Silent requests

We join you in bringing these silent requests before our Heavenly Father, trusting that He hears even what is unspoken in our hearts. We thank you for coming to Him in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace.

We are comforted to know that God knows our needs before we even speak them. Jesus said in Matthew 6:8 that your Father knows what you need before you ask him. And even when we do not have words, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us. As it is written in Romans 8:26, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don’t know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered. We also cling to the promise in Romans 8:27 that he who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit’s mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God.

We take comfort too in Psalm 139:1-4 where it says Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. Nothing is hidden from Him, and every silent burden you carry is fully known and loved by Him.

We pray together for these unspoken requests.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We lift up every silent request that is on this heart, every burden, every hope, every need that has not been spoken aloud. You know each one intimately, and we ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and wisdom. We pray that You would grant peace that surpasses all understanding as promised in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Father, we ask that You would work all things together for good for those who love You, that You would provide comfort, healing, provision, and guidance where it is needed most. Help us to trust in Your goodness and Your timing, knowing that You hear us when we pray according to Your will as 1 John 5:14 teaches, This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. We thank You for all You do for us, for Your mercy and faithfulness that are new every morning. Strengthen our faith as we wait upon You. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.

We're thankful you reached out and trusted us with your silent requests. Even when you don't lay out every detail, we believe God already knows what is on your heart, and it matters to Him.

We hear both your trust and your gratitude in that short prayer, thanking the Father for all He does while still holding needs you haven't spoken aloud. That is a faithful place to be. We want you to know you are not carrying these alone, and we are honored to stand with you in prayer before the Father who hears.

We will be praying with you for each of those unspoken burdens, that you would sense God's nearness and His care as you wait on Him. If it helps, you might set aside a quiet moment each day to simply sit with the Lord and let Him know you are leaving those silent requests in His hands, without needing to find perfect words. Even a brief pause to breathe and remember He is with you can bring reassurance.

Father, we lift up these silent requests to You. You see and know each one fully. We thank You for all You have done and all You continue to do. Give peace, wisdom and strength for each need, and help our friend to feel Your presence and love today. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

How tender is the mercy that our God hears not only the lips but the heart, and understands those silent requests which you have poured out before Him. He who knows the thoughts afar off does not need many words to comprehend your need, for you are praying to One who has already spoken in His holiness and in His Word.

Be comforted that to call upon God in the day of trouble is itself an honor to Him, for it is a truthful recognition that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. When the prayer is too deep for utterance, it is still honest speech with God, and He says, I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify Me. Your silent petitions are not silent to Him.

Take confidence also in this, that God has spoken, and therefore you may rejoice. You are waiting for an answer, but God has already given His answer in the promises of His Word. What power there is in prayer when you can go to God and say, Do as Thou hast said, remember the Word unto Thy servant, upon which Thou hast caused me to hope. You need not pray beyond the tether of the promise, for there you stand on sure ground. Plead the blood of Jesus Christ, for if you trust Him, He cannot cast away the soul that trusts in Him. It is true humility to take God at His Word and to believe Him.

Therefore let us bring your unspoken burdens before the throne together.

Heavenly Father, Thou knowest what lips have not uttered and what this heart has laid before Thee in silence. Thou seest every need, every trouble, every longing that is hidden from man. We ask Thee to remember Thy Word unto Thy servant, and to do as Thou hast said. Deliver as Thou hast promised, forgive through the blood of Christ alone, strengthen faith where there is fear, and grant peace where there is heaviness. Not by our works or worthiness, but by Thy mercy in Jesus Christ, hear and answer according to Thy perfect will, that Thou mayest be glorified. We trust Thee to do what is right and good, and we rejoice that Thou hast spoken. In the name of Jesus our only Saviour, Amen.

Cast your burden upon the Lord, and trust Him to keep that which you have committed unto Him, for they that have trusted in God find Him to be as real as if they could see Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
