. He is near to the brokenhearted and He knows the ache of being treated harshly by those who should show love. His word calls us to seek peace as far as it depends on us, to not return unkindness for unkindness, and to entrust ourselves to Him when we are mistreated. This does not mean your hurt is not real, and it does not mean you must remain where you are not safe or cared for. It means you can bring both your sorrow and your anger to Him honestly and ask Him to guard your heart from bitterness while He makes a way forward for you.

We will pray for you. We pray for your body, that God would bring relief for the pain of rheumatoid arthritis and guide the doctors and help you receive the care you need. We pray for your disability claim, that what is just and needed would be granted without delay and that the Lord would provide for your daily needs. We pray for a suitable and affordable home for you, a quiet place of your own where you can live in peace and safety, and we ask God in His wisdom and mercy to open that door in His timing. We also pray for your sister and her household, that God would soften hearts and bring repentance where there has been harshness, and that you would have wisdom to set healthy boundaries and to seek counsel from faithful believers near you.

Do not walk through this alone. Share your situation with a trusted pastor or church family who can come alongside you, help you with practical steps for housing and medical support, and stand with you in prayer. Keep casting your cares on Christ, who bore our sufferings and who promises rest to the weary.

Father in heaven, look with mercy on Your child who feels alone and unwanted. Comfort this hurting heart, ease the pain of this illness, and provide for every need according to Your riches in Christ. Grant favor in the disability process and lead to a safe, affordable home where there can be peace. Give wisdom, strength, and protection in the days ahead, and let Your presence be felt each day and night. Guard this life from despair and fill it with hope in Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray, Amen.

The pain you are describing is very real and it is understandable why you feel hurt and alone. To be invited with a promise of help and care, especially while facing a difficult health diagnosis, and then after only a short time to be treated coldly and told to leave, is a deep wound. It is even more painful when you see the same unkindness shown to others in the household, and you are left by yourself much of the day and night without warmth or support.

Scripture places a strong emphasis on family loyalty and care. It teaches that those in a family have a responsibility to look after one another, and that to refuse to care for your own household is a serious failure of love and duty. When that duty is set aside, the hurt runs deep because family is meant to be a place of refuge. Even Jesus knew what it was to be rejected and misunderstood by those closest to Him, and He understands the sting of being dishonored in your own family. At the same time, the Bible speaks of another family, the family of God, where He places people together in love and where the bonds of faith can bring comfort when blood relationships are strained or broken. Your longing to see kindness and faithfulness restored in your sister's home is right, and the best place to take that longing is to prayer.

The Bible also presents God as the one who steps in as a redeemer when family members cannot or will not do what they should. In the story of Ruth, the kinsman redeemer was the one who willingly took responsibility to protect and provide for someone who had no other help, to secure her future and her home. That picture points to what God Himself does for His people. He sees your arthritis and the weariness it brings, He sees the loneliness, He sees the need for a safe and affordable place to live, and He does not turn away. He promised Jacob that when he returned to the place God was leading him, God would be with him, and that promise is still true. God is with you in this unsettled place, and He is able to provide what you need, whether through opening the right door for housing, through help with your disability claim, or through His own daily strength and peace when conflict surrounds you.

God's desire for marriage is that it be a lifelong covenant marked by kindness, respect and faithfulness, not by coldness or a wish to live as if single. It is not good when a husband or wife is treated with meanness, and it is right to grieve that.

I am praying for you, that God will bring healing and comfort for your body, that He will give wisdom and favor in the process of your disability claim, and that He will provide a safe, affordable home where you can have peace and privacy, the kind of single home with a fenced yard you have asked for. I am praying that He will guard your heart from bitterness while you wait, give you peace that passes understanding, and surround you with people who will show you the care of His family. I am also praying for your sister, her husband and her daughter, that God would soften hearts, bring repentance where it is needed, and restore kindness and honor within that household.

May the Lord who is your redeemer and provider keep you, give you strength for each day, and lead you to the place of rest He has for you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer and we have continued to lift you up before the Lord these past few days.

We have been praying for your difficult living situation with your sister and the hurt you feel from her coldness and unkindness, for the loneliness you experience being alone all day and most nights, and for the pain and uncertainty of your rheumatoid arthritis diagnosis. We understand how painful it must be to have been urged to move in with the promise of help, only to be told to hurry up and leave after just two months, and to witness the same unkindness toward her husband and daughter. We are also bringing your disability claim before the Lord and your deep desire to get out into an affordable single family home with a fenced in yard, and we are asking God for a miracle of provision and open doors that only He can provide.

We pray now together for you in Jesus Name. Father, we ask You to comfort our dear sister in this hurt and loneliness and to remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted as You promise in Psalm 34:18. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon her body and strength for each day with this arthritis, for Your favor and speed upon the disability claim process, and for Your miraculous provision of a safe and affordable home where she can have peace. We ask You to soften hearts in that household, to bring peace where there is tension, and to surround her with Your presence so she knows she is not alone. We trust You to supply all her needs according to Your riches in glory as You promise in Philippians 4:19.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know so we can rejoice with you. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We are honored to keep standing with you.

May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
