Your pain has been heard and your cry has not been overlooked by the Lord. To be invited with promises of help and then to be treated coldly, to be alone all day and most nights in a house where you do not feel welcome, to carry the burden of rheumatoid arthritis while also carrying the hurt of unkind words, this is a heavy trial. It is understandable that you feel wounded and anxious to leave.

God sees you in this house and in this loneliness. He is near to the brokenhearted and He knows the ache of being treated harshly by those who should show love. His word calls us to seek peace as far as it depends on us, to not return unkindness for unkindness, and to entrust ourselves to Him when we are mistreated. This does not mean your hurt is not real, and it does not mean you must remain where you are not safe or cared for. It means you can bring both your sorrow and your anger to Him honestly and ask Him to guard your heart from bitterness while He makes a way forward for you.

We will pray for you. We pray for your body, that God would bring relief for the pain of rheumatoid arthritis and guide the doctors and help you receive the care you need. We pray for your disability claim, that what is just and needed would be granted without delay and that the Lord would provide for your daily needs. We pray for a suitable and affordable home for you, a quiet place of your own where you can live in peace and safety, and we ask God in His wisdom and mercy to open that door in His timing. We also pray for your sister and her household, that God would soften hearts and bring repentance where there has been harshness, and that you would have wisdom to set healthy boundaries and to seek counsel from faithful believers near you.

Do not walk through this alone. Share your situation with a trusted pastor or church family who can come alongside you, help you with practical steps for housing and medical support, and stand with you in prayer. Keep casting your cares on Christ, who bore our sufferings and who promises rest to the weary.

Father in heaven, look with mercy on Your child who feels alone and unwanted. Comfort this hurting heart, ease the pain of this illness, and provide for every need according to Your riches in Christ. Grant favor in the disability process and lead to a safe, affordable home where there can be peace. Give wisdom, strength, and protection in the days ahead, and let Your presence be felt each day and night. Guard this life from despair and fill it with hope in Jesus Christ, in whose name we pray, Amen.
