Beloved of All
Your silent prayer has been heard and brought before the Lord, for He hears not only the voice but the heart that cries out to Him. Scripture shows us that Hannah was heard though her voice was not heard, because her heart cried out, and Moses was heard when he cried inwardly to God, and even the blood of Abel sent forth a cry that God heard. You do not need many words or fine phrases, for God knows what you need before you speak, and He delights in the sincere and quiet trust of His children.
We join our prayers with yours and thank God that we can come to Him only through Jesus Christ, who alone is our Savior and our great High Priest. He ever lives to make intercession for those who come to God by Him, and He is able to save to the uttermost. There is no other name by which we are saved, and there is comfort in knowing that while we pray here on earth, Christ Himself is interceding for us in heaven.
We pray for you now. Heavenly Father, we thank You that You hear silent prayers and see the heart. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ that You would grant peace, strengthen faith, and supply what is needed according to Your good will. Help this one to keep watch and to continue in prayer, morning and night, for prayer is a great weapon and an unshaken tower for the soul. Teach us all to pray with holy hands and a clean heart, to give thanks for Your mercies, and to trust Your grace day by day. We ask this in the saving name of Jesus, amen.
