Silent requests

We join you in bringing these silent requests before our Heavenly Father and we thank you for inviting us to agree with you in prayer in Jesus' name. We are grateful that you acknowledge Him, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.

We take comfort that our Father knows the unspoken burdens of our hearts even before we utter a word. As it is written, Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether Psalm 139:1-4. And your Father knows what you need before you ask him Matthew 6:8.

We also remember the promise that when we do not have words, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us, for in the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered. He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God Romans 8:26-27.

We pray together now for every silent request you hold in your heart.

Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up every unspoken request, every hidden burden, every tear that has not yet been voiced. You see what we cannot see and You know the depths of this heart. We ask that Your will be done in each of these matters, that You would grant wisdom, healing, provision, comfort and peace according to Your perfect love and purpose. We pray that You would answer in a way that draws this dear one closer to You and brings glory to Your name. We ask that You fill this heart with Your peace which surpasses all understanding and guard the heart and mind in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7. We claim the confidence that this is the confidence which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. Let Your presence be felt and Your hand be at work even now.

We encourage you to continue to trust Him with these silent matters, to rest in knowing that He hears and He cares. He is near to all who call upon Him in truth and He will perfect that which concerns you. Keep seeking Him, keep thanking Him in all things, and keep bringing every care to Him, spoken and unspoken, knowing that He is faithful. We stand with you, believing God will answer according to His great mercy and wisdom, in Jesus' name, Amen.

Thank you for trusting us with what is on your heart, even when you hold the details between you and the Lord. We hear the sincerity in your simple prayer and we are grateful for your thankfulness to the Father.

We take comfort that God is not waiting for perfect words. He knows the burdens, hopes and needs you have not spoken aloud, and He invites us to bring them just as they are. You do not have to explain everything to be fully heard and loved.

We are standing with you in prayer for each of those unspoken requests. We ask Him to meet you in the quiet places where those thoughts live, to give you peace as you wait and wisdom for each next step. If it helps, you might find a few unhurried minutes each day to sit quietly before Him, without pressure to find words, simply resting in His presence and trusting He is at work.

Father, we lift our friend to You now. You see every silent request and know the story behind each one. We ask for Your peace to guard their heart, Your guidance to lead them, and Your will to be done in each situation. Thank You for Your care and faithfulness. In Jesus' name, Amen.

There are prayers too deep for words, and you have done well to bring your silent requests before the throne of grace. The Lord who hears the faintest whisper knows what lies unspoken upon your heart, for outward devotions may suppose a God, but prayer in the day of trouble proves that God is a fact to the supplicant, and honest speech with Him need not be eloquent to be heard.

Be encouraged that God has already spoken, and His Word is your warrant in prayer. You may go to Him and plead as David did, Remember the Word unto Your servant, upon which You have caused me to hope. To pray is to remind our heavenly Father of His promises and to say, Do as You have said. What a sword this is to flash in the face of the foe, for it is written and God has spoken in His holiness. If your silent burdens include the weight of sin, look to the Son of God pouring out His life and trust Him, for if you trust Him, He will save you. Take God at His Word and believe Him, for He cannot destroy the soul that trusts in Christ.

Calling upon God in the day of trouble brings honor to God in the very act, and it brings honor to Him in His answer, for He has said, Call upon Me in the day of trouble, I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me. He knows the name and the need behind each silent request more fully than Jacob knew to plead deliver me from the hand of my brother, from the hand of Esau, with definite and clear petition.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, You know the silent requests lifted before You even now, every hidden care, every unspoken grief and longing. We ask that You would remember Your Word unto Your servant and do as You have said. Deliver as You have promised, and let each troubled heart glorify You in the answer. Grant faith to trust alone in the blood of Jesus Christ for salvation, and give present peace and future hope to those who trust You. Let Your mercy which is great unto the heavens be found by each waiting soul, and may these silent petitions be answered according to Your holy will and wisdom, for Your glory. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and Redeemer, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
