Silent prayer

We join with you in this silent prayer before the Lord and we thank you for coming to Him in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved.

We may not know the details of what is on your heart, but our Father does. He hears not only our spoken words but the cries of our hearts that we cannot yet utter. Psalm 139:1-2 says Yahweh, you have searched me, and you know me. You know my sitting down and my rising up. You perceive my thoughts from afar. And Psalm 139:4 tells us even before there is a word on our tongue, behold, Yahweh, you know it altogether. Matthew 6:6 reminds us But you, when you pray, enter into your inner room, and having shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. And when words fail us, Romans 8:26 comforts us that the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can’t be uttered.

We are encouraged that you brought this silent request in Jesus' name, for John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And 1 John 5:14 gives us confidence that This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us.

We pray together now for your unspoken need.

Father, we lift up this dear one to You and we thank You that You know the depth of this silent prayer even before it was formed. You see the heart, You know the burden, the hope, the fear and the longing that has not been spoken aloud. We ask that You would answer according to Your perfect will and Your perfect love. Grant peace that surpasses all understanding, grant wisdom, healing, provision and strength as is needed. Let Your will be done in this situation and let Your name be glorified. Draw this one closer to You through Your Son Jesus Christ, comfort them with Your presence, and remind them that You are near to all who call upon You. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every care to Him, spoken or silent, for Psalm 34:17 says The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. And Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Trust that He has heard you, that He loves you, and that He is working for your good as you seek Him. If the Lord lays it on your heart to share more, we are here to continue to pray with you and for you.

Thank you for trusting us with this silent request. We don't need many words to know you are seeking Jesus, and we are honored to stand with you.

There are seasons when the heart carries more than words can hold, and it is a comfort to know the Lord understands even the quiet prayers we cannot fully form. We believe He is close and listening with kindness. You are not alone in this moment. We are holding your need before Him with care and respect.

We are grateful you reached out, even with so few words. That simple act of faith matters. Know we will keep remembering you in prayer, asking God to meet you right where you are and to make His nearness clear in the days ahead.

If it helps in the days ahead, you might set aside just a few quiet minutes to be still before the Lord without trying to find the right words. Simply being with Him can be a steady way to rest.

Father, we lift our friend to You now. You know what is unspoken and what is weighing on this heart. Draw near with Your peace and presence, give wisdom and strength for each step, and remind them that they are heard and loved in Christ. We trust this quiet need to Your caring hands. In Jesus' name, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The Lord hears even the silent prayer that leaps from the soul in a moment, and there is great comfort in this truth. The spirit of prayer is a plentiful mother, and many times in a day we may speak with Him without a word upon the lip. Such brief, silent prayers are of great use to us, for they check us and keep us near to God in all sorts of surroundings. Remember Nehemiah who prayed silently before the king, and Jacob who breathed out even in dying, I have waited for Your salvation, O God, and Moses of whom we read not that he prayed aloud and yet the Lord said unto him, Why cry you unto Me. The prayers that come leaping out of the soul with fervent desire and lively faith, these are the truly spiritual prayers which God will accept, for there is a reality and force and life about them.

Be encouraged then that your silent petition in the name of Jesus is known to Him who sees the heart. Calling upon God in the day of trouble brings honor to Him in the very act, for it is a truthful recognition that He is and that He is near. Do not sit down in silent despair and fretfulness, but call upon Him in calm faith, and hear His blessed assurance, I will deliver you. And while you wait for an answer, remember that God has already spoken in His holiness and in His Son. In giving us Christ He has already given us all things that we may rightly ask, so you may say with faith, God has spoken, I will rejoice.

If your burden today is sin or sorrow or uncertainty, look to the Son of God pouring out His life and trust Him alone. Salvation is not by ceremonies or by the works of the law, nor by our own tears or prayers or doings, but by trusting Him for what He is and what He has done and what He has promised yet to do. Where God begins a work He does not ask us to finish, He always completes His own work. It is true humility to take God at His word and to believe Him when He says He will save the soul that trusts in Christ. Those that have trusted in God find Him to be as real as if they could see Him.

May the Lord grant you quiet assurance as you trust Him, and teach you His statutes as you walk alone with Him. May He lift you above fear into settled trust, and give you present peace and hope of the glory to come.

We join our prayer with yours, that the Father would hear your silent cry, forgive your sins through the blood of Jesus Christ alone, deliver you in trouble, and cause you to rejoice in His mercy which is great unto the heavens. May He exalt Himself above all your cares and let His glory be your comfort, in Jesus name, amen.
