We lift up your sister before the throne of grace, asking the Lord to envelop her in His divine protection and guidance. The Scriptures assure us, "The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward and forevermore" (Psalm 121:8). We pray that no evil or temptation will have power over her, for God’s Word declares, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it" (1 Corinthians 10:13).

Father, we ask You to shield her from ungodly influences and bad company, for as it is written, "Do not be deceived. ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals’" (1 Corinthians 15:33). Let her walk in the light of Your truth, making choices that honor You. We plead the blood of Jesus over her, from the top of her head to the soles of her feet, cleansing her from all unrighteousness and covering her in Your righteousness. "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin" (1 John 1:7).

Lord, we ask for Your healing touch, physically, spiritually, and mentally. Restore her soul, renew her mind, and strengthen her body. Let her feel Your presence continually, knowing she is deeply loved as Your child. "I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you" (Jeremiah 31:3). May the Holy Spirit guide her every step, filling her with joy, peace, and purpose.

We rebuke every lie of the enemy that seeks to steal, kill, or destroy her faith. Instead, let her see herself as You see her, redeemed, cherished, and called for Your glory. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says the Lord, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we are saved and through whom we have access to the Father. If your sister does not yet know Jesus as her Lord and Savior, we urge you to share the Gospel with her, for "there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). May she come to know the depth of His love and the power of His resurrection.

Amen.

We can feel the deep love you carry for your sister, and your prayer is a beautiful picture of that. It is no small thing to stand in the gap for someone you care about, pleading for their protection, their guidance, and their wholeness. In doing that, you are already ministering to her in a way that reaches beyond what words alone can do.

Sometimes when we pray for a person we love, we wonder what more we can do. Your own steady faithfulness in prayer is a powerful influence. You are, in a very real sense, an agent of healing in her life, even from a distance. The care you pour out before the Lord matters far more than you may see right now. We don't have to have all the answers; we simply bring the person we love to the One who does.

As you keep holding her up, we encourage you to look for small, gentle ways to let her know she is not alone. A simple message that says, “I've been praying for you, no pressure, just love,” can sometimes break through the noise of bad influences or discouragement and remind her that she belongs to a bigger story. Not a sermon, just your presence. Those moments of ordinary connection become channels for the very protection and light you are asking God to send.

Let's continue to pray along with you:

Lord Jesus, we lift this sister to You. Surround her with Your angels and block every evil that would draw her away from Your path. Give her clear eyes to see the influences that harm her, and give her a will that longs for what is good. Cover her in Your blood, from head to foot, and let Your Holy Spirit press Your love deep into her heart, love that shows her she is known, she is valued, and she is Yours. Heal whatever is broken in her body, mind, and spirit. Walk with her every step, and let her find her true life in You. Amen.

The prayer for your sister rises to the throne of grace, and there is no surer refuge than to cast her upon Christ. Remember that our Lord was bound so that His people might be free; He took the chains that the captives might go forth unshackled. Therefore, plead that liberating work over her, that no evil may hold her, no temptation may bind her. Christ has set His people free, and He is the Lord, the Liberator who comes to break every fetter. Pray that she may know this freedom, not by her own strength, but by the mighty touch of Him who loosed the woman bowed with infirmity. Only a touch from Jesus can make her straight and cause her to walk in newness of life.

You ask that He hold her hand and cover her with His precious blood. Know this, that all who are in Christ are held in His right hand, as a star shines securely in the grip of the Almighty. There she is under special protection, shielded from the peril of evil influences and the assaults of the wicked one. Though the hound of hell may bark, he cannot destroy those who are in Christ Jesus. The blood of sprinkling speaks better things; it is a shield that turns aside every fiery dart. Trust that she is safe there, for none can pluck her from that hand.

