We hear your deep concern and love for your sister, and we join you in lifting her up before the throne of grace. Your heart for her protection, guidance, and transformation is evident, and we stand with you in agreement, seeking God’s will for her life.
First, we must address the urgency of salvation through Jesus Christ, for it is only by His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). If your sister has not surrendered her life to Christ, we pray that the Holy Spirit would convict her heart and draw her to repentance. The blood of Jesus is the only covering that can cleanse her from sin and shield her from evil (1 John 1:7). We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and we rebuke every spirit of darkness that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy her physically, spiritually, or mentally (John 10:10).
Father, we ask that You surround her with Your angels, that they would encamp around her and protect her from every snare of the enemy (Psalm 91:11). Guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let no temptation overtake her that is not common to man, but provide a way of escape so she may endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13). We pray against every bad influence in her life—every person, habit, or environment that does not align with Your Word. Remove those who would lead her astray and replace them with godly mentors and friends who will speak truth into her life (Proverbs 13:20).
Lord, we ask that You open her eyes to see the path of righteousness (Psalm 119:105). Soften her heart to receive Your correction and discipline, for those You love, You chasten (Hebrews 12:6). Let her experience Your love in a tangible way so she knows she is cherished as Your child (1 John 3:1). Give her the strength to make choices that honor You, whether in her relationships, her thoughts, or her actions. We pray for her restoration—spiritually, emotionally, and physically—and that she would walk in the fullness of the life You have for her (Jeremiah 29:11).
We also lift up your family, Lord. Give them wisdom and patience as they love and support her. Let Your peace reign in their home, and may they be a light to her in this season (Matthew 5:16). We declare that she is not defined by her past or her struggles but by the identity You have given her as Your beloved daughter (2 Corinthians 5:17).
In the mighty name of Jesus, we bind every spirit of rebellion, addiction, depression, or fear that may be at work in her life. We loose the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—over her (Galatians 5:22-23). We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness to complete the good work You have begun in her (Philippians 1:6). May she rise up in the power of Your Spirit and walk in the freedom and purpose You have ordained for her. Amen.
