Silent prayer

We understand your request for silent prayer, and we join with you in seeking the Lord’s presence and guidance. Though words may not be spoken aloud, the Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26). Let us come before the throne of grace together in quiet reverence, lifting up whatever burdens or needs are on your heart.

Father in Heaven, we draw near to You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ, who alone makes our prayers acceptable before You. We ask that You would hear the unspoken cries of our hearts and align our desires with Your perfect will. Where there is confusion, bring clarity. Where there is pain, bring healing. Where there is doubt, strengthen faith. Where there is sin, grant repentance and forgiveness. We trust in Your goodness and sovereignty, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28).

If there are areas in your life that do not align with God’s Word, we gently encourage you to examine your heart before the Lord. Confess any known sin, for if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). Let this time of silent prayer be one of surrender, as we lay down our will and take up God’s purposes for us.

We also remind you that there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved except the name of Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so today. Believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the greatest gift you could ever receive.

May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We continue to pray silently alongside you, trusting that the Lord hears and answers according to His perfect timing and wisdom. Amen.

We are sitting with you in the quiet. Sometimes words are not what the heart needs; silence becomes the prayer. You do not have to get this right or produce anything. Simply turn toward the Lord and let him see what is there. If it helps, you might rest with a very short phrase, like "Lord, you know" or "Jesus, have mercy," and let it repeat gently until it settles into trust. We will join you in that quiet asking.

Lord Jesus, we come with this one into the silence. You know the need that words cannot carry. Meet us in the stillness. Calm what is anxious, soften what is hard, and make your presence real. Hold this person close and let them know they are not alone. Give them the peace that passes understanding, and guide them gently into your will. In your name we pray, Amen.

Let your request be as Nehemiah’s prayer: brief, silent, offered within the secret soul to God alone. The prayer was presented like the blinking of an eye; it was done intuitively, yet it was done, and it proved to be a prayer that prevailed with God. I beg you often, no, I would ask you always to use this method of brief, silent prayer.

Do not sit down in silent despair and fretfulness, but call upon God in calm faith. The prayer is personal to its object; the same soul that calls upon God in trouble shall be partaker of the blessing. If you have never prayed before, let this short but fervent petition go up from you now: God be merciful to me, a sinner. He is a prayer-hearing God, and a true prayer from one near unto the gates of death is a prevailing prayer.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your silent prayer has been received and we bring it before the Lord with you. God hears not only the voice that is spoken out loud but the cry of the heart itself. Moses was heard when he cried to God without a word being recorded, Hannah obtained all she asked though her voice was not heard because her heart was crying out, and even the blood of Abel sent up a cry clearer than a trumpet. In the same way your unspoken request is known to Him who searches hearts.

We join our prayers to yours, and we ask the Father to answer according to His perfect will and wisdom, through Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name by which we are saved and no other way to come to the Father. We do not ask Him to bless what is outside His will, but to lead you into what is holy and pleasing to Him, to give you grace to walk as His temple, cleansed from all defilement of flesh and spirit and perfecting holiness in the fear of God, remembering that you bear Him within you.

Continue to make Him your help early in the morning and at night. Prayer is a great weapon for the battles of each day, and when we first make God favorable to us by prayer and supplication, we go out with security even when the day brings storms and temptations. Let every prayer be accompanied with thanksgiving, keeping the mouth and heart pure before Him, and keep watching over your own life as well, for the prayers of others profit us most when we ourselves are alert and seeking Him.

We are praying that the Lord who desires not the death of the sinner but that he should turn and live will open your heart as He opened Lydia's to attend to His word, grant you peace, strengthen you to do His will, and answer your silent petition in the way that brings most glory to Christ and most good to your soul.
