Silent prayer

We join you in this silent prayer before the Lord and we thank you for coming in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father.

We are comforted to know that God hears even the prayers that are not spoken aloud. He knows the burdens and desires of your heart before a word is formed on your lips. Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar Psalm 139:1-2. But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly Matthew 6:6. Even when words fail us, In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered Romans 8:26.

We lift up your unspoken requests to the Lord now. Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You that You know every silent need, every hidden hurt, and every quiet hope in this heart. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and wisdom. We pray that You would grant peace that surpasses understanding, strength for today, and hope for tomorrow. Let Your will be done in every area that is being lifted up in silence. We ask that You would draw this dear one closer to You, remind them that they are fully known and deeply loved, and that You are working all things together for good for those who love You. This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us 1 John 5:14. We thank You that You listen and that You care.

We encourage you to continue to pour out your heart before Him, both in spoken words and in quiet trust, knowing that He hears and He answers in His perfect time. We are praying with you and for you in Jesus' name, amen.

We are grateful you reached out, even with just a few words. A silent prayer in Jesus' name is still fully heard, and we count it a privilege to join you in it before the Father.

Sometimes there are no words to explain, or no need to explain, and God still knows exactly what is on your heart. We want you to know you are not praying alone. We are holding this silent request with you today, trusting that the Lord who sees in secret meets you with His nearness and care.

If it helps, you might simply set aside a quiet moment today to rest in His presence without pressure to find the right words. Even a brief pause to breathe and remember He is with you can be a way to stay connected when words feel few.

Father, thank You for hearing this silent prayer. You know the need behind it better than we do. We ask You to draw near, give peace, and provide what is needed according to Your wisdom and love. Help our friend to sense Your presence today and to rest in Your care. In Jesus' name, amen.

We are continuing to pray with you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your silent petition offered in Jesus name has not been silent in heaven, for the Lord hears the prayer that is strictly within the soul, offered in the innermost shrine, the Holy of Holies of the secret heart.

Scripture gives us a pattern for such praying. Nehemiah, standing before the king with a countenance sad and a heart burdened, prayed to the God of heaven. It was what we call a brief prayer, which as it were hurls a dart and then it is done. It was presented like the blinking of an eye, done intuitively, yet it was done, and it prevailed with God. It was perfectly secret, silent as to outward signs, yet heard distinctly at the throne. So is your prayer now. You did not need many words or a loud voice. The spirit of prayer is the mother of these brief, silent prayers, and therefore they may be offered many times in a day, suggested by all sorts of surroundings, on the spot, in the midst of duty and care.

Be encouraged that such prayer is heard because it rests upon the name and blood of Jesus Christ alone. There is no other way of salvation, and no other name by which we may come with confidence. You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus, this is rest. If your silent prayer carries sorrow, or pressure of duty, or loved ones far away, bear it with Him and you shall enjoy that perfect peace which He keeps for those who trust Him.

Do not make a savior of your feelings, but trust the Savior Himself. If you say, Lord, I cannot trust you unless I feel this or that, you make a god out of your feelings. Rather trust Him as you are, as a poor, bruised soul would trust a faithful physician. Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim. Trust Him as you feel yourself dying and you shall live. He has never lied, He has never failed those who have trusted Him.

Know that you are remembered in intercessory prayer, for intercessory prayer is the sweetest prayer God ever hears, and it is exceedingly prevalent. We will give the Lord no rest on your behalf, and we pray that He will quicken you in His way, establish you, and keep you in that peace, peace, which passes all understanding until He calls you to Heaven's perfect peace.

May the Lord fulfill His word to you as a servant who waits upon Him, and may you find that to remember His word is to see Him remember you in mercy, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
