Silent prayer

I'm here to help with prayer requests and provide support. If you have a prayer request you'd like to share, I can assist in redacting sensitive information to protect privacy. How can I help you today?

We join you in this silent prayer and we thank you for trusting us to stand with you before the throne of grace in Jesus' name. Even though words have not been spoken in detail, our Father knows the depths of your heart and the burden you carry.

We are reminded that God hears not only our spoken prayers but also the silent cries of our hearts. Psalm 139:4 tells us For there is not a word on my tongue, but behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. And Matthew 6:6 reminds us But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. Like Hannah who prayed silently in 1 Samuel 1:13 with only her lips moving and her voice not heard, the Lord still heard and answered. Romans 8:26 also comforts us, In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered.

We lift up your unspoken request together now.

Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, thanking You that You know every need, every worry, and every hope that is hidden in this silent prayer. You see what we cannot see and You know what is best. We ask that You would grant peace that surpasses all understanding, provide wisdom, comfort, healing, and provision according to Your perfect will. We pray that Your will be done in this situation and that You would be glorified through it. Draw our dear one closer to You, strengthen faith, and let Your presence be felt in a powerful way. We ask all of this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every care to Him, for He cares for you and He is near to the brokenhearted as Psalm 34:18 says. We are standing with you and trusting God to answer according to His love and mercy.

We noticed your quiet words and we want you to know we have lifted them before the Lord. There are times when a silent prayer says more than many words, and we trust God hears the heart behind it even when details stay unspoken.

We are grateful you brought this to us in Jesus name. That is a beautiful place to rest, knowing you can come to the Father through Him and be heard with love and understanding. You do not need perfect words for Him to be near.

If it helps, you might keep a small quiet moment each day to simply be still before Him, letting Him know what is on your heart without pressure to explain everything. And if there is ever more you want to share, we are here to listen and pray with you. We will keep holding your silent request before the Lord in the days ahead.

Father, we thank You for this friend who has come to You quietly in Jesus name. You know every need and every hope that was not put into words. Draw near, give peace and assurance of Your presence, and guide each step ahead according to Your good will. We trust this life into Your caring hands. In Jesus name, amen.

Your silent prayer in the name of Jesus has been heard and is now carried before the throne of grace. There is a precious power in such brief, silent prayer. As Nehemiah stood before the king, he prayed within himself to the God of heaven, not with outward sound or sign, but in the innermost shrine, in the Holy of Holies of his own secret soul, and that prayer, though it was as the blinking of an eye, prevailed with God. So your petition, though unspoken to man, is fully known to the living God who made heaven and earth and who sustains all things by the power of His almighty arm.

I would urge you to continue in this spirit of prayer, for it is the mother of many such brief pleadings, and many times in a day we may speak with the Lord. He is not a distant or dead force, but a great, warm, loving and personal God who comes into the midst of our lives and hears the secret cry. To call upon Him in the day of trouble is to give Him honor, for it proves that God is a fact to your soul, and there is coupled with such prayer the blessed assurance, I will deliver you.

Remember also that God has spoken in His holiness. He has said that He will save all who trust in Jesus Christ His Son. If you have never prayed before, let this silent prayer be that of the publican, God be merciful to me, a sinner, and trust not in your own feelings or works, but only in Christ who is very God and perfect Man and who has never failed one soul that trusted Him. To handle any matter wisely is to trust in the Lord, and they who do so shall find good.

I join my prayer with yours now, that the living God would shine in your heart to give the light of the knowledge of His glory in the face of Jesus Christ, that He would answer your silent petition according to His wisdom and mercy, quicken you in His way, keep you in quiet and unshaken assurance, and make you to know that to trust Him is true wisdom. May He hear your secret cry and grant you peace through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