Yet you long for her eyes to be opened, for a change to a happy and healthy life, for healing in body, soul, and spirit. This comes only by Christ in you, the hope of glory. It is Christ accepted by faith, Christ possessed in the heart, Christ experienced as the cure for sin and the fountain of all comfort. When Christ dwells within, the life we live is by the faith of the Son of God, and evil example cannot poison, nor fair temptation decoy, for greater is He that is in her than he that is in the world. Stay not looking to moods or feelings, but to the indwelling Christ. Growth in grace is simply taking in more of Him, bathing the heart in His love, till He refines every affection with heavenly inspirations.

And what of her sense of being loved, of being a child of the Lord? Tell her, and let your own soul rest in it, that every believer is perfect in Christ Jesus. Not a perfection of the flesh, but a completeness in Him, washed in His blood, clothed in His righteousness, one with His person. What room is there for sadness, or for the lie that she is forsaken, when she is perfect in Christ? Take down the harp from the willows; there is no place for despair before such a truth! Christ’s consolation is the only cordial for a sinking heart; look at Him, and see if there be not comfort there.

Therefore, let your prayer be mingled with bold faith. Plead the blood, plead the promises, but above all, plead the Person of Christ. He is the Ambassador who once was bound that captives might go free; He is the Star-Holder who keeps His own; He is the Indwelling Hope who cannot fail. As you pray, act as our Lord did in Gethsemane, watch for the soul of your sister, care for her, and point her ever to the spot where the Lord has helped her before. Faith in Christ is the grand deliverer from sin and the sure pathway to holiness. Let her drop into the arms of Jesus, and He will make her to walk in a better, normal, happy, healthy life, for the Holy Spirit ever abides with the children of God to testify that they are loved with an everlasting love.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The desire you have for your sister’s safety and well-being springs from a good and loving heart. Yet we must be careful, lest we imagine that only physical protection or the removal of external troubles is the goal. Our Lord offers far more than safety from bodily harm. He gives deliverance from the true lion, the devil, and from every evil work that would stain the soul. When St. Paul was delivered from Nero’s jaws, he counted it a far greater deliverance to be kept from sin and to finish his course blamelessly. So pray indeed for your sister’s protection, but seek above all that her soul be shielded from the temptation and bad influences you fear. No outward shelter can guard her if she does not herself flee from the tables of demons, from every worldly snare that pulls her away from Christ. She must hear the word of God not as the word of men, but as though God Himself were speaking. Let her come continually to this house of healing and write the laws of the Spirit on the tablet of her heart. Then the devil will not dare approach, for nothing is so terrible to him as a soul that hangs upon this fountain.

You plead the blood of Jesus over her from head to foot, and truly that is the only covering that cleanses and protects. But we receive that blood by partaking spiritually of the very body and blood of the Lord. Do you not tremble when you hear, “The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a communion of the blood of Christ?” This is no common thing. The flesh that was pierced, the blood that poured out salvation for the world, this is given to make the soul unstained and above all pollution. But if we receive these mysteries carnally, looking only for earthly benefits without imagining anything beyond, the flesh profits nothing. We must hunger for the spiritual healing that makes the conscience pure. Your sister’s real need is not merely a happy life in this world, but eternal life. For unless she eats His flesh and drinks His blood, she has no life in her. Pray that her eyes be opened to see this light, that she might come to Him not only for bodily healing like so many, but like that woman who came for the amendment of the soul, pouring out love upon the Healer Himself.

Do not despair if change comes slowly. Consider how a trainer tames wild creatures by constant words, yet here the power is not of a man’s intellect but the might and grace of the Spirit. Let her hear the divine oracles with great stillness of soul, banishing all earthly thoughts. Remind her that it is not enough to be freed from one vice only; we must cultivate all virtue, being both bold and free from softness, always careful to hear the word with recollection. And you yourself, as you continue in prayer, guard your own heart. Do not let your blessing of God for protecting your sister become a thing mocked if she turns again to sinful tables. Flee idolatry, and lead her to flee it with you. The Lord who delivered Paul will deliver her from every evil work, not that she should avoid all hardship, but that she should remain faithful in trial. True healing comes when mind, body, and spirit are cleansed by the Holy Spirit, who alone can touch the heart and make it new. So hold fast: a mind careful about divine matters enjoys a great calm even in the storm. Commend her to the Physician of souls, and let her learn that she is loved as a child of God not when all is pleasant, but when she clings to Him with unwavering faith.

Your prayer for your sister is a beautiful expression of love and faith, and it echoes the very heart of God for His children. That cry for protection--covering her with the blood of Jesus from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet--calls to mind an ancient truth: a covering means safety, a barrier the enemy cannot cross. Just as the blood of the lamb marked a door and kept death out, so the blood of Jesus speaks a better word over her life. That covering is not a thin, fragile thing; it is the strong, living shield of the One who laid down His life for her. So take courage. No evil can ultimately prevail against someone sheltered in that sacrifice.

You asked that no temptation or bad influence would lead her astray, and that the Holy Spirit would guide her every step. That is wisdom. Temptation itself is not sin--even our Lord was tempted in the wilderness--but the danger lies in yielding, in choosing the quick, fleshly path instead of God's path. Every day we all face that fork in the road: will we walk in the Spirit or in the flesh? Satan’s oldest strategy is to offer a shortcut, a way that seems to give what we want right now if we just step off the narrow way. But the Scriptures promise that when we ask God for guidance, He gives it generously. He does not hide His wisdom from those who seek it with a trusting heart. Pray that your sister learns to listen to that still, small voice, and that she sees each test as a chance to have her faith strengthened, because the testing of faith produces patience, and patience is a quality we all desperately need while waiting on God.

That leads to your request for healing: physical, spiritual, mental. Healing flows from the same finished work of Jesus. He went about proclaiming the good news and healing every disease and every sickness. Sometimes healing comes in a moment, like a bolt of light breaking through. Other times it comes gradually, step by step, through the body’s own God-designed processes or through the quiet mending of wounds in the emotions and the mind. I will not pretend to understand why one receives instant relief while another walks a longer road, but this I know: Jesus is both the Healer and the High Priest who was tempted in every way we are, yet without sin. He knows what it is to be pressed, to be offered an easier way, and He stands ready to help those who are being tested. He touches broken hearts, binds up bruised spirits, and restores sight to those blinded by confusion or despair. He is not locked into one method. So we can ask boldly for her healing, and at the same time trust that any true healing, whether swift or slow, is a divine work.

Finally, you asked that she would know she is loved, cared for, and a child of the Lord who wants her best. That is the very foundation. When a person truly grasps that they belong to God, that His love is not earned but freely given, it changes everything. When your sister knows she is held by the One who formed her, the lure of lesser voices loses its power. When temptation whispers that real life is found elsewhere, the truth answers: whoever tries to save her life will lose it, but whoever loses it for Jesus’ sake will find it. The happy life you long for her, normal, healthy, whole, flows from abiding in that love.

Keep praying. God hears. He is already at work, even when you cannot see it. And as she learns to walk step by step, holding His hand, she will discover that He never lets go.

We are so grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of lifting your sister before the Lord in prayer. It has been on our hearts to continue standing in agreement with you for her protection, guidance, and transformation. We have prayed fervently that the Lord would surround her with His presence, shielding her from every evil influence and leading her into the light of His truth. We asked our Heavenly Father to cover her completely—from the top of her head to the bottom of her feet—with the precious blood of Jesus, that she would walk in His healing, peace, and purpose.

We believe that God is at work in her life, even now, drawing her closer to Him and renewing her mind, body, and spirit. We have prayed that the Holy Spirit would make His nearness known to her, comforting her with the assurance that she is deeply loved, cherished, and claimed as a child of the Most High. May she feel the Lord’s hand holding hers every step of the way, guiding her into the abundant life He has prepared for her.

If the Lord has already moved in answer to these prayers, we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report—please share how He has touched her life so we can rejoice together! If you feel led to continue seeking Him for her, we welcome you to post this request again, and we will gladly stand with you in prayer once more. Whether the answer has come or is still on the way, we trust that God is faithful and will complete the good work He has begun in her.

May the Lord bless you both as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray all these things in Jesus’ mighty name. Amen.
